A cold Winter Morning with Mail & Dakota

Moonbay watched in utter shock as the man fell back, her feelings instantly showed across her face as she felt disgusted in herself. "A-are you okay!?" she quickly asked, both her hands over her unbeating heart in the slightest worry, but in a swift movement she saw him run towards her and her face instantly widened in shock as if she feared he was literally going to kill her. Though it still wasn't possible, she was dead, and it was impossible to hit a ghost because of their state. She looked like any other human being, but it was obvious after the first attempt she could not be touched, but this young man wouldn't believe it. His hand instantly went through her face, making her face feel slightly warm and fuzzy as he did so. When people tried to touch her, it gave a different feeling than and object would, because they where alive. Shivering, she stepped backwards to give a little distance between the two, her smile was slightly shaking as she forced it on her face. "I don't know if trying over and over again will really work." a tiny giggle left her mouth as she looked at him, he hadn't really freaked out yet but he did look confused, making her feel a little relieved, as if he wasn't going to panic and suddenly run away, though it might happen soon.

Taking rather deep breathes as he tried to calm down his 'insane' laughter, his snow angel only getting slightly larger as her pushed his arms and legs in rhythm to make it, it was amazingly fun even if it wasn't a snowball fun, and he was doing it alone-- not for long that was as he was soon accompanied by the attacker from the other team, as he began making a snow angel beside him. Once he stood up, Valshe looked at him with a soft smile, he heard the laughs and looked at his pointed finger, only to stand up and stand beside him to look at the comparison of the two snow angels. Seeing what was so funny, his laughter only continued, and a bit louder than before as he felt like he was going to die from all his laughter as he looked at the snow angels, His was so big compared to the smaller ones angel, making it seem almost unbelievable. "That's.. Funny." he fought to say it through laughter, almost falling backwards into the snow once more. His mind was lingered against how hilarious the snow angels seemed to be, that he hadn't even noticed the commotion between the woman and Mail back yonder.

Season: Winter l Time: Morning l Tag: Valshe/Moonbay l Notes: --

Mail was frozen in place, unable to move, almost unable to breath... he was completely still. How could his hand go through her face... how. could. it. That wasn't supposed to happen! Not in a million years! Not ever! His heart felt like it was slowly sinking to his stomach, the pulsing getting stronger and feeling sick inside. Mail didn't believe in ghosts, elves, fairies, or... anything, really. He didn't even have any kind of religion. So, for this to happen, was truly just psychotic to him. The woman stepped back, his hand remaining where it was before she moved, though it began to shake. The shaking went from his hand all the way down to his feet before feeling his teeth clench. "You're... a... ghost...?" He asked slowly, talking through his teeth as his curious expression gradually transitioned into frightened. This... couldn't be real! It just couldn't! But... she was standing right here, and pelted him with snowballs... and.... called him here. "A ghost is haunting me. That's just..." Mail murmured, laughing nervously before turning around to run away but moving so fast, he tripped over his ankle and ended up hurtling down the slight slope in the field. Yelping, he rolled down the medium-length slope until reaching the second bottom flat stretch of field. Except... right at the bottom of the slope were some flat boulders, looking to be a natural part of the land that had been there for ages, and Mail rolled right onto them.

As he rolled, he saw the blurry vision of black rocks, and tried clawing his gloves into the ground to stop his body from rolling to the bottom but with gravity and pressure going against him, it was nearly impossible. Seeing that he was pretty much doomed, he quickly hugged his arms around his head to protect it before hurling right into the rocks. The sudden feeling of being smacked into such a hard object at that speed felt horrible. Mail couldn't think of anything else that felt as painful and his head, despite covering it with his arms, felt so numb and rattled. The moment his body made impact, he felt his ankle twist and one of his arms shielding his head nearly shatter in the upper region from hitting a rough edge of the rock. Mail couldn't help but to scream out from the pain, a tear rolling down his cheek right before closing both eyes.

Soon, Valshe started to laugh about the hilarious difference in snow angels as well, only making Dakota laugh a little more before happily smiling at the man. It was good to see that there weren't any hard feelings about the snowball fight... because obviously, the white-haired man got pretty upset by the accident of getting hit in the head by a snowball. Turning to face Valshe, before Dakota could really do anything else, he saw Mail from the corner of his eye trip over a slope in the field and his eyes widened. However, the field where they stood was so flat... he doubted that the fall would be that big. Still, Dakota nervously began his way over. It wasn't until he heard the scream when he knew something was wrong and somewhat sped up...

