A Winter evening with Amber, Sweet, & Seamus

Notes: THY SHRIMP AND EVAMUS?

Feeling rather guilty for the girl, she couldn't help but feel her heart drop the slightest for her, forcing a tiny smile to try and encourage her to find out by asking others, that idea sounded slightly dangerous with how some people were more dangerous then they looked. Of course she could probably think the same thing with Evangeline, even though she looked innocent, and to some people, cute? She could be some sort of weird murderer, though she wa-wasn't at all! But she didn't recognize her that much, Evangeline had a good memory, though Aries thought otherwise and teased her about having short term memory, she didn't believe her since she remembered more stuff then Aries did. She hoped she found the answer to her question though. Evangeline didn't expect anybody else to come near her but the young lady who had been curious for whatever reason, but she had yet to find out who else she would meet. ”Um… Hello girls!

Turning her head in the direction of the voice, she hadn't expected for the person to head towards the tiny group, though it was just her and the young lady, but then she saw the guy walking towards them. A smile formed on her face as she held her notepad tightly against her chest like a prized possession, which it sort of was at times since she needed it if anyone wanted to talk to her, using her free hand she waved at him slightly, her sleeve sort of playing around in the wind but, amazingly, didn't fall down and stayed over her thumbs. Her cheeks lightly tinted as she looked at him, he was sort of.. c-cute.. Turning a little brighter as she thought about it, she felt even more embarrassed about her own thoughts on the guy she didn't even know. Another sound approached quickly and Evangeline nearly jumped backwards onto her bottom at the sight of the girl being picked up, the voice loud and teasing in a way as her eyes widened slightly. She didn't really know the woman was actually the 'man' who had decided to threaten her with a gun, and she didn't know who she was either.

Staring at the two, she assumed instantly that the two were family without thinking she was kidnapping her, the woman acted friendly in a way, though she was oblivious to last night though the fear was still lingering in her and she couldn't help but show it to everyone even though she forced a smile on her face, lightly inching towards the guy as of an act in support, she quietly took a step behind him like she expected a sudden fight between the girl and older lady. Peering over his side however, she watched the two. Even though she didn't know him, she was a bit.. shy? Well, taking her hiding spot behind a guy didn't help that she found rather attractive, though she only thought an appearance was a beginning, she did enjoy a nice personality.. W-Wait, what was she e-even thinking about!?

A Winter evening with Mail

Notes: CAN YOU FEEL, THE LOVE TONIGHTTTTT

A day at the festival with Mail, nothing sounded better then that to Valshe. Even though most days with Mail almost had some sort of hint in drama or something bad happening, which was most likely some sort of bad luck, majorly, but what could go wrong at the Winter Thanksgiving festival? All he knew was he was going to have fun with Mail who was joining the party, and most likely they would be the only two together unless one of Mail's friends joined him, Valshe didn't know if anyone he knew would show up which was a relief, of course his boss would probably be here with some random dude, but she wasn't the type to bother Valshe when they weren't working. Unless he decided to accidentally hit her with something? Whatever, he didn't care. Tilting his head a bit at Mail at his muttered words, he didn't really understand what he meant and instantly felt stupid, though he quickly added something and only confused Valshe even more, his exhausted brain literally sizzling now. Smiling softly before rubbing the back of his neck, which was a really horrible habit he had whenever he was tired or just woke up especially. "You sound like a train wreck." he giggled lightly, not knowing that was going to be more of an insult then it was a compliment, but he would regret it later and most likely blame his exhaustion, because it was his exhaustion's fault.

Staring at the cute yet dorky smile on his face, he couldn't help but smile like a dork also and lightly felt his cheeks tint, he couldn't help himself. Even though he still had a lot to learn about the guy, he couldn't help but feel fluttery and funny around him. He was just to cute, and the face didn't help. He wasn't even regretting thinking of this, even though it would be weird. Thank god Mail couldn't read minds or something, or he would of ran away days ago. It felt so weird to actually hold him, even if it was just the wrist, he just didn't feel like losing him now. "Food does sound good." he said slowly, his stomach agreeing with him as it lightly rumbled but not that loud, he hoped at least. Rubbing the back of his head with his unused hand, a dorky smile spread across his face as he let out a tiny yawn yet again, feeling rather rude.

