Meet Nolan Rivers !
~An enthusiastic, optimistic young man who
finds no interest in being a mature, hard-working adult. He's
friendly, adventurous, and likes making the most out of life~

Friendship: I'd like seeing him gain a nice group of friends that he can spend time with. Nolan is out-going and has no difficulty getting to know others, being quite confident in himself. He'd be kind to his friends and stand up for them in any kind of situation. I think it'd be fun for him to have a friend who tries stopping him from doing anything they'd regret later on or a friend who joins in on the fun. A couple childhood friends would be perfect, but newer ones are also gladly accepted!

Romance: I would like for him to settle down eventually but he needs to go through some coming-of-age first. As of now, Nolan still feels he's a kid and has a lot he feels he needs to accomplish first. However, he is very prone to crushes. He'd most likely be very playful with whomever he falls in love with and have a hard time accepting that he may have serious feelings for someone. Once Nolan accepted his feelings, he'd be extremely dedicated to his relationship with them.

Rivalry: Enemies, rivals, the like... because of Nolan's pranks, I'd imagine there are some people who wouldn't have a very strong liking for him. Other than his mischievous behavior, he's friendly to everyone and helps out whenever he can, so I can't really place why else he might have an enemy. Maybe a rivalry in little things, such as competing for who is better at something. I wouldn't like him to have very many of these though.

Other relations:Something I really hope for is someone who serves as a father-figure or someone who tries keeping Nolan firmly grounded. They'd have a challenge since Nolan doesn't like listening much but having at least some sort of guardian would be benefitial to him in the long run. As for anything else, I am completely open to relations that don't fit what I have listed above =]

Meet Dakota Marlow !
~A quiet, timid young man who rarely speaks.
It's difficult to say if he chooses not to talk or if he simply
forgot how, but he is passionate about animals and helping others.~

Friendship: Dakota isn't a mean person and wouldn't ever hurt someone's feelings. Though the fact that he doesn't talk and expresses himself through his eyes and body language may serve as an obstacle, he treats others with respect and having friends will help him come out of his shy little shell. Because of how loud his guardian is, Dakota doesn't mind obnoxious people and can get along well with most personality types.

Romance: Dakota's mind doesn't wander to love and relationships very often. He's not closed off to the idea but he just doesn't think about it very much. Anyone willing to try a relationship with him would have to accept his quietness but he's very romantic and would treat his girlfriend like a gentleman. He'd be a little shy at first but quickly warm up.

Rivalry: Dakota isn't competitive nor does he like to make enemies. I can't really see a reason for someone to dislike him other than they might take his silence as an insult? If he knew anyone didn't like him or tried to challenge him, he'd get his feelings hurt due to being a huge softie and wanting to be friends with everyone or at least be on good terms.

Other relations: Anything else, I'm completely open! Dakota is a shy boy and needs someone to help him gain confidence again~

Meet Mail Ryder !
~An intellectual business man who shields himself
from trusting others around him. Surveying the island for the next
location for a chain resort, he keeps himself strictly goal orientated~


Friendship: Friendship isn't something Mail has an easy time with. Mail doesn't trust people easily and though he may smile and be on his best manners around people, he rarely gives a sincere welcoming smile and seems to push people away when he feels they are becoming close to him. This is a defense mechanism of Mail's but it's not impossible for him to open up-- it just takes a lot of time, patience, and not rushing the process. The process may be slow but Mail would end up caring a lot about them and be protective if a friend was mistreated.

Romance: Romance is the most difficult thing to develop with Mail. He has a hard enough time accepting someone as a friend and love is even more risky and requires both people to be vulnerable, which Mail has a very hard time doing. It's definitely not impossible for him to develop feelings for another but he would be too shy to confess his love in fear of rejection. He's already claimed for a relationship so I don't really have that much to say here.

Rivalry: It's not very hard for Mail to dislike someone. This is because of how easily annoyed he gets and when he doesn't know someone very well, if they do anything to irritate him he probably won't like them again. He's not the most forgiving of people and tends to hold grudges, even being a little on the vengeful side. He may still smile and be 'polite' to their face but Mail can be very passive aggressive at the same time. Of course, Mail is a total softie deep down inside and would never be able to hate someone to the very core.

