Season: Fall l Time: Morning l Tag: Isamu l Notes: Last para is tiny lol After today's incident, Nolan did have doubts that Isamu could convince that one person that it wasn't the truth. The whole conversation hadn't ended will and resulted to him leaving and Isamu crying. Though Nolan had uncertainties about it, he didn't want to let doubts get in the way of preventing Isamu from getting reported or a column in the local paper that a rumored criminal was hiding somewhere on the island. Her crying was loud enough for the boy to hear it and Nolan could tell that Alexander did hear since through the corner of his eye, he saw the kid's expression change. He didn't really look for long though and wanted to help Isamu, though he wasn't sure if he could really do much for her now. Nolan smiled for the girl, his palms remaining on her shoulders to help comfort her. " If he doesn't believe you, at least you know that you tried! I mean... after that punch, I'm not sure he'd be too forgiving, but it's better to try than to risk false rumors spreading about you!" He replied, still smiling though he did still feel pretty concerned about her, " Who knows, maybe he was just all talk!" That's what Nolan wanted to believe-- this was just some silly happening that they'd look back on and think about how it was all just some really weird event that was better off forgetting about. He wanted to laugh about this in the future but right now, it was no laughing matter at all. " O-of course!" Nolan answered with a nod, wanting to comment on how fun it was but in all reality, Isamu nearly drowning and crying over being accused of something she didn't do wasn't fun. Only a really weird person would think it was. She wiped her blue eyes, trying to dry her tears, and Nolan wrapped his arms around her in a loose hug from behind. " Nope! Because you made a new friend and got to spend time with people who care about you!" He chirped in a happy tone of voice.

» Season « Fall // » Time « Morning // » Tags « Nolan // » Notes « --- I'm doing this all for youI'm doing this all for me. Well, doing it for both of us, I'm going to hide my face and cry my eyes out Isamu took as many breathes as possible, but quietly. She didn't want to appear as if hallucinating in public over an event, belief in such a thing happening wasn't really lingering inside of her. Despite the reassurance she had heard about trying, she only nodded. The saying of a man not hitting another woman never was mentioned back home, so she was often scared a man would hit her, seeing the saying wasn't true to everyone, but it seemed to work on Saffron. The white haired man had been punched, she had believed he would've punched her back. After living the way she had so long, she only believed it was supposed to happen, only men hurt worse. Would probably explain why she was so tense around them so often. "If I even see him.." her voice almost a whisper, as if saddened by her actions in hurting the white haired man. He didn't deserve it in Nolan's eyes, but Isamu had believed he had. Seeing she was raised differently from everyone else, certain rules one might not regularly believe in, she would follow. It was a bit hard to explain, everything about her was hard to explain really.
A pair of loose arms wrapped around her shoulders from behind, her skin briefly being left as her whole insides jumped in the side. Of course, that wasn't what really happened she hoped. Her whole body had jerked a little bit however, not really being used to so much physical interactions other than the typical punching or slapping, seeing it was often her father she would get mad at only to be re-payed later on in an unpleasant physical contact. Seeing Nolan was another guy, she was also tense but trying to become more comfortable. He had no signs of beating her in like him. She had no reason why she was so tense around every man she met, some of them where just to nice to even suspect such a thing from them, but she never let her guard down anyways. "Y-yeah.." she nodded a bit slowly, her eyes darting over to Alexander who was stuffing shells into his shirts, a few plopping out of the bottom as he began to charge over to the group.
Her eyes followed him, his shirt almost rounder than the earth itself, stuffed with seashells. His feet planting into the sand and leaving again, leaving a big cloud of dust. Shells continued to plop into the sand as he reached them. Once he got right beside the two, all the shells fell out right beneath him. "Awwww!" even though it was quiet, she could obviously hear the whining voice as his eyes trailed off behind him.

Season: Fall l Time: Morning l Tag: Isamu l Notes: -- Letting go of Isamu after hugging her, Nolan gave another comforting smile for the dark haired girl and placed his hands over his knees that were still bent against the sand with his legs tucked underneath him. " Today wasn't all bad... a lot of what happened could be done without, but there's still time for you to enjoy yourself!" He went on, wanting to make sure that she knew that there was still time for her to have fun. It wasn't like the entire day was over, though he couldn't blame her if she felt exhausted and just wanted to rest now. After all this excitement he himself felt a little sleepier but Nolan didn't want to be rude so he didn't let it show. Alexander was trying to collect seashells but ended up dropping them all when he bent to pick up a couple. Nolan laughed a bit to himself, not being too loud but finding it cute how the boy was trying to amuse himself. Standing up by placing his palms on the sand and pushing himself back up, Nolan ran over to the boy and helped pick up some of the shells. " Hey, you have a lot of sea shells here! Are you trying to collect them all?" He asked in a friendly tone of voice, holding out the ones he picked up towards the young boy. Kids were always so energetic and easily amused... Nolan's mom said he didn't act a year older than 13, but he took that as a compliment.