Looking at the table that seemed so far, even though it wasn't really that far but sort of packed by a few people, he smirked for no reason. Even though there were only two options of what the two could do at the festival, it was nice to see Mail still sticking around with him, even if he was only doing it since he didn't know anyone else here. Following him a bit as he began walking towards it, he quickly smiled as always, even though he was a bit tired he didn't want to seem like he needed to be dragged around. "Sounds fine, as long as you're there." he stated softly, walking the same pace as Mail now so he wasn't being dragged or dragging him, he still felt the tiny tint of red in his cheeks, though it was weird to be 'blushing' when all he was doing was making sure he didn't look Mail in the crowd of people. Instantly removing the space between the two guys, he took a step closer to him which instantly made the two brushing arms against each other, for the sake of staying together that was. It was either lose Mail or stay really close. Even though he was in his personal space, well he had been in his personal space for awhile now, he didn't think much about it since Mail would of pulled away if he was uncomfortable.

Chuckling softly, she shook her head slightly as her pink hair lightly followed, though it wasn't wild enough to suddenly get into the food or people would yell at her and she would be embarrassed as ever, but she was not here to care about people's opinion on her, she was here to find her daughter and that was all! She didn't mind if people hated her or loved her, because if her daughter wasn't here, she was not going to stay here either. Softly giggling, her free hand going over her mouth to keep herself slightly under the proper category, she tried to be elegant though it didn't always work as her laughs usually could turn a bit to bad in a result. "Don't worry, I'm perfectly happy." she smiled softly, bringing both her hands in front of her and holding them together as she looked at the girl happily. It was nice to meet someone, she just hoped she didn't get attached to anyone to quickly.

Her smile just grew more and more, giggling yet again softly, she nodded her head slightly since she was fine with just Lux. Being raised the way she was, she always thought it was proper to call them by their surname, at least that's how she always was but she didn't seem to mind. "Don't worry about calling me Miss Whitlock, you can call me Perse or Persephone." she smiled softly, taking her hand and lightly shaking it.

Nolan greeted Ze with the usually cheeriness he now associate with the blond; Nolan stepped closer to him with happy smile, and nearly spilling his plate on Ze. The tanned man gave a small chuckle. He found this joyful attitude of Nolan, a little endearing and pretty cute. ”Nice to see you too again, Blondie~” He gave a teasing smile, ”Good thing that you didn’t then. I would have asked if spilling food on others was some formal type of greeting.”He was referring to the first time the two met- though, getting food spilled on him was quite different than throwing a bag full of candy bars. Ze took another sip of his wine, ”Nice to meet you, Miss Amora~” Though the greeting was formal, it was said in a casual manner; it was another habit he had when he addressed women, one that was installed into his head thanks ,once again, to his mother.

”Nope. All alone today~” he shrugged, since that wasn’t a huge surprise; lately, he feels that he been making more enemies than friends. Especially since he’s recent a counter with that girl at the hot springs. He laughed, ”I’m fine with that as long as you are~! Lead the way, fine sir.” As he talked, he idly took frequent sips from glass of wine, it finishing pretty quickly. Huh? Well that sucked. Looks like its second cup of wine time~

Ze frowned at his cup in disappointment. Maybe he should stop now that he has a chance…

Yeah right…

He gave the blondes an apologetic smile, ”Um, you guys could go head, I’ll catch up. Just goanna get a refill of my drink first, okay?”He turned, heading for the drink section once again.

He grinned. Seamus sometimes surprised himself; his greeting was obviously awkward, and the last thing you need when you’re trying to flirt to make friends, was to be awkward. If he could, he would have been giggling like a little schoolgirl right then, seeing the smile on the girl’s face; but the day he starts doing that, then he would be kissing his dating life good-bye. And since Seamus was Seamus, that would never happen. Especially if there girls that look like the adorable brunette on this Island.