Notes: MAILLLLLYYYYY
Moonbay saw the 'fear' on his face, her feelings slightly shattering as she had felt okay around them, they had been calm but it changed when he decided to try and hit her, but it hadn't worked. Her head slightly went up and down to signify yes, her smile faded as she gave off a rather concerned look at him, feeling slightly worried. The next words left his mouth and a laugh after it, making her slightly edge forward but stopped. "I-I'm not haunting anyone." she said rather quietly, but right as the words left her mouth she caught him turn around only to trip down the slope, her eyes literally widened to the largest size possible as she covered her mouth. She almost edged down there with him, but there was a problem. He was frightened of her and most likely thought of her as a monster, there was also now way for her to help him because of her state, even if she forced herself to be able to hold him and carry him away, there was a possibility that wouldn't work since she didn't have strong feelings for the man, if her heart was beating she would've been panicking to the point she passed out, she watched the body roll down the hill a bit shamefully, it was all her fault. A scream was delivered and she closed her eyes before turning away, as if some gruesome scene was going on, the feeling of wanting to cry came in her whole body, it would've been possible but she didn't want to be known as a sad ghost, even if she was most likely going to be lectured for not helping the man.

Laughing was always a good medicine, he stared at the snow angels a little longer before he looked at the brown head who seemed rather shocked, following his gaze to the slope where the rather strange figure stood, the one who seemed to cause illusions or something stood, turned away which quickly made him think something really bad happened. Seconds later, a loud scream was delivered and he didn't walk or speed walk, he literally ran towards the slope. As he got closer, his breathe growing loud as he began to get tired of running and moving period, but this was one of those times it didn't matter and he had to push it. Passing by the lady, he gave a slightly angry glare at her, wondering why the hell she wasn't doing anything or why she hadn't called for them. Slowing down as he looked down the slope towards the figure who was now smashed against what seemed like a sea of rather large rocks, his heart sunk as he didn't think and began to run down the slope to him.

His feet dug into the snow as he quickly stopped himself before he suddenly ran into Mail, causing him even more pain. The reaction of how frightened the woman looked was pretty frightening to Valshe, but that was probably because he looked so small and fragile that he most likely could break in two from this. His arms were out to the side of him, as if trying to keep him balance as he reached the flatter slope where his body was lying shattered, it was a miracle he hadn't tripped and landed face first onto Mail or onto one of the rocks and cracked his head open. Literally breathless, and knelt beside Mail's head and took a rather deep breathe himself. "You really are.. troublesome." his voice sounded rather calmly, though it was obvious he was probably teasing him at the wrong time as he stared at him. Since he had literally ran into a rock, it was obvious he was most likely hurt and it was best not to touch him until he found out exactly how he had gotten hurt, or where it hurt. "Where are you hurting?" he asked slowly, slightly going from one sentence to another with or without an answer.

Season: Winter l Time: Morning l Tag: Valshe/Moonbay l Notes: Valshe Charming coming to the rescue of Mapunzel~ Awwww.

Immediately, Valshe began running over to where the slope was and Dakota couldn't even keep up with how fast he was moving. The man didn't even start off walking then move into a run-- he just bolted. From how Valshe reacted, it only made Dakota even more worried and once Valshe went past him in a blur, Dakota tried to speed up as well. If something bad happened, he wanted to do what he could, despite not really knowing either of these men. He didn't want to sit back and not help, or let something bad happen. He was surprised to see Valshe run down the slope and stood at the top, looking down to see the two men near the rocks. There were several heavy boulders and seeing Mail laying helplessly made it easy to connect the dots. Dakota's eyes widened and he clasped a hand over his mouth, feeling more guilty than ever. How did the man get himself all the way down there? If he rolled down, then it must have really hurt... Dakota hoped no one was hurt, and turned to face Moonbay in concern, silently asking her what had happened. He doubted she shoved him down since he could tell she wasn't that kind of person, but wondered how the man got himself all the way down there... did he just trip or something?

Mail had tried to somewhat budge but felt a sharp pain in his shoulder and could feel the horrible tension in his ankle, the skin around there already starting to swell up and color in a bruising shade. Why did he have to choose to trip over his own feet then? Now, because of his panicking, he got himself into this mess... just wonderful. Did he even need to list all of the things going wrong lately? Having a sprained ankle and broken arm to add onto it... good god. In shame, Mail sniffled and rested his head back against one of the boulders the fall had so lovingly threw him onto. He felt like no one was going to come and help him, having fun on their own without him... just as always, he'd be forgotten about and have to figure out his own problem all on his own. Unfortunately, Mail didn't know how he could do it. With a sprained ankle and broken arm, it was going to be extremely hard to even stand up. He didn't even want to get up... he didn't have the strength or energy to. Mail knew it was going to hurt like hell and... well, would anyone even care if he got back up or not?

His self-doubting thoughts were defeated by the sudden sound of approaching footsteps sliding down the slope. Mail opened his eyes, helplessly looking up to see Valshe coming towards him... and immediately, he felt butterflies flutter in his stomach. Did this man seriously just run down a slope for him? He... he couldn't believe how stupid that was! But... it was so sweet, too... Valshe seriously risked getting himself hurt, to come down to Mail's side. Here he was, thinking no one would even hear his scream or come to see him, and... Valshe came, proving him wrong. Why this guy so strange? Blushing at Valshe's words, he somewhat glared to the side, trying to hide the surprise and shyness he felt from the man kneeling beside him. "Maybe I should stamp 'Troublesome' on my forehead." He mumbled, sounding a bit bitter but mostly from the aching all around in his body and the beating soreness in his ankle. By now, Mail's arm felt very stuff and numb... it was really his ankle giving him the most discomfort.

