I actually learned a little Japanese via Rosetta Stone. Probably about the equivalent of a half semester. I know my real name isn't nearly as fun to say as these names. happy.gif

This thing is really nifty! <3

Cool Nugget of Info from Chica in Japanese Classes:
Basically what this thing does is take your English names, guess at the pronunciation, and then apply it to the Japanese syllables. All Western-style names would be written in Katakana. Japanese names are normally written in Kanji and Hiragana. Romaji, which is what we are seeing here, is simply just the Japanese syllables translated into the Roman alphabet for pronunciation purposes. So if you say the name aloud and it doesn't sound right, chances are it guessed the pronunciation incorrectly. If you want your names to be accurate, double check on that.

Some of these were incorrect by assuming the wrong pronunciation, so I fixed them. XD For instance, instead of lengthining vowel sounds with "-" they simply put the extra vowel, which is incorrect.

Just thought you all would like to know so you can show off your awesome names and such. >:3

Victoria Stone-O'Brian - Vikkutooya Suton-Oburian // ヴィックトーヤ • ストーンオブリアン
