Two bathrooms, one bedroom, one living room, Two extra spaces room, one guest room. When you enter, your basically inside the living room of course, the tiny old fashioned TV is just to the left, a few pictures are hanging above it just a few pictures that she had moved in with them there and decided to just keep them there, a coffee table with a few coffee holders on it just for use. Pictures of Evangeline and her Grandmother that they had taken not to many years ago are balanced there perfectly, staring at the couch as the person watches the old TV. Her couch fits at least three people, not a lot of room is used in the living room unless it's some her own little mess. The kitchen is right behind the living room and small but there's no wall so the space is basically connected with the living room, not much is needed to explain here other than the simple cooking stuff and a few silverware utensils in the drawers. The main bedroom is to the very left, a single bed is there with a circle table next to it, a tiny alarm clock is on it that hardly goes off on the correct time, a drawer is in front of a door that had been extra space, it's completely empty. A few pictures lay on top of the drawer of her grandmother. The bathroom is just across from Evangeline's room, it's not entirely spacious but it works for one person of course. The guest room is bigger than the room Evangeline sleeps in, a double bed that has never been slept on was replaced with the bed her grandmother slept on which had been tossed out and the neighbor had taken it. The room itself is empty other than the guest bed and drawer not to far from it. The guest bathroom is connected right with the guest bathroom and outside in the living room to. ---------------------------------------------------------

No matter what kind of deep darkness, we won't be torn apart. I cheer up and never look back for the sake of our tomorrow. E V A N G E L I N E Date//>> Fall 11th ✪ Time//>> Morning/Evening ✪ Tag//>> Closed ✪ Outfit//>> HereNearly running home with Marcel's jacket close to her chest, she was running home so she could wash it as quick as possible and clean the house. Than she could dry the jacket out and take it to him today or tomorrow depending on how long it took. A few times she stumbled over her toms, but made it home without falling on her face luckily. Opening the door, she looked around and sighed. She had been so used to being welcomed home by now, she felt like she was in the wrong house or something.
Walking quickly to the main bathroom, she turned on some hot and cold water in the tub, it slowly filled and Evangeline stuffed it underwater only to grab one of the brushes her grandmother used to scrub the floor, it wasn't dirty but it would work. She scrubbed the coat furiously, and it didn't seem to work. Than she pulled it up and saw why. She accidentally made a hole in it. Instantly, she panicked and fell into the tub as she stood up and tripped over some droplets that had been left on the floor. Pulling herself up, she spit out some water she had just swallowed.
Getting out of the tub quickly, she ran in her toms out the door, holding the bloodless but torn jacket close to her wet body as she ran, not even caring that her tank-top was see through. She was just lucky she was wearing a bra. She needed to get to Marcel and quick before she went into a panic state. He said he lived in the inn. She had started to run there now, and then it hit her.
She forgot the only thing that helped her communicate.

Originally, his plans were to take his little brother to the carnival for the day while his mother was off with her friends. Nolan loved his little brother and all but he didn't like having to watch over him so often. At twelve years old, his mother never once had a babysitter for him and she could care less if he was off wrecking havoc in town while she was at work or having 'her time'. Why was it so different with Basil? Nolan was sure the day would be all about watching him have fun, but then he ended up wandering off and running into one of the cutest girls he'd ever seen. What started as a boring day turned into a fun one and before he knew it, Nolan had plans to go see her for dinner. All day Nolan was waiting for the late afternoon to come. Ever since leaving the carnival, he focused on putting together a decent outfit to wear for going over to Evangeline's house and thinking of something to bring over. He didn't want to just waltz on over with nothing to bring, not even a little flower! By the time afternoon came, Nolan accidentally slept in as he always did on the weekend and nearly panicked to get himself ready. There was still a few hours left before heading over but he wanted to make sure he was perfectly prepared. Throwing on a light-weight, white pull-over sweatshirt and some clean jeans, Nolan made sure not to dress up too fancy but tried picking the cleanest of his clothes. He tried styling his hair a little but found it to be quite a pain. His bangs naturally fell over in one spot, his spikes were used to swaying a certain way, and whenever Nolan tried combing it all back everything just fell right back to place. After about twenty minutes of trying to get everything the way he wanted it to, Nolan sighed and gave up on the hair, acknowledging that trying any more would be useless. Luckily there was no work today and he had the entire day off to do whatever he wanted before seeing his newest and cutest friend, Evangeline. Town wasn't very busy and the sky was very dark in color. Rainfall was confirmed later in the evening but nothing too big. At least, that's what the weatherman said last night. There were times when the weather was unpredictable. Nolan decided to believe the weatherman instead of realizing that the storm might be more serious, however, and continued on with his happy day. Buying a bouquet of Bluemist flowers, Nolan smiled and held them as