"I'm fine, just...." Mail stammered, trying not to seem too weak. He didn't want to depend so heavily on Valshe... he was used to relying on himself and himself only. What if Valshe didn't like him anymore because he was always hurting himself and having Valshe help him? Mail... didn't want to lose Valshe, but... if he was just some stranger, as Mail tried convincing himself so much, then why did he care so much about what he thought of him? Did that make Valshe a friend? But... Mail wasn't good at making friends. Valshe would never want someone like him as a friend, anyway... Valshe deserved better. Gazing up at Valshe, his glare lightened as he felt the butterflies continue their tickling feeling inside of him. "You could have hurt yourself... dork." Mail scolded softly as he tried sitting up, only to find his arm nearly snap at him, causing him to pause and groan in pain, "I-I think my arm is broken..." The fall hit Mail pretty hard and while he was upset about it, he felt almost more relieved that Valshe didn't get himself into a similar position. The thought of how Valshe was alright, and his kindness, made Mail feel... warmed at heart.

Notes: Y U ALWAYS GET HURT
He felt himself almost panicking in his head, thoughts roaming everywhere as he felt panicked about this whole situation. Here he was, knelt beside the man and about to cry all over his face, thank god he was naturally calm or he might of been able to tell he was about to suddenly cry all over him, it was rather heart breaking to see him in this position. If he could of, he would've already picked him up and ran back up the slope, but he didn't want to pain Mail as he could be hurting anywhere and if he wasn't careful, he would only get in pain even more. Forcing a soft smile on his face despite this situation making him want to frown in a more sad way, his fingers dug into the snow, not really minding the bitter cold feeling her got in his finger tips as they turned bright red. Hearing Mail softly joke, if you could consider it a joke, about the teasing Valshe had given, he didn't really expect him to joke back at him, but sort of expected more of a cold response about joking in the middle of a serious and 'deadly' moment that could be hurting Mail with every second that passed. "That would probably hurt.." quietly whispering it in return as a tiny giggle left his mouth, his eyes closed as he took a breathe, still rather tired from the run to the slope than down it, as he was already tired but passing out wasn't going to happen thank god, he didn't believe that would happen as he hadn't pushed himself to the limit.

Moonbay looked at at the young boy who had came by the side, a completely worried expression of her face. If only she hadn't came to the fields, she began regretting it ever since she accidentally hurt the fair haired man, and now she could think of nothing more than how it was her fault. Her very existence scared human beings, sometimes hurting them because they freaked out to bad, this one probably being the worst as he had broken his arm and twisted his ankle, the proof wasn't hard to see as he had rammed right into a large rock, it would've hurt him even more if he hadn't protected himself with his arms, thank god he had however. "I.. I didn't mean to." her voice was shaky as she looked at him, making it sound like she had pushed him off towards the rocks or something. "I-I scared him, and he t-tripped." she muttered quietly, her fingers grasping tightly around her mouth again as she found herself shivering, despite being a ghost and being naturally cold 24-7, she shivered out of disgust in herself, why was she such a horrible spirit? Maybe all the stories and fairy tales about ghosts and spirits where true, they only caused harm to everyone around them and haunted human beings in every way they could until they couldn't take the torture of the ghost.

Staring at him with a bit of a concerned smirk on his face, he raised an eyebrow as he began but suddenly paused for a few seconds, slowly shifting in the snow as his legs began to feel the slightest cold despite his legs being covered, his fingers turning numb and colder than ever, he didn't even pull them out from the snow he had dug them in, even if they turned into ice he probably wouldn't, his fingers had dug into the snow because he was rather nervous about this whole thing, if that made sense at all. He had nothing else to hold on but his scarf, but that could easily choke him. He didn't want to hold onto Mail while he was hurt, because he would get easily embarrassed and most likely Valshe would freeze him even more since his whole body was literally freezing with the snow. A rather nervous giggle left his mouth at his words. Dork wasn't something he was called often, but that didn't matter right now. "I don't care," he said rather softly, concerning the fact Mail was hurt, if Valshe got hurt he wouldn't of cared, as long as he survived long enough to actually get Mail from the slope it was fine. "You're hurt and my condition wouldn't of mattered." he added, showing a rather serious side. It was true that he hadn't care as he fled down there, even though if he cracked his skull he wouldn't of been able to help Mail.

Watching him try to sit up and fail made Valshe slightly cringe in fear even if it wasn't him being hurt at all, staring at him as he mentioned his arm being broken, it wasn't hard to believe considering the rock he had literally just ran into. Taking a bit of a breathe, he slowly pulled his fingers from the snow even though he was still nervous and slightly shaking now, his fingers number than ever. "You'll have to deal with me picking you up than, princess." even though it may of sounded a bit cold at first, but his tone showed he was being serious, yet acting a bit in a more friendly manner as he slowly shifted to his side, one finger going around his back. "Permission to do so?" he asked slowly, a soft smile spread across his face. Even if he said no, he was going to pick him up. What did he expect him to do? Leave him down here?