He stared at her, waiting for a reply; the girl waved, not really returning his greeting verbal. Huh? Was the girl shy or something? She looked like the type, that’s was for sure. He chuckled mentally when he notice her blush and was about to comment about it, but then he was reminded they weren’t really alone. He shook his head and gave a smile (albeit annoyed) smile. He forgot that a kid was with them; he glanced down at blond hair child, ”Nope. I doubt I know anyone on the island, to tell the truth.”He chuckled a little, ”Hmm, yo kid, are you lost or something? Where’s your Mama-“ And yet, another person interrupted him. This time, in a form of another cute girl…well she would have been cute if she wasn’t scowling. The girl threw her arms around the kid, assuming her relative or close friend of the kid. The way she addressed the girl affection (annoyed yet there was a hint of affection), so it was obvious that they were connected in some way.

He raised an eyebrow when the shy brunette stepped behind him, nervously peering from behind; he wasn’t complaining really, but she seem to be sort…hiding, from the other brunette. Did they know each other? He gave a small shrug, and turned away from the kid and her possible-relative or friend, his attention once again on the quiet girl. ”Well, hey Cutie~! What’s your name? Mine’s Seamus-”he gave a small, flirtatious smile and stuck out his hand out to shake ”But you can call me anything you want~” He knew that he was coming on a little strong, but he didn’t really want this chance to go to waste. Beside- don’t they always said that girls like a confident man?

Hearing the young woman saying that she was alright it relieved Lux, she really thought she was aggravating the young woman’s health but she wasn’t and that was a good thing, a very good thing. Lux smiled at the woman happily that Miss Whitlock was such a nice person and didn’t mind Lux being slightly weird.

Lux kept smiling at Persephone, she was a nice person, at least she seemed that way. ”Okay, Perse it is.” Lux said as she stared at the young woman still smiling. ”Are you new to the island? I arrived a few days ago.”

Amora watched quietly at the two boys, they knew eachother and Amora wasn’t going to butt into their conversation so she decided to take a step back as she held her plate, seeing that they were talking she looked around for a place where she can seat and eat what she had on her plate, she spotted one but it would be hard to eat there, so looking for another place the young girl stood there half hearing them while distracted with her search.

Her attention was drawn back to the new young man who Amora didn’t catch his name when Nolan said it but then again she wasn’t sure if he mentioned the new man’s name or not, he greeted her and she looked at him with a sheepishly smile ”Just Amora or Mora is fine; pleased to meet you.” She stared at the young man before looking at Nolan when he mentioned they should get a table, Amora nodded ” I doubt I’ll see anyone familiar so I’m good with it.” she looked at her plate again, she really was hungry.

Chelsi & Terri tag: Yuffie

"I heard of a mermaid who lived in the rivers but haven't met her yet! Do you think she's still there? Ooooo, we should totally go see sometime! I bet it'd be really fun!" Yuffie excitedly answered them not showing any hesitance to share what she knew to herself. Terri and Chelsi couldn't help smiling at each other. It was like the jackpot bells started going off. Chelsi gave the little girl a thumbs up, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained! I'll set off with you for adventure any time lass!" Terri nodded in agreement. He just only hoped he would be well enough when the time came around, to go on this adventure.

"Maybe another time! Tonight, we have alllllllll this yum-yum food on the table~" Terri and Chelsi looked over to the piles of food set up. Chesli vigorously nodded, he wasn't going to pass up a free meal! "BWHA HA Quite right young lass! There's always time for adventure, but who knows the next time we can sit down for a meal has nice has this!"

Terri looked back to Yuffie who this time, asked something of them. "Looks like that's all the folks coming! Do you fellows want to sit with me? Pleeeeease, I don't have anyone else to sit with, my table is completely open!" Terri smiled warmly, "I don't know about Chelsi, but I would be glad to. With your liveliness, I'm sure you'll be the light of the party." Terri chuckled. The girl was certainly bubbly and encouraging, he was sure any table with her would be merry. Chelsi ruffled Terri's hair, which was hard to do considering the mess it was always in. "Hey hey hey! Don't count me out! Your my drinking buddy for the night!" Chelsi gave Yuffie a big grin, "Your table, will be our table has long has it's offered." Chelsi gave a little bow with his silly acts of politeness.