he made his way down licorice street. In his other hand was the note that had Evangeline's specific address on it, which he made sure to hold onto with his dear life as the strong breeze tried blowing the slip of paper out of his grasp. His eyes scanned each house he passed by before coming up to blue house trimmed in white with a little stone path that lead to the porch. Nolan checked the paper then the house address before smiling widely. " This is the place! Her house looks really cute, too..." He pondered out loud before taking a deep breath. Suddenly Nolan felt very nervous, his heart beating heavily in his chest and butterflies fluttering in his stomach. Before actually coming up to the house he felt very energetic and eager to visit but now he was nervous and wondered if somehow he'd mess up the visit. Imagine-- a happy Nolan comes frolicking up the steps just as Evangeline opens the door. Everyone's all smiles until Nolan's foot doesn't make it over the step and causes him to fall forward, hurling into Evangeline and knocking her down onto the floor. Nolan froze up at the beginning of the stone steps as he played the scene through his mind, his hands shaking a little. Crap, what if he did something entirely stupid like that? She'd never invite him over again. AGAIN. Gulping, Nolan forced himself to walk down the path and up to the porch. He didn't immediately step up and he looked down while lifting both of his feet to make sure he didn't trip. Once safely making it onto the wooden porch, Nolan sighed in relief and gave a knock at the door, slipping the note back inside of his sweatshirt pocket and continuing to hold onto the Bluemist flowers while putting on a friendly smile. Here goes nothing!

Season: Fall || Tags: Nolan || Time: Afternoony || Notes:: She is such a klutz xDEvangeline was pretty much up a bit late, she had planned on getting up at twelve so she could get things ready, and practically had no absolute clue of what to cook yet still, but her clock was the same as always. It decided to wake her up exactly at three o'clock. As she heard the loud ringing noise fill her ears, she grabbed her pillow only to put it over her ears like a refusing child before smacking the top of the alarm and closing her eyes again. Than it hit her that she remembered what today was, she had invited Nolan over to dinner and she practically forgot about it. What kind of girl who was the one who began the offer in the first place, forgot about dinner with someone so kind!? Tossing her sheets off of herself, she found herself kicking around trying to get the other cover that somehow tangled around her in the middle of the night, only to fall face first into the floor. Quickly untangling herself from the blanket, she stood up and blindly walked towards the door only to go face first into it. Grabbing her nose she stared at the door as if warning it to move by itself before opening it quickly, what was wrong with her today? Running just across the hall to the bathroom, she tossed herself in the shower quickly before he got there, and it took no more than thirty minutes to wash herself clean from her lazy day.
Grabbing her towel and holding it against herself as she ran back to her room and stared in her wardrobe, she had no clue what to wear. She could just stand there for fifty years and look in the closet and try to find something that looked nice and decent for a dinner with someone, but she had no absolute clue. In fact, she needed to make the house look a little more normal since she had basically made it look messy, and her picture on the coffee table was face first, she needed to put it back up to stare at the couch so it didn't look like she was hiding anything from Nolan himself. Closing her eyes, she felt around for something and didn't exactly look. That was the point, basically just a guessing game she supposed, she grasped her hands firmly around something only to open her eyes and find her oh so favorite clothing (Sarcasm). A pair of black shorts girls would use for jogging and a light blue top that didn't exactly enjoy staying put on her shoulders, and liked to slip and slide to expose her shoulders all the time, she quickly tossed it on and ran out the door only to nearly trip onto her butt from the carpet on the floor outside her room. Turning towards the living room in a bit of the typical speed walk, she slipped her way between the couch and coffee table only to grab the photo with her and her grandmother hugging and smiling at each other, it was taken a year before her leaving the land to somewhere to far for anyone to travel, quickly smacking it against the coffee table as it stared towards the couch, she hardly noticed her wet hair still dripping.
Putting on a pair of random boots to keep her feet from freezing since her bath water hadn't been the warmest water you would want to take a shower in, especially with in this time of fall. Turning towards the living room, she finally got to look at how messy it looked in her eyes. A few clothes were thrown all over the floor, photo frames broken with pictures of her and her grandmother, or one of those two just alone. Luckily she had cleaned the glass before the photo's themselves got destroyed on the floor, most of them weren't broken cause she threw them or anything, but because she was pretty clumsy even after living in the house for quite awhile. Turning towards the clock that hardly showed the correct time, she took a deep breathe to try and calm down for once before looking for her notepad where ever it may be before finding it on the desk just in front of the door used for any luggage she brought home, so she didn't have to worry about carrying it anywhere. Her panda bear that she had decided to name Willy, it wasn't a boy at all or a girl, maybe it was just genderless named Willy, was sitting on the couch peacefully with the same beady eyes and smile imprinted on it's face.