Season: Winter l Time: Morning l Tag: Valshe/Moonbay l Notes: I feel so bad for Moonbay-- about to get another panic attack from someone lol

Reading the expression on the woman's face, anyone could clearly see the guilt and sadness she had. Dakota felt bad for her, seeing how horribly she felt about the fair-haired man taking a fall and getting himself hurt. From where he stood, he couldn't hear what the two were saying from so far below... but he assumed it would be best to not get too involved. After all, Dakota and Moonbay were still strangers to the two men who obviously knew each other and were probably friends. Out of everyone, Dakota had a feeling that the blond haired man was who the white haired man wanted by his side the most, which didn't really upset him... he just hoped he didn't seem careless by not running down there, too. There weren't any cellphones in Saffron so none of them could call for help or anything. Dakota wondered how emergencies worked here but most likely, all that the white-haired man would need was a cast and his ankle to be wrapped up, so nothing life-threatening.

The poor woman shivered and grasped the corners of her mouth, making Dakota frown and his eyes tear. She must have felt so bad, but none of this was really her fault! Hearing that she scared the white haired man, Dakota didn't at all think this was because she was a ghost. He honestly hadn't really noticed... Mail was so bad at throwing snowballs, he just thought that they all missed terribly. Dakota thought that Moonbay might have done a sneak-attack with a snowball and scared him off the slope, but the last thing that would ever cross his mind was her being a ghost and thus scaring the man by being one Walking up to her, he spread out his arms with a soft smile up at her, offering a hug, before attempting to wrap her arms around her in comfort...

Mail's eyes softened at Valshe. Did he really mean what he said about not caring about his own condition? Never did Mail think that someone could be that selfless. It seemed as though the majority of people in his life, even his own parents, put themselves before most others. Maybe Mail's uncle was different then that but he hadn't seen the man in years. Valshe was pretty much the only person that he knew that would ever say something like that... it made Mail's cheeks blush, but he quickly turned his head away from looking at him so Valshe didn't think that he was blushing this much because of his injuries. Seriously, it was a rarity when someone made Mail feel like this whenever doing the simplest things such as caring. What was wrong with him? Valshe was.... Valshe was a friend. It was hard for him to admit, and he'd even be hesitant to call Valshe one in fear of rejection, but.... maybe, that's what he was to him and why Mail's face always brightened whenever seeing him.

After trying to sit himself up, and ultimately failing, Mail was now wondering how he was even going to get around. It was hard to walk around with one ankle terribly sprain, or to even write or grab things with a broken arm... luckily, it wasn't his right arm so he wasn't completely disabled, but having a left arm unable to use was a huge inconvenience anyway. Once Valshe spoke up, Mail suddenly bit down on the side of his cheek at the word 'princess'. Boy did he feel like one right one, having his knight in shining armor come to the rescue of helpless Mapunzel. This was embarrassing and down-grading to him as a man. Valshe's words were serious, though, and it prevented Mail from whining at him. Had Valshe said it in a more playful way he may have gotten a bit of sass from Mail. A soft smile spread over his lips and Mail twisted his mouth with a troubled gaze. How could he say no to that face? "There's not any other way." Mail said quietly, trying to state that he didn't particularly want Valshe to carry him since... w-well, that's not what friends did. At least, not in his book! His cheeks started to cool off in color, gradually the pink getting lighter and lighter, and he gave Valshe a smile as well. "I don't really want to trouble you though... are you sure you don't mind?" He asked thoughtfully. Hopefully, Mail wasn't trying to depend on the guy too much...

Notes: I WAS RUSHED DB SORRY.
Moonbay continued to have that frightened feeling, expression, even body stance as she refused to look down the slope at the figure she had accidentally hurt, the glare the young blonde headed man was enough to make a shiver go down her spine, it was the face of what seemed like one would give to a criminal that just killed the persons family, it sent scary images to her head, making it impossible to even clearly think. Moonbay often never really had images in her head since it was obvious, she was a ghost and usually her head was blank and only her thoughts echoed in her head like an old and deep cave. Another shiver went down her spine as she hadn't noticed the young boy coming up to her with his arms ready to try to grasp her in a hug. Right before she could react and walk back to make it seem like she wasn't a ghost, she felt that fuzzy feeling go right through her and a real big shiver went down her spine as she stared at the young boy who just literally, went through her. Her eyes widened in an instant as she stood there and stared at him, without walking backwards to make it look like he just sort of missed and she was playing around with him, instead she just stood there and let him find out for himself that she wasn't like him in any sort of way, she had emotions like any other human and she looked like them, that's the only thing they shared.