Amber & Sweet tag: Evan & Seamus

Amber looked up at Sweet surprised and blinking. She came chasing after her? It was actually hard to believe. When Amber first joined the crew, Sweet didn't like her very much. Terri said she was weary of all new members. Sweet didn't growl has much at her anymore, but she was still the last person Amber thought would come to look after her. She thought Chelsi or Terri was much more likely! They played with her all the time! "I'm just looking for people that might of seen me." Amber answered honestly for fear of receiving Sweet's brut punishment later.

Sweet blinked looking at Amber confused. It didn't take long for her to realize what Amber meant though. Sweet looked up to see who Amber had been talking to. There was a girl... the kind that looked so sweet and innocent it pissed her off! Might of been cause she herself used to be like that. That was along time ago though, she was so glad she grew out of that! Then there was a guy. Sweet couldn't help think he was a cutie. He was just her type, slim but got enough muscle to tell he aint no weak joke. And those blue eyes, that was defiantly a trait that made Sweet swoon.... LIKE SHE CARED! From what Sweet could see, romance was horrible! Every couple she'd seen was so clingy and dramatic and seemed emotionally draining to keep up with. Sweet shook her head regretting even stoping to think of a possibility of romance. Outsiders should just be faces in the crowd. Besides, being a pirate, her choices for a mate were low. Outsiders weren't the best lovers. At least that's what she'd been told.

Both of the people Amber had approached seemed to have very little interest in Amber, so she could guess they knew nothing about her. Sweet sighed and ruffled the kid's hair. "Shrimp, there's no guarantee you were ever even on this island." She didn't know of Amber's returning memories though. "Don't worry, the medic said memories return to people all the time and the weirdest things can bring them back." Sweet didn't pay attention to much to the doc when they first got Amber checked out, but the doc convinced her enough that Amber's memories were at that point gone. She really didn't know what to tell the kid.

Amber really hadn't been listening to Sweet with the tasty performance going on in front of them. The entertainment made her eyes sparkle. "OH MY GODDESS!!! Sweet, is he flirting with her?!" The thought might of excited Amber a little to much. On a boat all of the time with only two girl, Amber and Sweet, she didn't usually have the pleasure of such a scene being acted out in front of her~ Sure the pirates would inthrill her with stories of romantic nights they shared with some unbelievably gorgeous woman on the shore, but it wasn't the same has WATCHING someone try to court someone.

Sweet blushed at Amber's straight forward questioning. "H-ow should I know." Sweet was determined to walk away even if she had to carry Amber with her, but the little shrimp wiggled out from her grasp. "Hey hey! Do you think she's cute? Was it love at first sight?!" Amber jumped around the two jittery with excitement. "How do you plan to sweep h-" Sweet covered Amber's mouth. She was so red, she was sure she was more embarrassed than the two Amber was questioning. "....sorry," Sweet barley uttered. Sweet reaaaaally wanted to get out of there. Amber had different plans though.

Her face stayed a bright red as she didn't know how to react at all, there was so much going on right now but nobody was looking at her-- yet. Hiding safely behind the guy was probably not a good idea, considering she was shy and in no way was she the type to be able to defend herself. She was so useless compared to everyone else, everyone could defend themselves and she was depending on her best friend all the time, even though it was usually Aries doing it by her own choice. The young man instantly turned towards her and she felt her face lightly brighten, she was expecting a different sort of action or him to walk away since he didn't know her. Instead, he turned towards her and began to talk to her and introduce himself. Feeling herself shyly smiling, slightly nervous also as she heard her nickname of the moment, only to feel her cheeks brighten even more.