Panicking at the time neared towards the time they had assigned for the dinner to be, she literally hit her head against the wall and took another deep breathe to calm down since this was practically the first time she had invited someone to her house, her messy messy house.. Quickly running back to the bathroom, she grabbed her comb before combing through her hair quickly, her bangs falling just above her eyes as always, swished to the right of her face at the same time. Of course, she didn't do much cause soon she heard the door being knocked on, she turned around as she quickly began to run towards the door. Standing in front of the door, she stopped before she opened it and took a deep breathe and closing her eyes to imagine the smile Nolan had just like yesterday.
Finally mustering some courage in her, she opened her eyes and turned towards the door before taking one last deep breathe and reaching for the knob to the door before opening it quickly, she instantly smiled before even seeing Nolan's smiling face. Of course, she felt like she was half nude wearing what she was in fall, but she was practically rushing herself to get ready, maybe she could change later when she ran in her room for whatever reason. Seeing the dark sky, she blinked and remembered the weather that had been on the radio yesterday. It said it was no more than a bit of rain, but she highly doubted that with how bad the sky looked. Looking back over at Nolan, she finally noticed something about him. Not anything he was wearing, oh of course not, it was what he was holding. She blushed and looked at him before blinking once and opening the door for him to come in before he got stuck out in the rain.

Dinner sounded wonderful and Nolan was completely excited to spend more time with Evangeline-- maybe more excited than he should be-- but now that he remembered how clumsy he was, Nolan became more and more anxious as he thought of all the ways he could possibly screw up what could be a wonderful evening. Tripping all over the place, knocking over an expensive vase, sitting down and somehow breaking the chair, spilling food all over the place... oh god, there were COUNTLESS ways for Evangeline to be convinced Nolan was just a walking train wreck. A very light sweat started to form over his palms and Nolan quietly tapped his foot as a nervous way of trying to distract himself while waiting. Some strange noises came from the house and Nolan's eyes somewhat widened. He could have swore he heard something break and even someone running into a wall or something and he stood on his tippy-toes for a split second to peep inside. If there was a crazy robber or murderer in there, Nolan wanted to know right away so he could barge in there and use some good ol' fighting skills he learned awhile back. However, everything looked pretty normal in the house. Nolan's feet went back flat on the porch and he smiled to himself in relief, being too worked-up over his fears of messing up the night to even notice the mess inside. Seeing Evangeline's face through the door's window, Nolan's cheeks immediately blushed and his smile became a lot more shy than bold. The door opened and his heart felt like it was going to pound right out of his chest and splat against the wall inside-- and for a second, Nolan was sure it did. Evangeline wore very casual clothes but even then, he found her to be the most adorable looking girl that could be possibly roaming the island and wanted to give her a huge hug. His thoughts screamed at him to do something, anything, but he was nearly frozen on the porch with his blushing cheeks, smile, and Bluemist flowers. Nolan wanted to mentally kick himself in the head. Finally he got himself together and beamed with happiness, " H-hey Evangeline! It's so great to see you!" His legs nearly trembled as he stepped on into the house but he turned to face Evangeline before getting a good look at anything in the living room. His eyes gazed at her and he quickly held the bouquet out to her. " I-I brought you flowers! They're Bluemist!" The stuttering coming from his voice really made Nolan want to kick himself even more but he found himself almost speechless. " Y-you look really pretty, Eve! I-I mean, you looked pretty at the carnival too but... y-yeah!" Nolan attempted a compliment and in his head, it sounded a lot smoother. Oh goddess, save him.

Season: Fall || Tags: Nolan || Time: Afternoony || Notes: ---Smiling at him as he walked in after standing on her porch for a few seconds or so, she closed the door and locked it just for safety issues, not because she wanted to lock him in there and torture him to death or anything, she just didn't like the thought of someone walking in, next thing she needed was Aries to walk in there or something. Turning back in his direction, her cheeks still red, the light in the house was brighter than it was as it may of looked outside through the windows at least, and it was good enough to get through the house at least. "H-hey Evangeline! I't so great to see you!" Nodding, she waved her hands in front of her face before using her free hand to grab the sketchpad not to far from her and writing once more on it like an everyday thing, of course it was, and turning it in his direction. [It's great to see you again, Nolan!] she squirmed around a bit cold after the shower and some of the outside winds blowing inside, she smiled brightly as always.