Gently smiled as he slowly nodded, he shouldn't of asked since the question was probably stupid since it was obvious he needed help to get out, even if he was to of refused. As he was about to situated himself to pick him off the ground and rush him to the clinic, his heart raced as he began talking again. A soft grunt leaving his mouth as he stared at Mail with a funny expression, that could be read as 'are you joking?'. "It won't trouble me, if I could carry Aries back at the inn I can carry you also." his smile resumed as he had an obvious joking tone, it was supposed to be serious but it could as be taken in a rather joking way, Aries was almost his height but slightly heavy, even though she was rather thin for her height and age and how much she actually ate, it was amazing she wasn't that much thicker, or that he hadn't broken his back. He didn't have anything wrong with bigger people, not at all though!

Wrapping his whole arm around his back carefully, her lightly held him in a way that he wasn't found falling out of his arms unless he was to suddenly roll out, which he didn't see that being a possibility since that would make him roll into the rocks once more. Slipping is other hand under his legs to pretty much carry him like a princess in reality now, he took a big breathe and stared at Mail as if expecting something to suddenly happen. Without asking, he smiled softly to try and 'comfort' him before taking a bit of a breathe for 'strength' while he did this. "1... 2.." he whispered the count-down to himself, not really caring if Mail heard him or not since it wasn't new or anything, as he pushed to stand up he finally said the last number, "3~" in a rather teasing way as he finally lifted up only to slightly stumble backwards. "You're heavier than you look." he joked innocently, smiling at him lightly.

Season: Winter l Time: Morning l Tag: Valshe/Moonbay l Notes: VALSHE, U CALLIN' HIM FAT?

Dakota attempted his hug to comfort the woman, hoping that it would help her feel at least a little better, but... something strange happened. Instead of feeling the warm figure of a human body, it... felt fuzzy, like he was moving his arms through mist or fog. It wasn't something anyone would expect to feel when trying to hug another and it was very strange. Dakota wasn't sure if he even reached the right direction at first, tilting his head up to see that he was... standing pretty much on her, yet... it was as though nobody was there, but him. Like she didn't even really exist and he had been just imagining her this entire time. Dakota was baffled and scared out of his mind, jerking his arms back and lightly plopping into the snow right on his bottom, staring up at Moonbay in surprise. The more he looked at her, the more... transparent she seemed. He felt his blood grow cold, staring at her with his large brown eyes like a terrified child, before scrambling up and practically running around her and down the field. The two boys down below-- th-they were fine! The blond haired man was helping the injured man, and... a-and they could handle it! Dakota just wanted to get the heck out of there before he got haunted for life... he was horrified of ghosts! They were on of his biggest fears...

Valshe gave Mail a funny expression after he stated that he didn't want to trouble him. Honestly, Mail knew there really wasn't any other choice unless if Valshe was going to run all the way out of the field, all the way to the other side of the island, go to the clinic, and bring the doctor all the way back over here. That would be a really dumb idea and it'd just be better to carry Mail over to the clinic to save a trip and a rushed panic attack everywhere. But... he really just didn't want to be a nuisance to Valshe. Though Mail wouldn't admit it, he really liked the guy and thought he was a genuine person. There were many times when Mail wished he could have been more like Valshe, but... unfortunately, he just wasn't raised to be that relaxed about life. His parents raised him to work, cater to his father's needs, and worry about his reputation for business. Some kids growing up didn't fall victim to that kind of peer pressure but Mail did, not really having anyone else around to help him find another way of living. His cheeks only blushing slightly, he smiled sincerely up at Valshe. Well, he did have a point... Aries was a giant compared to Mail, and if he could carry her, carrying Mail wouldn't be that big of a problem.

Feeling arms wrap around him, Mail nervously closed his eyes. He felt his heart beating in his chest, so rapidly... he didn't need to get so anxious, so he didn't understand why he felt weird about Valshe slowly starting to pick him up. He needed to pick him up, it wasn't weird! But... he still felt something about it. He wasn't sure what. Continuously, he silently told himself to get a grip. Chances were, he'd be carried by Valshe for longer than ten minutes, so he needed to get used to it. Grunting a bit, Mail tried not to whine but it was a little painful being moved despite Valshe being careful. As Valshe began his count down, Mail kept his eyes squeezed closed and clenched his teeth down, preparing himself to be fully lifted from the ground. Once he was, he felt Valshe stumble backwards and his hands suddenly clung to the clothing on his chest. A moment passed and Mail opened his eyes before giving a rather annoyed stare up at him yet... one of his famous, fake smiles that made it hard to tell what he was thinking or how he really felt. "I'm sorry." He simply said, a bit of coldness in his voice before lowering his eyes down at his chest, realizing he was holding onto it for his life yet... he couldn't loosen his grip, no matter how hard he tried to. "Just hope you don't drop me." He threatened quietly before his smile broadened, finding a bit of amusement in the young man and his happiness... sure, Mail may have looked a bit cold, but deep inside he was warmly gazing at him. It was confusing but he didn't want to make Valshe think Mail was relying on him too heavily, thus putting a bit of a barrier between them. "How far is the clinic from here?"

