Sweet sighed climbing up the mountain. Originally she was much madder, but storming up the mountain defiantly blew off steam. It was good to get up and really move, it relaxed her. Sometimes back in her room, she would just pace back and forth if she didn't have anywhere to go. She knew it was a bit weird, she would jump if someone caught her knocking at her door. She was the type that needed to move though, pent up energy or something. She was defiantly glad she disagreed with Amber about the heels, not exactly mountain climbing material. Though... tennis shoes weren't exactly date material. Sweet looked down at the rest of her attire, tight dark blue jeans and a simple sleeveless orange top with a bow at the collar. Sweet felt the cold breeze caress her. Hiking up the mountain, it felt good and refreshing. Sweet stroked her arm, she should have brought her jacket, she just knew she would regret showing this much skin. Leaving behind the jacket just because she didn't think it was cute was stupid. After some more debate with Amber, she also threw on a sliver band with a embedded tiger eye, and she pulled back the sides of her hair with a clip. Sweet played with the bracelet spinning it around her wrist. She actually had quite a few pieces of jewelry. She had them more for admiration of beauty though, she couldn't stand wearing them. She always fiddled with them to much if she put them on. Probably related to that pacing thing, she had a hard time doing just nothing. Over all, she thought she was quite cute tonight. She had some prickly thoughts though. She was never the most fashionable and knew other girls might try a little harder. She was comfortable though minus the jacket part.

Sweet reached the top to see an overwhelming amount of beauty. Even if this date was a unhumorous way Captain planed on getting information, at least she would be able to see all this. The sneery on a boat was nice and all, and Goddess see loved that ocean air, but she did find her self surprisingly missing the mountain view. She had family that used to live in areas like this, it was surprisingly reminisce-full. The overwhelming landscape, growth that filled in the gaps around you, and that sky. True, not much different from the deck of a boat, but you just.. felt closer on the mountain top? Sweet chuckled wondering if a few hundred feet could make up for millions or billions. Sweet leaned up against some stones that looked clean of dirt and moss. She felt a little tearful. She didn't think she would miss her family this much. It was like a wave of emotion engulfed her for a moment. Her family was never the closest of families, but family just had a feeling no one else had. At least, it was something like that for her. Truthfully, she didn't know how she should feel about them. She always felt that 'family will love you no matter what' was the worst fib of a fairy tale, but maybe it was some kinda awareness like that. Whatever memories the scenery brought up, she knew she wouldn't regret leaving. Sweet sniffled the thoughts away, she didn't come here for this.

Sweet looked around to see if her 'date' was here yet. Sweet chuckled again, this time more menacing. He was more like a victim, this whole date setup was just a way for the crew to sweet talk some information out of the locals. It left a bit of a bitter taste in her mouth thinking they might be fooling people looking for honest relationships, she was also able to sneer though. Observation hadn't left her with the the impression thats what most people were looking for now a days. Amber was probably more excited over the dates than anyone in the crew. She warned her not to get her hopes up, love with outsiders were taboo plus Sweet never really latched on to anybody romantically. The closest thing she probably had to a romance was the crew's family teasing. Captain being the daddy, and she being the mommy. It was so bad, the joke ended up following them to shore. Sweet choked at the Captain's homey little family plan, she had no idea how Captain was going to explain if their dates ever found out they were 'married'. Well it wasn't real and it would never really happen, but none of their neighbors knew that. Sweet defiantly wasn't in to older men... at least 10 years older. Sweet sighed getting frustrated again. This felt to high school. But now that she thought about it, when she was actually in high school she avoided that drama has mostly has possibly... She freaked when some guy kept on trying to walk her to her next class. She just wanted to get to the next subject has quickly has possible while he wanted her to slow down and hug at the door. Awkward. It felt like it was all catching back to her now. Sweet looked forward waiting for someone to step out of the trees and bushes. She felt weird about a first date being so far away from civilization. Growing up, she had been told it's safest to meet a stranger where there was tones of witnesses. Sweet could feel the sweat drop dripping off her face. Guess it was different when she was the one attacking. Sweet quietly checked her knife tucked in the back of her pants and the gun in her pant leg. True while they were hiding out here they were post to avoid violence, evade suspicion and all that, but she didn't know what kinda freak her date could be? Well she was a pirate looking for info, who knows who her date could be and what they would want from her.