"I-I brought you flowers! They're Bluemist!" Her face instantly lit up as she smiled, grabbing them slowly as she turned towards him and smile brightly. The stuttering was in his voice, and she could hear it, but she thought it was adorable. She felt bad that she didn't get him anything, but she'd find something someday to give him next time of course! It was like a hot potato game. Instead, for now, she stuck to the regular thank you notice and wrapped her arms around him and hugged him for her thank you notice. "Y-you look really pretty, Eve! I-I mean, you looked pretty at the carnival too but... y-yeah!" Evangeline chuckled mentally before pulling away before he got uncomfortable or anything and smiled nervously before turning towards the living room, waving her hands for him to come in there instead of standing by the door like deers in headlights. Walking over to the coffee table, she put the flowers carefully down onto the table next to the photo before turning back in Nolan's direction and finally grabbing her courage again to ask him. [Um... What do you like to eat?] She turned the sketchpad towards him and rubbed the back of her neck nervously.
Grabbing Willy the Panda (That's what she was going to call it from now on, from that point on) she moved it over onto the floor in front of the couch just in case Nolan wanted to sit down after all, he had just walked to her house from who knows where.

He was hugged by Evangeline. His face flushed brightly while she wasn't looking but quickly, the color faded into a light pink shade in only his cheeks and he gently put his arms around her to hug her back. Nolan needed to calm down and her hug, as much as it made his butterflies flutter even more, managed to help him relax a little more. His arms slowly draped back to his sides after she took the flowers and couldn't help but to give a silent, little sigh in relief that she liked them. Some girls were a little strange about flowers, wanting to stomp all over them and throw them back in your face before screaming something about being 'sexist'. With the wave of Evangeline's hand, Nolan immediately followed after her like a good house guest and gazed around the living room. Just now he realized that everything was... a little out of place. His house-cleaning instincts made him want to pick up some things right away but really, who wanted a guest to immediately start reorganizing their belongings? Before he left, he definitely would help the young lady tidy up though. His eyes noticed a picture next to where Evangeline put the flowers and he wondered whom the older woman was. They looked so happy in the picture... it was actually pretty sweet. It took a moment, but Nolan's eyes lifted away and he saw that Evangeline had her notepad up and ready. It appeared that she hadn't started dinner yet but he didn't mind-- maybe he could help her despite never cooking before a day in his life. Perhaps observing could count as a lending helping hand? Nolan sat down right beside Evangeline and grinned at her little panda, being quite overjoyed that their time at the carnival meant something to her. " It's panda! They look so happy to be here with you~" He chirped, being quite distracted from the question. He gently used a finger to lightly lift one of the paws and asked, " Did you name him or her?" ... Oh wait, Evangeline already asked him a question! Nolan blinked and his eyes widened, childishly gazing at Evangeline. " Oh, sorry! Ummm... I'll eat anything you make, Miss Evangeline!" He simply answered, one of his feet slightly swinging above the floor. Nolan didn't want to come off as picky or be rude. He was sure whatever she made he'd go on about how wonderful it was anyway... but then, Nolan put a finger to his lower lip as he remembered that there was probably something he should mention before she went through the trouble of making them dinner. " I don't eat any farm animals or poultry, though... I'm more so into seafood and other things." Nolan added and smiled brightly, " What ingredients do you have in the fridge? Maybe we could prepare something together!"

Season: Fall || Tags: Nolan || Time: Afternoony || Notes: ---"It's panda! They look so happy to be here with you~" Evangeline smiled brightly at him as she heard it, it's not like she would rush him to answer, the two did have a good time at the Carnival so she understood him when he said that, she might've said the same if she was the one going over or whatever, but she would feel a lot more shy than she was now since she knew what was exactly in her house. As the name question popped up from Nolan's mouth, Evangeline began writing her answer right away. [I'm such a horrible name maker, I named him Willy the panda.] Evangeline chuckled mentally as she turned it around, tilting her head as she smiled like it was something she should cut and put in a picture frame for the rest of her life.
Hearing him apologize, Evangeline smiled and waved her hands in front of her face dismissively as if saying it was fine yet again, she never minded it he trailed off. In fact, it was kind of adorable. Stretching a bit, she felt herself yawn out loud a bit but quickly covered her mouth and stood up, about to turn towards the kitchen with her notepad in her hands. Hearing his talk about what he didn't eat, she nodded and wrote it down as a tip for herself, the seafood part struck her as she smiled. She had never really eaten seafood before but her grandmother was a huge fan of seafood, but she'd often never eat it, when she did it was just shrimp and that was mainly all it was.