A cold Winter Morning with Mail & Dakota

Notes: NOOO, HE'S NOT. *hugs Moonbay also*
Instantly, the boy panicked and flailed backwards, falling into the snow and staring at her in utter fear, the unbeating heart that was stuck in her chest for all eternity sunk, and she could feel it sink as she stared at the frightened expression on his face, her shocked and sad expression turning over to a hurt facial expression, she had been called all sort of things and knew people where going to run away, screaming or in silence, it didn't matter. People always looked at her like she was a monster and thought she was going to eat their souls, kill them for revenge as they thought she was haunting them for some sort of curse because their family committed a terrible crime in the past to her, causing her body to follow them everywhere they went, even though that wasn't true as she could never follow another person unless she wanted to find them. Moonbay tried to act like a human so people wouldn't freak out at the very sight of her, but it was hard when people these days wanted to give out handshakes, hug you for support without a warning and have snowball fights, leave a bunch of carts and junk in the streets that she could easily walk through them and dispose herself for everyone to see. Something about today's experience seemed different, as she was accepted for awhile only to turn around and mess it up without paying attention, as she disposed herself to them easily because she hadn't payed attention to them as she played this game with the three boys. Her eyes began to tear up and stare at the boy in the snow before her that stared at her like the worst person alive that had just killed someone, a single on plopping into the snow but not even causing a single sign to show it had plopped there, as her tears couldn't leave a mark. Maybe that didn't make sense, but she was a ghost. Like hell if anything would make sense for her..

She just watched him as he suddenly stood up and ran around her to get out of the field, her eyes followed him sadly before letting out her tears and not really minding the people down there seeing her crying or hearing her crying, as they would most likely just leave also. Instead of going back to the home, which was just a single grave beside her unborn child's grave, she slowly found herself walking as far away from the other two as she could, letting out all the tears and sobs she wanted. Why did she have to still be on this earth? Being a ghost hurt more than ever, not because of pain but because of everyone else. When she wanted to talk to someone, they just ran away and looked at her like the biggest monster alive. Her very existince was like a sin, being alive and coming back to the earth. Why? Why was she even on the earth still.. She didn't understand why she hadn't gone to heaven, not at all. She always tried to help people even if it didn't work out in the best way, she didn't want anyone else to end up like her yet people just rejected her and ran away, only because she was a ghost and not likely anyone else. As she got far from the slope where the other two had been, her legs gave out as she plopped into the snow behind her, sitting in a funny W shape as she just let it all out for awhile.

A pair of hands grabbed the clothing that guarded his chest and a tiny giggle escaped his mouth as he gained his balance and looked at him, after his comment on his 'hidden weight' he felt slightly awkward, especially after the next move as he gave him a rather 'scary' glance, it was more of an annoyed one but he could easily say it scared him down to the bones, there were a few things about this guy that still sort of frightened him, but there was nothing wrong with that since some people seemed a bit scary in their own way. Scoffing rather loudly at his attempt to quietly insult him, he looked at Mail as if trying to say something that wouldn't go through. "Like I would do that." his voice showed.. no emotions at all, none. But it was obvious he wasn't lying, even if he lied every now and than only to get away with it, Mail was one of the guys he hardly lied to, except for the newspaper boy thing since he didn't need that being discovered so soon because that would just result in him being in the biggest of trouble. "The only way that will happen is if YOU decide to roll out of my arms, which won't be an easy task." he returned it in a slightly serious tone now, as he was basically trying to warn him NOT to roll out of his arms.

Turning towards the slope and holding him in his arms, it was a funny feeling as his own chest began to beat the slightest since he wasn't really this close to most people, unless it was Aries because she had no sense in personal space. "It can't be that far." quietly talking as if trying to get him to sleep like some sort of child, he slowly began to climb the slope, as he reached the top he slightly felt the snow move underneath him because of the slope, but it was a damn miracle he made it to the top safely, he must of been rather lucky today, not because Mail got hurt, but because he actually lived and got the two to survive on the way up and down the slope. Looking around, he slightly gasped at the sight of nobody but a tiny figure off in the distance that he couldn't tell out, if it wasn't for the fact Mail was hurt, his curiosity would've gone over to check out what was going on to the figure in the distance, maybe he seemed cold hearted for not doing so even with Mail hurt, but he'd rather hurry up and get him to the hospital before he accidentally hit some sort of karma, all he needed was to meet someone he accidentally harassed weeks ago to meet him here and break his face next.

Walking off towards the 'exit' of the field where he had entered, he began to walk at a more normal pace, as he had been slightly slow for the first two seconds but didn't want to aggravate Mail with how slow he was walking for such a serious situation. If it wasn't for the fact he was bound ready to just drink a whole tank of water to get his energy up and that Mail's arm was broken, he would've ran. Valshe was fine with walking with Mail in his arms, he wasn't as heavy even though he teased him about being heavier than he looked minutes ago, that was a hoke and he didn't really mean it in any sort of way, because he was more like a feather for Valshe, but because his butt was tired he slightly thought of him a bit in a heavier way, which made him seem slightly heavier. The space between them was slightly quiet, Valshe had nothing really good to talk about at the moment to entertain him on the walk over there, but that was fine for him. If Mail began talking or something popped up in his head, he'd probably begin talking.

