Season: Fall (soon Winter) l Time: Ten 'till Midnight l Tag: Tsula l Notes: Weird timing but I thought it was unique? XD

Fall was one long season. Half of it was him being bored and grudgingly working every day only to find that once his shift was finally over, he now had nothing else to do other than roam town and see if there was anyone he could bug to spend time with. At times Nolan felt like that one annoying kid that rambunctiously popped out of nowhere... a lot of the people he talked to were nice, but frequently strangers would raise a brow and nervously laugh as though Nolan's energy was too much for them. Whenever this happened it sort of killed his mood but he tried not to let it get to him. Luckily, the second half of Fall went a little easier for him and he got himself a nice new group of friends. Making friends always made him feel happy and he hoped his lucky streak hadn't worn off quite yet.

The final night of autumn came and Nolan, being in a good mood and being unable to sleep, wanted to welcome winter properly. He put on a yellow coat with a kitty ears and headed out of the Inn, planning on going somewhere that he didn't visit often. His mother noticed her son wearing the same two coats all the time and decided on giving him an early Christmas present. Though Nolan found it annoying whenever his mother nagged him about things, he secretly liked the new gift and decided he'd start wearing it until she got tired of that one too and bought a new one-- hey, it was a smart way of getting free clothes! Leaving Saffron Town, Nolan was on a mission as he traveled on up to the highest point of the island.

Koseret Mountains is what they called it. The perfect place to view the moon and rumored to have a rare bird that no one ever captured a picture of and may have not even existed. The hike wasn't too bad for the young folks and he liked the extra exercise. Once reaching the top, it suddenly felt cooler and Nolan could see his breath. The moon was huge, making Nolan's eyes widen in awe before grinning ear to ear. He stepped closer towards the edge before looking down at the watch around his wrist, seeing that it was 10 minutes until midnight, and thus the beginning of winter. To celebrate the new season and wish goodbye to the current, Nolan wanted to come here. It was just a simple idea that came to mind that he thought was different and could be a special memory.

"Beautiful isn't it?" a cheerful voice broke the silence, a childish giggle soon following. A young woman sat upon the ground a few feet away, so quiet that one would hardly even think she was there if she hadn't said something. A smile lit up her face even more than any moonlight could, emerald eyes glimmering in the light.

In the dark it would be hard to notice anything wrong with her, nor did it seem to mark exactly she was out in the mountains all alone in the middle of the night. At least, until the small canvas settled in front of her was noticed. Swirls of colors shift and change all upon the page, taking form of a colorful moon and scene yet morphed in such an interesting way it would be hard to really explain to anyone just what the girl was feeling aside from utter bliss.

((Sorry it's So Short ;~; ))

Season: Fall (soon Winter) l Time: Ten 'till Midnight l Tag: Tsula l Notes: I'm sorry for taking awhile on responding!

After Nolan had checked his watch he lowered his wrist and briefly glanced around for a place to sit. There were some smooth, flat boulders that looked best compared to sitting on the ground or just standing around. Before he went to sit down a cheerful voice had broken through the silence and Nolan tilted his head up with a pair of curious eyes looking forward to see where the voice had spoken from. It wasn't a scary voice, more so youthful sounding like a happy young girl, so Nolan wasn't at all scared by it. He just didn't think there'd be anyone else out at this time or at this place so hearing that there was another person in this location was somewhat puzzling to him.

Sitting upon the ground was a young woman with a head of red hair. Nolan didn't see anything different about her appearance because of lightning and to him, she looked like an average person. He gave a wide, amused smile before walking closer to her though still leaving some space. "Yeah, it is! The moon looks huge up here like you can reach up and touch it." He answered in a spirited tone of voice before laughing a little, honestly not expecting to have any company up here at all. What were the chances of this happening? "I had no idea there was anyone else here!" Nolan admitted as his eyes remained focused down at the young woman, "Are you here to have a better view of the sky?"

She beamed brightly, the man seeming friendly enough. "I didn't expect anyone to come up here either! And, yes that is one reason~ I'm painting!" she grinned, nodding towards her canvas before turning her gaze back to him. "Not that i mind the company at all! It's nice! Not many seem to talk to me much. Grandma says that everyone will warm up to me one day but I'm not so sure. I don't mind though! I have adventures to go on and awesome places to explore and pain!"

