"Society" writer Geoff Johns has confirmed earlier rumors that "Society" will be told in two parts - and one of those two parts will be directed by Tom Welling.
On Twitter tonight, Geoff confirmed that "Society" "is actually an insane DCU infused two-part epic."
He says that Part I is called "Society" and Part II is called "Legends." Glen Winter is still on board to direct "Society" and Tom Welling is directing "Legends." "They both brought so much to Legion," he says.
Johns credits executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders with making this happen. "They wanted it to be HUGE and they wanted the guest characters done right."

'Smallville' movie gets a title!
It’s official: Smallville’s upcoming two-hour Justice Society-centric “movie” is now an actual movie.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that The CW has jettisoned the separate titles that were initially assigned to each of the two episodes — “Society” and “Legends,” respectively — in favor of the singularly sensational (and far more marketable) Smallville: Absolute Justice.
What’s more, I hear the movie — which marks the debut of Michael Shanks as Hawkman (pictured) — will air as a seamless two-hour event with only one set of credits.
By the way, the air date for Smallville: Absolute Justice was recently changed from Jan. 29 to Feb. 5. Adjust your schedules accordingly.

Me cayeron bien el Dr. Fate, Stargirl y Hawkman! Aunque al principio hubiera querido que fueran más villanos que Icicle, estuvo bastante bien para ser el solo.
También la última pelea, quedó bien pavita :)
Me dió mucha risa con Dr. Fate cuando Lois le dice que el casco se le ve bien, y el "Thank You" :P
Por lo que entiendo, esto de "Checkmate", lo que están tratando es que los de la Liga de la Justica y los demás héroes, y tal, se unan para pelear contra Zod y los demás de Kandor, pa que no pase lo de "Pandora".

Mmm...estuvo bueno, pero esperaba algo más WTfuckeante la verdd...
Creo que me desagradó un poco el villano, osea el chibolo malcriado ese podia con todos y les daba de madre! XD :lol: Los trajes tampoco me cuadraban mucho, ni la voz de Hawkman cuando se ponía el disfraz. Parecia que se habia fumado 100000000 cigarros. XD :lol:
Del resto me gustó. Bueno ver al marciano de nuevo. Lo de la asociación esa del ajedrez esta bacan... Yo tambien asumo que quieren evitar lo de Pandora, pero como?
La pelea del final tambien estuvo bacan. Aunque como capitulo en general, 'Pandora' me gustó muchisimo más.

jajaja :lol: lo de Hawkman a mi también me "molesto" aveces xD jajajaja Y hay una parte en que el habla como si estuviera el traje cuando no lo tiene, y yo como "WTF se les pasó eso :P"
A mi el epi me gustó bastante, el de Pandora estuvo bueno, pero como fue algo que en realidad no pasó, entonces le quita bastantes puntos xD Pero admito que la primera parte hubo demasiados dialogos, sobretodo de Chloe!