Other relations: Mail's reason for being on Saffron Island wouldn't be a very popular one. He's surveying different, unique locations to place a resort on to attract a lot of people for a taste of something new. Mail would keep a low profile on this but I don't think very many people would approve of the idea. It'd be fun to do something with this idea involving other characters. However, Mail wouldn't be stupid enough to blurt out his intentions, so not very many people would find out or at least know who specifically is doing it. Something I hope for is Mail to slowly fall in love with the island and the people there, thus considering dropping the plans, but I'd think there'd be some tension.

So, Celeste would get annoyed very quickly with Nolan's pranks and jokes, so I feel like there would be some animosity there. She would definitely just get annoyed with him, never full blown anger unless she was already frustrated enough that day. But I could see a sort of...sibling like relationship? Mayhaps?

And I dunno if you're interested, but if you need any older ladies for Nolan to have harmless crushes on or something, my girls are up for it. : )

And also, I am making a new charrie soon, so possible childhood friends maybe? Did you have an specific ideas in mind?

Sibling like relationship sounds good! If Nolan knew how much they bugged Celeste he would target her even more for some little pranks here and there. He'd treat her like a sister and find it funny how she reacted. Probably be even more of a pain to her than with most others =P

And sure, I'd love to have your character be a childhood friend of Nolan! I'm open to any possibilities but an idea would be them being best friends from back when they were little and while Nolan was living with his grandparents, they visited or kept in contact through letters? *needs to get him a bestie*

As for the older ladies, Nolan would most likely have a little crush on one of them. He'd have a soft spot for Marle if he knew what she's been through and try to be a good friend for her ^^

Hmmmm, how about friends with playful rivalry? =D They can meet through their first thread and have a friendship where they compete a lot through games or made-up challenges. Nolan would enjoy having a friend that he could joke around with. Maybe Malachi could be the more mature one and try staying out of things or stop Nolan whenever he was about to cause trouble somewhere. Opinions? You may add on/change whatever you'd like ^^

I think Nolan should meet Tabitha. They're pretty much perfect opposites. Tabitha is sixteen, clairvoyant and highly dependent. xD She hasn't really interacted with many people, but she's one of the few in the midst of her teenage years. She needs someone outgoing to actually talk to her because she's incredibly shy. But she would probably end up getting a little crush on Nolan xP

Tabitha sounds awesomely-awesome to role play with Her and Nolan are opposites but this could strike up an interesting bond between them. Seeing how shy she was, Nolan would gladly try to at least bring out a more sociable side of her when he was around. And crushes sounds cute lol!

I think they would have a really interesting dynamic. Especially since they both like cats. xD If Nolan has had anyone close to him die, Tabitha would be interested because she can sense death. xP

That would be fun for them to be rivals in games and maybe Malachi can be the one to try to keep Nolan from doing troublesome things. Probably playfully threatening to arrest him a time or two XD I can see them being friends.

I think role playing them will be entertaining since Malachi's a cop and all XD Probably would get quite a few complaints from random citizens about some blond kid launching fireworks in their yards and playing practical jokes on them. Other than all that 'mischief', I like the friendly rivalry idea a lot.

I see them becoming friends easily! They seem to have quite a ew things in common and.. well.. yeah. XD Avery would like the company and just hanging out really. They seem like they would hit it off.

I see them going on adventures and dangerous escapades together. XD They both seeming to be a tad reckless when it comes to those things.

They seem like they'd hit it off well! Avery has a lot in common with Nolan like you said, and I can see them becoming good friends. She could try keeping him more grounded whenever he's planning on doing something on the dangerous side, maybe distract him by doing other things that are a lot safer. Whenever Nolan's bored is when the crazy pranks start brewing =P

Nolan would love to have an adventurous friend! Having someone to explore the island with or look into different mysteries would be a lot of fun! If Miku was willing to take chances, he'd probably go to her first whenever he wanted to do something on the riskier side. Or if Miku had her own ideas Nolan would be all for it XD