Season: Winter l Time: Morning l Tag: Valshe/Moonbay l Notes: MOONBAY, DON'T CRY DB

His hands clinging onto him, Mail didn't know why he was literally hanging onto Valshe... maybe he was nervous that the guy might drop him still, or it was just sort of a nervous reaction. His head might have been jumbled up from the fall still but nonetheless, his hands held onto the front of Valshe's jacket as his face felt warmed but no real color showed. Valshe showed serious in his tone of voice used, but Mail could see that it was partially from his own concerns of trying to get Mail to a clinic. Honestly, he had no idea how long of a walk it would be until they reached the town area. It seemed like this island was a lot bigger than the actual community and he wouldn't be surprised if someone got lost in the wilderness. Mail sort of missed the city because of how easy it was to get around and even if he got lost somehow, he had his cellphone to call for someone to pick him up. If he got lost here, he'd have to figure his own way out... which was slightly scary.

Being this close to Valshe... it made the tingly feeling his stomach and chest remain. Mail knew that Valshe wasn't just carrying him for kicks and giggles-- he needed to do it unless if he wanted to leave Mail laying in the rocks-- but still... he just had that weird feeling that he got the last time he saw Valshe. He didn't peep a word after Valshe spoke up again, being rather quiet as the man carried him. The only sounds that he could hear were the footsteps crunching through thick snow in a rhythm, crunch crunch, crunch crunch... was it weird that he was being so quiet? Then again, Valshe wasn't saying anything either but it could have been because Mail was being weirdly quiet as though he thought that if he spoke, it'd somehow annoy Valshe. His eyes softened after minutes passed and he felt himself start to relax more in his arms, his head lowering and resting very lightly against the front of Valshe's shoulder.

Mail felt something weighing on his mind. Being treated like this by anyone wasn't normal for him. He felt like a loser saying it, and he'd never really want to tell Valshe, but he never had an actual friend before. He was taught at home as a child and sent to a fancy boarding school as a teenager, only to be bullied or ignored. There was only one boy that Mail had ever gotten somewhat close to, the only person that defended him when he was getting harassed, but... they were long gone now. That friendship didn't last long and yet again Mail was left alone. For the past couple years he only focused on work but... this Valshe guy came in, and now Mail was starting to feel himself gradually letting him in more and more, despite trying to somewhat keep Valshe away from being a friend, but now.... Mail was starting to feel as though, they were friends.

Blushing, Mail obviously had something on his mind as he looked at the snowy fields. He couldn't look Valshe in the eyes, afraid that the man see right through him. "I'm not really sure how you feel, but..." He began, his voice rather hushed yet relaxed in tone. He was trying to seem as calm as possible, why would Valshe want Mail to get all shy about something so simple as friendship? "I... wanted to say thank you, for... being my friend." He murmured rather quickly, somewhat wincing an eye as he felt the words somewhat string as he spoke them. Mail sincerely meant what he said... and that scared him. He didn't know if Valshe considered him a friend, or if he was stupid to call him one. What if Valshe laughed at him? What if he thought Mail was just some loser who needed someone to always take care of him? Now he wanted to just hide, and lowered his head....

A cold Winter Morning with Mail

Notes: SO SWEEET BD
Despite how much Valshe felt awkward by the sudden silence, it was slightly refreshing as this island was slightly loud in a way that it was hard to get away from, even if you where to sit in the back of the woods there was a chance you would find someone lost or screaming like a wild man at the wind, or you'd hear the loud chirping of animals. In Valshe's case, it was the sound of a person screaming at their TV every night like a mad man, it was slightly annoying but Valshe never got the urge to go over there and yell at the person for it, knowing he would probably miss the yelling if it suddenly stopped or left since he's had to deal with it for awhile now. Mail was clutching onto his shirt as if he thought Valshe was evil enough to just drop him in the snow and hurt him even more, luckily he was not that type of person or he'd have to pack up and leave the place as quick as possible before he was murdered two days later. His head was lightly pressed against the front of his shoulder, making him smile inside, but on the outside he looked emotionless, as if mad about the fact Mail got himself hurt. He felt like he was taking care of a child, but that wasn't a bad thing at all, even though he didn't know Mail was hoping the exact opposite, as Valshe didn't mind being depended on, even if it was a lot since it made him feel actually needed, but he felt needed just by helping someone without really knowing, or just talking to someone.