Stopping in place, she turned back on her heels and wrote down her next words after he finished his sentence. [That sounds fun! As for the stuff pushed in my fridge, pretty much a lot to name down.] She thought about the food in the fridge, luckily she knew none of it was expired cause she threw away anything expired the day before yesterday, but her fridge was still full of food that would last for at least another season or two before expiring or being eaten itself, adding to it the canned goods somewhere in the cabinets weren't going to expire anytime soon either. Quickly as she thought about that, she wrote down before he thought she was going to feed him expired, old, nasty food, she turned it back around quickly as her face flushed nervously. Obviously she was new to this.. dinner date schedules.

Nolan thought it had a lot of charm and grinned warmly before giving the panda a pat on the head. " Willy is a PERFECT name!" He replied sincerely before his hand left the panda's head. At least Evangeline's name for her panda was a lot more creative than what Nolan came up with for his teddy bear. By the time Nolan finally got back home at night, he felt a little sleepy and came up with a name someone brain-dead could easily think of. Teddy. Yes, just Teddy. Maybe one of these days he'd add a last name to give more pinash but Nolan wasn't really sure what else to call the plush. Placing both hands on his knees, Nolan looked up at Evangeline and her notepad. He hoped that she didn't mind the fact that he didn't eat meat but judging by her written response, she didn't mind much at all. His whole life Nolan really found eating meat that fascinating, especially coming from cows or sheep. After visiting a farm and seeing all the animals happily grazing in the fields, Nolan vowed to never eat a single livestock animal in his entire life. Standing up, Nolan made sure not to trip on anything as he stepped around the table and entered the open kitchen. The kitchen was rather small but had a nice, homey feeling to it. " Let's see what we can whip up, then!" Nolan declared, rubbing his hands together. Nolan didn't dig through any of the pantries or the fridge, however, and stood near the middle of the kitchen as he glanced around. " Although, I do warn you that I haven't cooked a day in my life. You should take charge unless if you want your kitchen to explode from my lack-of cooking skills." He admitted with a teasing smile. If Evangeline decided to just heat something up, he'd be fine with that also. His expression showed that Nolan was happy to just be spending time with Evangeline. If it weren't for this, he'd probably be alone in his room at the Inn.

Season: Fall || Tags: Nolan || Time: Afternoony || Notes: ---"Willy is a perfect name!" Blushing a bit in her cheeks, she looked up at him as if to question "you mean it?" but said nothing or wrote nothing, just smiled like she always did. Sometimes she thought she had the smiling disease or something with how much she enjoyed smiling, or maybe it was just around Nolan she did that all the time. She'd have to debate with Willy the panda about that later, cause it was quite different in her opinion. She's naturally your smiling lady, but she never found herself smiling more than six-hundred times a day. Maybe she'd made a funny name like the people loved to do back in the older days, like Alexander the great and stuff, maybe Willy the great panda conqueror or something exaggerated like that. Willy was fluffy enough to say he was the conqueror of panda plushies at least, at least through her own imaginative eyes.
"Let's see what we can whip up, then!" Looking over at Nolan who had already made his way into the kitchen like flash from the comics or something, she didn't know exactly if that was his name she was just guessing with how many of the little boys loved reading comics of super humans and stuff like that. Putting her panda down onto the couch, she did the usual poke on the nose before speed walking into the kitchen where he had already been waiting. Hearing his warning, Evangeline nodded herself before writing down stuff. [No need to worry, it's all fun either ways!] she smiled, turning it around with a large gleaming smile as a child would after getting a first place prize in they're favorite subject.
Walking over to the sink, she turned on the sink water before washing her hands. Even though she took a shower what seemed liked seconds ago, she washed her hands anyways. Seeing Nolan out of the corner of her eyes, she smiled nervously to herself about the whole thing. She was still debating what to make for dinner. Her real mother would've just laughed at her for even trying, but she was going to either ways, she wasn't there anyways. Turning only her head in his direction, she stuck her tongue childishly at him even if he didn't see, she did it anyways before flicking some water at him and turning back around acting like she didn't do anything. Turning the water off real quick, she grabbed a towel and began to dry her hands off finally before sliding her way over to the fridge not to far away and opening it, only to bend over and peer inside. She wasn't exactly tall in perspective views of another person, but when it came to the fridge in the house, it was a bit short at first glance, but when you saw how big and spacious it looked inside you thought differently. Instead of a tall and thin fridge, her fridge was a bit more... short and wide?
