So are any of you guys fans of the Harvest Moon spin off Rune Factory? I'm not the biggest fan in the world for it but the console versions like RF Frontier and RF Tides of Destiny are pretty good and I'm a total sucker for anime cutscenes. I just wish there were more of them. <3

I've only played:
DS (the original)
RFF
RFTOD.

So yeah like I said not the biggest fan in the world. ^_^
Do you like them? If so why? That's right I'm making it difficult! ^^

I've gotten to Summer on the original Rune Factory and I really, really, really, REALLY want the RFs for Wii. I like it, but I'm a big fantasy nerd. I adore the costumes and the backgrounds. There are a lot of adorable bachelorettes, so I had to create several save files (I'm playing it on a DS Emulator, btw). I'm trying to marry Felicity, Rosetta, and Mist.

i've played and own all of the rune factory games /hipster glasses

i love fantasy and medieval time periods, so rune factory is like, the perfect game for me. i've 'finished' all of them except for tides of destiny because i just got that game like, a month ago. i actually really like the console versions of the game- rf the original was a little hard to finish, but 2 & 3 were fairly easy and cute games! i prefer the wii games for sure though. tides of destiny is fun and i love the plot. my all time favorite rf game would have to rf frontier though. i love the storyline, the dungeons, the bachelorettes, and the artwork. i feel like rf the original & rf frontier are the most 'mature' games in the series (imo, it's because the artwork actually makes them look like they're in their twenties)

in the original, i ended up marrying sharron (holy crap, it's hard), for 2 i married cecilia and my child (daughter) 'married' roy, for 3 i married pia (... mermaids are cool). for rf frontier i ended up debating between selphy and mist but ended up with selphy. and for tides of destiny... i'm not sure yet.

I'm kind of on the fence about them still. Firstly, I'm not the biggest fan of dungeon crawlers so I was really unsure what I was going to feel when I started playing. I bought the first one for DS a little while ago and maybe go through the first two seasons before I decided to sell it back. It just really wasn't my cup of tea. However, for some reason I still want to try the ones for Wii so if I ever find them cheap or weirdly have money to burn, I would certainly pick it up.

I like how they're trying to reach a different audience though. Like I said, I would certainly be happy to try another RF version again. : )

I’ve only beaten the original one on the DS and married Felicity in it. She was my favorite other than Laura (the nurse) and Mist.

I actually got ToD for the ps3 just because I have a strong dislike for the wii remote and the classic controller (I want them to make one wireless!) It’s probably the reason why I haven’t finished RFF despite the fact that I love the graphics and the character art a lot! I think the character art in ToD is really, really childish but I enjoy the game so I’ll forgive it.

I’m nearing the end of ToD, at least story plot wise. I’m on Frost Island in search for the final dungeon key. There’s only 4 main dungeons.

Marriage wise I’m really torn. Violet was my first choice because it’s so in your face that she likes you! ^_^ My second choice is Pandora the arch-sorceress because she’s bossy and a complete failure at being evil. Then either Lily or Odette. I really like the three sisters a lot in this game. ^__^

When I play as Sonja I’m hoping to go for Joe he’s so fun. Though he lacks a bit in the looks. >.>