His blue orbs moved to the corner of his eyes to look at Mail, twinkling at the brightest as it wasn't a lie, they were literally twinkling as he looked at him, waiting for him to finish what he had began to say. His face still emotionless, which could give the worst impression ever on someone who passed by, or on Mail who could easily think he was literally mad at him, he was just a bit tired right now though, but that wasn't the full reason. Smiling at a time like this didn't seem right, and he might as well of looked like he thought this situation was hilarious. Frowning wasn't something he wanted to do either, since smiling always seemed better, but if he didn't want to smile he just gave a rather emotionless stare, though it wasn't rare to see him frowning. He could tell that Mail seemed rather.. nervous about whatever he was trying to tell him, which was making him even more curious what he was going to tell him, his own stomach beginning to flutter the slightest with anxiousness everywhere. Once he began to speak again, he slowed down the speed to make sure he didn't suddenly trip over a rock since his attention was focused all over Mail right now, his feet lightly crunching in the snow. He talked quickly, the word friend slipped his mouth and instantly a smile went across his lips, almost making him look rather.. creepy.

Looking forward again, he lightly jerked Mail up to keep him from falling out of his arms, which wasn't going to be a good result, and knew he most likely would've hurt him doing so since he was pretty much in a rather delicate figure right now. He was just so small and fragile, but he wasn't going to say he was weak since he hadn't exactly seen much of what he could do if he got mad to the point he wanted to punch someone in the face, even if he was small and wasn't that fit, he could be able to hurt someone if he wanted to so Valshe kept that thought away. "I've considered you a friend for awhile now, so I don't think there's any reason for you to doubt that part." his voice was slow and rather calm, even though he was slightly nervous inside. It was just a good thing (in his opinion) that he was raised to be 'calm' and able to control SOME of his emotions around people, or Mail might as well of been able to see his nervousness right away. His speed quickened back up as he focused on the snow in front of him once more, his feet crunching loudly in the snow once more as he focused on getting Mail to the hospital, clinic or whatever you wanted to call the dang thing, as quickly as possible.

Season: Winter l Time: Morning l Tag: Valshe l Notes: Omggg so cute

As he spoke, Mail did his best not to make direct eye contact, knowing that he'd just end up stuttering all over the place and look like he was scared to say such a thing. However, from the corner of his eyes, he could see Valshe's blue orbs and how they shimmered at him... they looked so happy and full of emotion. Sort of reminded him of how his uncle's eyes were... they just always gave a warmth from them. Not like his father's eyes at all. They were like cold, piercing rubies that could slice through thin air. Honestly, his father looked charming in appearance and like a gentleman, but he had a condescending and intimidating vibe about him when things weren't going according to plan. It made Mail afraid to disobey him or even try to do his own things... one could say that whether his father meant to or not, he scared his son into following orders without even having to say anything-- just looking at him as enough. Valshe never had that look about him, though... he was different than what Mail was used to, and he liked it.

A smile crept over his lips and Mail blushed slightly. Was Valshe going to make fun of him? Darn it, he shouldn't have said anything! What an idiot he is! He wanted to bury his head somewhere to hide but the only place he could do that was against Valshe's chest and... just, no. No way he was going to smother himself all over the young man like some weirdo afraid of friendship for a reason that would be hard to understand unless if he explained it all. Mail could feel Valshe's focus on him, making him even more nervous as he felt his eyes almost start to water. It was like waiting for someone to yell or make fun of him, which he was expecting, and the sudden slight jerk to keep him from falling out of Valshe's arms scared him a bit and he clung even more to his shirt. Well... on the bright side, Valshe didn't purposely throw him out into the snow and run away! That was a good sign that he wasn't too mad... and then, when Valshe spoke up, Mail's eyes widened up at the man, finally looking at him... sincerely stunned.

A friend... Mail made a friend, and it was mutual feelings between the two. It... was so weird, to say that for once, he actually had someone who he could spend time with, and... whatever it was that friends did. Mail wasn't really that sure. Friendship seemed so simple, and he frequently told himself that he didn't need any friends but... he felt so overwhelmingly happy and surprised to hear that Valshe considered him as a friend, too. His heart almost sang and he gave Valshe a rather innocent, sweet smile. His once watering eyes glimmered, the coldness leaving them as he felt himself gradually warming up more and more inside. He... finally had a friend! The best part was that... it was with Valshe. If Mail were to have a single friend, he'd want it to be Valshe. "Oh, I see..." He simply said, his voice soft and more light than usual. Mail wanted to laugh at his foolishness for having negative thoughts about referring to Valshe as a friend, uncertain and worried of rejection, when Valshe had so easily referred to Mail as one. He felt so dumb but more relieved than anything.

Mail felt at peace and honestly, happier than he'd ever been since arriving at Saffron Island. Sure, he broke his arm and sprained his ankle today, but if that's what it took to finally make Mail accept Valshe as a friend... it was all very worth it. All the stress about everything exhausted him, making him lower his head against Valshe and close his eyes with a peaceful smile. He really needed to just... take in this moment, and clear his mind, but he felt so... so happy. He just hoped that when he opened his eyes again, everything didn't turn out to be a dream.