Grabbing some of the regular ingredients to make a pizza, she stood up and put her notepad on the top of the fridge before grabbing some of the stuff. Maybe she should've made some better thoughts into what she would cook for the two, but she thought a pizza wouldn't hurt since meat wasn't used unless she put anything on top of it. If she did, she'd ask Nolan what he wanted on it first before jumping to conclusions. Grabbing some of the sauce you would use for pizza, she put it between her arms using her chest as a bit of a cushion to hold it, than reached for some of the dough that she bought. She was a bit lazy maybe it would seem, but she didn't exactly.. know how to make her own dough.. Than she reached back in and grabbed some of the cheese before coming out with the simple ingredients. Of course it wasn't all she needed. Placing it down next to her notepad, she bent down to get to the cabinet only to bang her head on the top of the counter making her walk backwards a little bit. Frowning, she got on the floor nearly this time before approaching the counter again and grabbed the roller and some flour so it didn't stick so bad.

Neither of his parents ever let him near the stove so this was pretty new to him. Something so simple as cooking excited Nolan and he really couldn't wait to make his first meal. Evangeline experienced her first carnival ride with him, and now it was Nolan's turn to experience his first cooked meal with her. Once she began washing her hands he nearly trotted up behind her right before she flicked water at him. His eye twitched when water got in it but Nolan was still all smiles, laughing as he wiped a droplet of water off his cheek with a finger. " Ack! You almost scared me there with your crazy water powers!" He teased, pretending to be surprised and in awe by Evangeline before his expression softened and he went to go wash his hands. " I wouldn't be surprised if you were secretly a mermaid!" He added, scrubbing his hands with enough soap to where bubbles formed entirely over his palms. Unintentionally Nolan began humming happy birthday while scrubbing his hands vigorously to kill any nasty little germs hidden on his hands. He wasn't exactly a germophobe but before touching food, he wanted to kill as much bacteria as possible. He heard Evangeline getting out ingredients behind him and briefly glanced over a few times. From the ingredients she took out and placed on the counter, it looked like they would be preparing pizza. " Are we making pizza? Awesome, this will be a ton of fun!" Nolan chirped, turning and grabbing a towel as he dried them while watching Evangeline some more. He saw her trying to carry everything and rushed to finish drying his hands so he could help out a little more. Nolan left the sink and when he was about to go over to Evangeline, he saw her hit her head from under the counter. His eyes widened and he frowned at Evangeline, looking concerned since the sound of her head hitting made it look all the more painful. " Is your head okay? That looked like it hurt!" He said as he came up to her and gave her head a gentle pat. There wasn't a huge bump on her head, so that was a good sign! " Don't want anything happening to that pretty noggin of your's!" Nolan added before his hand left her head and he curiously leaned forward to get a better look at all of the materials laid out before them. " Wow, that's a lot of stuff! I had no idea cooking could be this complex!" Nolan expected it to be a lot easier seeming since people did it every day. Then again, some meals probably took a lot more steps than others. Either way, Nolan couldn't wait to give this whole cooking thing a try. " Okay, Chef Evangeline! Where do we start and how should I make myself of use to you?" Nolan questioned in a playful, 'professional' tone of voice.

Season: Fall || Tags: Nolan || Time: Afternoony || Notes: Evangeline is a flour ghost!Chuckling on the inside as the water continued to drip from her finger tips as she was tempted to flick it again but decided to be nice before he started to get annoyed. The first time was fun, but you never knew if the second time would annoy them. She often got scolded for doing so before her grandmother came into the picture frame, it wasn't very lovely for her. Even if she played around with her grandmother when it came to cooking, she never got the idea of doing something that was funny the first, a second time. Hearing the mermaid joke, she instantly looked down at her legs as if to make sure they weren't put together into fins or anything cause you could say, she was a bit scared of it. It's not that she didn't like the stories of mermaids, but the idea of swimming in water from spring all the way to summer over and over didn't sound very pleasant. [I wouldn't be surprised if you were secretly some type of smashing god either.] She joked back, writing it quickly before turning it around obviously relating back to the whack-a-mole moment from the Carnival.
Nodding at his pizza question, she was happy he didn't groan about it. Not many people enjoyed pizza often since it was pretty common now days, but it was still yummy when it came to flavor and taste. Of course this wasn't her first time cooking a pizza by herself, the last time she cooked one wasn't to long ago. Though she burnt it since she had decided to take a bit of a shower when it was cooking and started to relax before the burning smell lingered to her bathroom.