She paused, realizing she was talking a bit much before shrugging and giving another smile. "You can sit with me if you want! What is your name? I'm Miku Wakahisa, Nice Ta Meetchya!" she beamed, ending it another bubbly giggle. She really did love trying to make friends, and by this mans reaction he hadn't even noticed her arms! Or.. lack thereof. Maybe he wont get all weirded out!

Upon hearing that the woman was working on a painting, Nolan stood on his tippy toes to get a better look and saw the canvas that she was working on. "You're an artist? Cool!" He didn't know anyone who painted, or at least were that good at it. His brother liked painting but it was sort of basic for his age of 12. "It looks really good so far! Koseret Mountains is the best place to go if you're looking for a spot where the moon's clearest." He added in a complimentary, supporting tone and nodded as the girl continued speaking. While she spoke, Nolan's eyes scanned the painting some more before it dawned on him that she was using her... feet, to paint. That was a little odd but that meant she must have been really good with using her feet for stuff! Nolan couldn't use his feet for anything.

Nolan sat down beside the girl who introduced herself as Miku. The giggle made him smile even more, almost wanting to laugh too. Something about her giggle was contagious. "I'm Nolan Rivers! Nice to meet you, too~" He answered, not noticing the lack of the girl's arms still, assuming that there were sleeves over them and with the lighting, he wouldn't realize it easily. "Winter is coming any minute now! I came up here to formerly say goodbye to Fall." Nolan explained since Miku didn't know why he was here-- probably would have assumed he just wanted some fresh air. "I guess we get to meet Winter together, huh?" Pulling a knee up to his chest, Nolan hugged one arm around it as he gazed at the girl beside him.

"You're an artist? Cool!"

This made her smile.

"It looks really good so far! Koseret Mountains is the best place to go if you're looking for a spot where the moon's clearest."

This made her smile all the more. "Thank you! And I would have to agree! It's so big and glow-y and amazing! It was a little harder to set up here on the uneven ground but it was definitely worth it!"

Her bright yes turned to look at him as he continued to talk, a small smile upon her face the entire time.

"I guess we get to meet Winter together, huh?"

She grinned and gave an enthusiastic nod. "What a perfect way to spend time with someone you've just met! Experiencing something wonderful together~" she giggled once again, reaching out with one o her feet to take a clean rage and, quite expertly, rubs the paint from both of her feet with it. Setting it aside she turned her gaze back to the sky at the perfect time for something to catch her attention. Her face lit up as she jut her arm out to point at a flash of light shoot across the sky. "Oh! A shooting star!!" she cheered, lifting both arms up in a mock cheering manner yet... there was nothing but stubs lifted, hidden away by long sleeves that dangled.

Season: Fall (soon Winter) l Time: Ten 'till Midnight l Tag: Tsula l Notes: --

His smile warming, Nolan was happy to hear that Miku also found the moment to be special. Going out of your way to travel all the way up to these mountains just to greet the new season at midnight was special enough, but he found it even more of a treasuring moment now that he ran into someone, especially a friendly girl. Nolan always liked keeping memories of simple but cheerful moments such as these and tried focusing the most on those rather than any of his depressing memories, though they were rather few considering Nolan had lived a simple, energetic life so far. "Of course! I have a feeling we're the only ones who even thought of doing this!" He chirped, feeling quite confident and pleased with his decision coming up here. The fact that they were the only two made them seem unique but in a good way.

Nolan saw Miku's arms lift up to point towards a star shooting across the sky, something that he didn't get to see very often, and with how high up they were it looked the slightest closer. His eyes quickly looked up when she pointed it out but he could have swore it looked like part of her arm was missing. Nolan glanced down a bit again but knowing that the star would soon disappear, he wanted to make a wish first. "Woah, how cool! Make a wish, Miku!" He closed his eyes with a smile, silently thinking up of something. A few moments of silence passed before opening his eyes and giving the girl a broad smile, "Did you make your wish? Don't tell me what it is, though, or it won't come true!" Nolan's eyes couldn't help but to shift down a little lower towards the girl's arms, now realizing that there was something off about them and being a bit confused but not wanting to be rude by asking about it. He may have been a dork but he knew there were certain things that might hurt people's feelings if he actually brought them up...
