Who needs a GRANDPA!?, Seriously, this is important

So, I [apparently] do a pretty good job of playing old, bitter characters that make dull situations wonderfully full of tension and snide comments, and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to let me play their prospective grandparent so I can have a connection to the town.

I haven't given my prospective character a last name since I don't know who or if I'll be related to anyone, but I was thinking about naming him Thaddeus ____.

I'm planning on making him angry, callous, and with absolutely no regard for anyone's feelings. He'd be the oak tree of the village: locked into every part of the island with his unrelenting, gnarled roots. In my experience, characters like this are the jalapeno sauce to a town's recipe, and I have no problem if the person who wants me to be their grandparent ends up hating my character. In fact, I'd be surprised if there was anyone who'd feel the opposite.

but hoooo man it would be SO GOOD

It'd be a terrible fit for my character, since he's from a couple thousand miles away- but please let me know when you've made him, since I think my conservative, easily-angered, gadfly-ish monk would be one of the few people to legitimately enjoy your character's company.