"Is your head okay? That looked like it hurt!" As she felt the head pat her head gently, her face flushed as she pulled herself up along with the heavy bag of flour and rolling pin and setting it quickly on the counter before she broke her arms. "Don't want anything happening to that pretty noggin of your's!" Her entire face lit up like a red light bulb as she turned around and reached for her note pad before writing towards him again, putting her note pad slightly high in front of her face to hide her light bulb face. Lowering it after she finished, her face settled down and it was just her cheeks for now. [It's fine, not anything new after all.] pretty true actually. Every time she turned around, she was getting hurt one way or the other.
Turning towards him, she put her hands on her hips like super man and smiled brightly as he commented the amount of supplies. She would admit, it wasn't exactly fun either but it worked well enough. Grabbing her sketch pad before she left him hanging on a string about the question, she didn't write slowly for now. [Hmm, We just got to knead the dough first!] Opening the new flour bag, instantly flour puffed into the air smacking her face, instantly her face turned white covered in flour, luckily none of it got into her eyes or her hair, just the tips. But she wouldn't of freaked out about it either ways since she could just wash it off. Instantly she turned towards Nolan and smiled before reaching into the bag to cover her hands with flour. Out of the corner of her eyes she stared at Nolan and smirked before grabbing his cheeks with her flour covered hands, leaving flour all over his cheeks. Maybe she was enjoying playing with her ingredients way to much.

Knead the dough? This was the first time Nolan ever heard someone say that to him. He tilted his head to the side with a clueless gaze at Evangeline, looking like a confused puppy with his big eyes. Kneading wasn't even something he saw before. Did it mean they had to punch dough or something? If so, Nolan wouldn't mind making pizza again. Who wouldn't like punching the tar out of food? Sounded like fun to him and seemed like an activity they should have had back in school in the cafeteria instead of having to come up with your own way to play with food. Once Evangeline opened the bag of flour, a big white cloud puffed out and Nolan gave it a surprised stare. " That bag of flour is dangerous! It's like a bomb went off as soon as it opened." If she had opened it any faster, Nolan wondered if the puff might have doubled in size and gotten all over the counter. Once Evangeline turned to face him, she had white all over her face and Nolan nearly laughed. Cooking was already starting to seem like a messy task. Good thing he didn't wear any fancy clothes or else he might end up having to wash out any stains. " Y-you look like a ghost!" Nolan laughed and he hugged his stomach, trying to stop laughing. After a few good chuckles he managed to calm down relatively fast. He had to admit, Evangeline would make one adorable ghost that he wouldn't mind being haunted by. Nolan didn't believe in superstitious things such as them but if they did exist, then he'd be a lot more careful with the things he did in fear of something always watching him. Seeing Evangeline's hands dig into the bag of flour, Nolan grinned as he folded his arms. " This is already turning out to be really messy! I wonder if I should have brought another pair of clothes." He pondered out loud, not even noticing that Evangeline was about to cover his face in flour, " "Or maybe even just some gloves and a mask..." Before going on, his cheeks were grasped by Evangeline and he blushed at her, being caught off guard from his random thinking out loud. A second passed and he soon realized that by touching his face, she left flour marks all over it. " Aw man! I'm a ghost now too!" He pouted with a childish frown and his arms still folded, looking like a child just as Evangeline did. They both looked like two kids having fun and they might as well have been. Nolan tilted his head away and also got his hands covered in flour. He was about to pull them back but in the process of moving, he accidentally tilted it against him and got flour all over his chest. " Darn bag of flour! It's evil, I swear!" He gasped as he quickly set the bag onto the counter before it tilted all the way and fell onto the flour in a big mess. Nolan had his arms out while looking down at his once clean sweatshirt, now covered in spots of messy flour. There was a pause before a mischievous smile spread over his lips and Nolan held his arms out towards Evangeline. " You look like you need a hug, Evangeline! Come here so I can share a nice, biiiig one with you~" He chimed, almost forgetting about the other materials set on the counter waiting for them to start making pizza.

Season: Fall || Tags: Nolan || Time: Afternoony || Notes: They totally forgot about dinner! XDAs she thought about it after Nolan mentioned it, Evangeline put her face above the bag as if looking for a bomb in there, curious if he was right. She wasn't exactly gullible, but when her grandmother opened the flour and never did this to her. Maybe the flour didn't like her at all, or maybe it was just waiting for this opportunity to come strike at her when she wanted to cook a pizza, she get bust in the face by flour. Of course Nolan's laughter made Evangeline smile, wishing she herself could laugh the way he did. It had been awhile since she actually played with her food and never got the idea she'd be in trouble or scared to do it, she had stared the mess and she didn't even feel like ending it either.