Ah, cool fresh air and bright blue skies. Fluffed clouds and thoughts of potential romance, such fun this would be. He would have to make a note to bring a man up here one day, urge him to show 'her' the beauty of the mountain tops and how much more beautiful he would make them with a kiss or two. Now now, he nudged his own mind, you're set up for a date and shouldn't be thinking of future endeavors. Best keep thoughts upon the task at hand. Yet nonetheless the thoughts left a lingering smile upon his lips. His dress was casual, a simple black short and pair of red somewhat-skinny jeans with nothing more than casual sneakers donning his feet. He thought ahead in a sense that he would rather be comfortable than try to impress anyone with his clothes. Surely his shoes wouldn't make-or-break him in a first date, let alone blind date, situation. Then again, who was to say he didn't get paired up with a snooty little prude who cares nothing more than petty looks. He scoffed at the though, a grin soon replacing up as his gaze turned to the sky. No matter what anyone said, he was sexy no matter what he wore and he always would be. He was raised to take pride in himself and be confident, for confidence is beauty -- whether male or female. Though, part of him had thought it would be amusing to see his date's reaction if his 'sister' had shown up rather than him. Oh what fun that would have been,. though he must settle for what he received.

The walk hadn't bothered him much really, it gave him a chance to look around more he supposed. He was still fresh to the island, knew little of it, and met absolutely no one. It was almost a surprise when he had heard of such a festival of blind dates which brought utter cheer to him. Not only would he finally meet someone on the island, but he can finally work out some of his pent up... needs? No, perhaps that sounds to perverse. It's more like... well, simply put, he's been itching to make someone squirm under his charm. Or rather, what he takes as his charm. it hasn't really failed him terribly often but it does happen on occasion -- especially if he chooses a more... complicated target. His eyes flickered up, grinning as he neared the top of his journey. Absently adjusting a bag he wore over one shoulder the soft clinking of glass could be heard within it before he stepped over the threshold to come to rest at the top.

Gaze drifted over the girl before him, a cheerful grin still pulled across his face. Hmm... Slender, sorta pale, long hair, dark eyes. He snorted a soft laugh to himself before inclining his head in a bow. "Why hello there," he broke the silence, voice smooth in it's natural tone... One of those voices that would send shivers down the rare few's spines while nonetheless being pleasant to the ear for others. Her peered about a moment before returning his gaze with a warmer smile, "I hope I hadn't kept you waiting long Miss...?"

Sweet was sure she hadn't been waiting to long, she was getting uneasy though. The wait was getting to her, gave her to much time to think. She kept telling herself she shouldn't be here alone. What if he was.. overly friendly. Has beautiful has the sight was, it wasn't exactly a place to easy call for help. Sweet digged the toe of her shoe into the dirt boredly. Well she was good at protecting herself and had the weapons to do so. Sweet annoyedly sighed. She hadn't even met the guy yet and she was already planing to skin him. For all she knew, he could be a sweet innocent villager looking for true love. Sweet felt she was sighing out her soul, she was over exaggerating in both directions. She just needed to wait...

"Why hello there,"

Well the wait was over, and just in time to save her from another thriller killer fantasy. She wasn't sure if she should be happy or not. She no longer had to wait, but now she had a date with the actual stranger... A not bad looking stranger. At least she didn't have to look at an ugly mug for the rest of the night. To her luck, it seemed he didn't feel the need to over dress either. Though she probably would of at least gotten a laugh tonight if the guy hiked up the mountains in a tux. The best part of it all was his blue eyes. Sweet always was surprised she fell into the population that drooled over the opposite sex with pools of blue, but it was her favorite color, Plus blue just seemed so much more brighter and pretty.

"I hope I hadn't kept you waiting long Miss...?"

"Just long enough." Sweet tried smiling but she never thought her forced smile did her any good. She probably wasn't the best choice for a stealth mission like this. "I'm Kate Young." Sweet walked over holding out her hand for a hand shake. She had debated before coming whether to introduce herself has Sweet or not. In the end, she decided best not use the name spread around by pirates, no matter how much it felt like her name now. She had already made the mistake of letting it slip once when she ran into a local earlier that week. "You are my date for this Moon Viewing date thing?" Well has stupid has she worded it, she thought she would double check. There could be others roaming the mountain tops... she would hate to make a mistake though it did make her sound a little slow and a bit of an obvious question.

"Just long enough."
"I'm Kate Young."

His gaze fell to the extended hand in which he took between slender fingers and lifted slowly. "Pleasure to meet such an exquisite beauty then, Miss Kate Young. I'm Ezra Smith," he replied simple before pressing his lips gently against her hand before releasing it. Sure, he was a tad over the top, yet it was obvious he was just doing it playfully as the mischievous glint was easily seen in his eyes.

Stepping back he craned her head to look up at the sky, beaming as a few stars speckles the still light sky.

You are my date for this Moon Viewing date thing?"

He blinked a few times, turning her gaze back to her with a look of utter confusion. Was it really not obvious? Yes, he didn't dress his best but by the looks of it neither did she... or.. did she? Oh dear, what if this WAS the girl's best and he is just... He shook the thoughts from his mind and replaced the warm smile upon his face. "Yes, I would assume I am."