With her free hand, she grabbed his hand but avoided eye contact, being an official dweeb. Lightly shaking it, not so much that she accidentally tossed him over her head which was defiantly not possible with how tall he was, he was practically as tall as Aries. Which most likely meant he was a ton stronger then her in many ways. After a few seconds, she pulled her hand away and began writing on her notepad, it was rude not to introduce herself wasn't it? [My names Evangeline, you can call me Evan though.] finally looking up at him, looking him directly in his blue orbs, she felt her heart racing and own face turning slightly red, god.. why was she so shy? Bringing the notepad up so he could see it, she instantly heard the kid and her face turned even brighter with shock as she looked over at the kid.

The kid instantly ran to the two and asked questions, the excitement could be seen all over her, if that would fit her description. Evan forced a smile on her face as she turned crimson, unable to turn any brighter. Her whole face was a bright crimson that she was literally glowing, her eyes widened at the girl as she looked up at Seamus, was he even comfortable about this? He must've been embarrassed, being thought to like someone like Evangeline. What kind of fairy tale was that? Slightly lowering her head as she felt her scarf in the way, slightly covering her mouth and half her cheeks, though it didn't hide her blush as all since it was her whole face was red, it was like all the blood in her body decided to run to her face to embarrass the crap out of her. Parts of her brown hair began to go over her shoulders as her notepad was pressed against her chest once more, this time both arms covered across her chest and she was shaking a bit, she was over reacting so bad.

Softening her smile as she nodded once more, she fine with being called Perse since it was her common nickname for people, people sometimes had trouble with her name and pronounced it different ways though she didn't judge them and let them call her however they wanted when it was her full name. "I am new actually, I came to the island not to long ago." she admitted with a soft smile, seeing she was also new the question most likely wouldn't be one to ask her, if her daughter was on the island there could be a possibility someone who has lived her for six years know of her. "But I don't know how long I will stay here." she added once more, losing the smile with a rather serious expression. "I'm here because I'm trying to find my daughter." a little bit of hurt was in her tone as she said it, lightly trying to hide it with a soft smile. "I've been looking for her for six years now."

Sighing quietly to herself as she finally replaced her feelings for a really large smile, she didn't want to spend the festival alone and Lux seemed like a really fun person to hang out with. "Would you like to eat with me?" she asked calmly, even if she said no that was fine with her since she did ask anyways, it was better to ask then not ask and make her eat all alone. She'd feel terrible!

She shook his hand gently, and avoided his gaze, her cheeks stained with red; Seamus found it kinda cute- actually really cute- that she was blushing , and his own cheeks heat up a little. He wasn’t new to the world of flirting and the like; heck, he had his fair share of girlfriends back in the city. Though those girls were the wild, vulgar type- the gang-member’s girlfriend type; so they really didn’t mean that much to him, if he breaks up with them or not. Most times, they lasted up to a couple of months, then he moves on to another; none of them were ever serious, and none of them could make him blush. Now, without even saying anything, this cute brunette for manage to do what many failed at.

“Hmmm, that’s a pretty name. Fits you perfectly.”He said smoothly, with a smile this time. Evangeline- he liked the sound of it; innocent and sweet sounding, which seem to fit the girl perfectly. She looked up, her chestnut eyes finally making contact with his; that was when he felt it. Bum-bum. What in God’s name, was that?! It felt like as if… wait-did his heart really skip a beat? That gotta be a fluke. His heart never skipped a beat for a girl, so…

He didn’t dwell on it. Thanks to the kid, her questions were distracting him from his thoughts. ”Actually, yes I think she’s pretty cute~” He gave Evan a wink and a playfully tussled her hair, a smooth grin on his face. But the grin quickly dropped off, and his cheeks flushed. ”I w-wouldn’t say that!”If someone asked question with a different girl, he would have quickly answer with an annoyed reply, but he would be lying if he said that he didn’t find the girl attractive. He gave blinked, when the other girl covered the kid’s mouth and gave an apology. ”Meh, no harm, no foul!”He grinned, waving it off already. He then gave a polite smile, ”Well, it be rude if I didn’t introduce myself. My name is Seamus! What’s yours?”