She didn't know if being a ghost was a good or bad thing and smiled a bit, making an inaudible laughter, her mouth open as if she was about to eat the air or something. Of course she quickly closed her mouth since she didn't like the idea of huffing in a bunch of flour down her throat, that didn't sound really good for dinner really. Grabbing her notepad that was covered a bit in flour, she slowly dusted it off to try and get the flour off it before righting. [ooooo~ I'll be haunting you everyday than!] She teased before turning it over in his direction.
Since they practically were playing with their food, she supposed she would find something for him to wear later, hope and pray it fit. She may of been a girl, but she did wear a few things to sleep that were meant for boys. She had a pair of large white plain t-shirts, and a few basketball pants that boys would use, the pants were stretchy so she thought Nolan would be able to, but it all depended on how messy this game became afterwards. She just hoped Nolan didn't get in trouble for getting his clothing dirty or anything. Of course, after she striked it took him awhile to actually notice what she did which made her smile a bit and put both her hands on her cheeks as if she was about to cry in a fan girl type of motion at how adorable he looked with white all over his cheeks like a ghost, just like her. [Now we're both ghosts and we can go spook people!] obviously teasing, she turned her notepad around after grabbing it and writing it, it was a bit hard since her fingers were covered in flour, but she manged even if her hand writing wasn't the best at the moment, it worked for now.
Watching as he put his own hands into the flour bag himself, she tilted her whole body to the side to watch him only to see it fall on his shirt, she covered her mouth to hide her smile and inside giggles as he began to protest the bag itself was evil as if it was an evil spirit inside it also, and it just didn't like Nolan at all! She felt pretty bad for his luck over at her house, along with the luck he had back at the Carnival to. Slowly walking up behind him as she peered at the counter and smiled, letting her arms drape at her sides, she instantly saw his smile and knew instantly it wasn't a good type of smile, but more of one of the smiles you gave when you were about to do something back in a humor type of way. "You look like you need a hug, Evangeline! Come here so I can share a nice, biiiig one with you~" If it wasn't for her floured face, you could've seen the blush on her face but of course her blush couldn't heat through a layer of flour, she found herself putting a hand on his shoulder before smiling herself but quickly turned around and got ready to dash away before he got her into a messy hug.

Not very many 'adults' had the opportunity to have innocent, childish fun and Nolan didn't want to let the moment slip by at all. He couldn't remember the last time he honestly felt so care-free and all of his nerves and concerns about ruining their time together vanished. Nolan no longer had his mind set on losing their precious time together. Instead, he felt at ease with Evangeline and the complete flour mess they were making managed to help Nolan one hundred percent be his normal, spirited self. When Evangeline made her fan girl like face, Nolan's heart nearly soared. It honestly the cutest expression he ever saw and made him beam even more. No matter what the girl did, he always found himself quietly quietly admiring how cute or sweet she was. Even with flour all over her face, Nolan wasn't sure if Evangeline could be a scary ghost and more so one of those little chibi ones that seemed to haunt people for a hug. Going to spook people as ghosts sounded like a lot of fun and though Evangeline said it jokingly, Nolan silently made a note of the idea. For some other time it could make a pretty fun way to pull of a prank. Probably would work best with the younger crowd so it couldn't be too scary or else Nolan would end up feeling bad about it afterward. Before Nolan could get his arms around Evangeline she had already made a run for it. His mischievous smile only broadened as he left the counter and began to jog out of the kitchen after Evangeline. His feet nearly slid across the slick floor but luckily he didn't fall flat on his face. " Oooo~ Come here, Evangelineee! The ghost wants to give you a hug! Join him!" He teased in a playful, ghost-like voice while trying to hide back a laugh trying to escape from his mouth. Loose particles of flour rolled off his shirt while he dashed after her. Reaching the living room made it hard to speed in a straight line and Nolan had to dodge quite a few obstacles. Nothing got broken but he could have swore he almost twisted his ankle when attempting to step around the edge of the living room table. Nolan finally got close to Evangeline, nearly out of air due to not preparing before launching off into a chase. His arms nearly scooped Evangeline carefully against him and they wrapped around her. " Gotcha!" He chimed in a sing-song voice though also sounding a bit out of breath. Nolan's arms were loose around her, easy for her to pretty much walk out of at any moment.
