after you read the rules and plot, come here and post your application. remember tat you need the phrase from the rules, to be accepted and blah blah. give the form detail, make your characters interesting. once we move your application to the 'district records' forum, then and only then, can you start to role play.

plotting and shipping.
create and control your social network. make and break your friendships. remember that plots are to be thought up here, then played out on the boards. lets throw some drama around and make some noise. create different plots for everyone and make them interesting, be colorful. make your threads original and readable. no over the top plot lines unless discussed with an admin beforehand.

memorial hall.
a small hall, used for council meetings, b and s balls, art shows and a few other little things. Its left open most of the time so people can just walk in and do what ever they please. though no-one really does. but this town has changed alot lately, who knows what will occur in here nowadays.

terrys truckstop.
a place that does repairs, fills up the gas and has coffee and other yummy snacks availiable. this place sells magazines and other groceries, they even do deliveries. but they will only go as far at medlow bath. they are quite busy with all the tourists and trucks. they hold trivia nights and line dancing competitions.

old meads farm.
a little abandoned farm, in the middle of nowhere. it became unowned in 1992 and no-one has ever done anything with it. its just sitting here. its all over grown and the cottage is dusty and falling apart. no-one really has a purpose to be here, but a few people stop and photograph it, its kinda becoming an attraction these days.

linley street.
although a quiet town, hartly has its own little place where most of the population reside. A street lined with shops and cafes. nothing to fancy, but it's a nice little place to hang out. A few country folk come here to talk business or grab a burger after a hard days work. there a few nice little boutiques and little bookshops around here too.

rose inn.
a very old, little inn. its so old and historic that it has become a tourist attraction in it self. the building is made completely out of wood and the art in here is all original and extremely ancient. there is one little restaurant in here that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and almost all of it is a buffet. its not much, but its pretty cute.

talisman gallery.
a little art gallery here in hartley, with alot of metal works and other interesting sculptings. there is a small cafe that sells donuts and bagels. the gallery is very popular, not so much on the historic side though, like most of the other places in the mountains.

withers and things.
]this place sells products for animals like cleaning agents, food, toys, and because keelston is right in the midst of the country, they sell feed, drench and other materials for livestock. withers and things sells some pretty handy things in here. pets are also available for adoption on occasion.

cherrystome apartments.
these apartments have been here for decades but they have been renovated a few years back. this building is next to the memorial park. it hold about fifty people. the apartments have a maximum of three bedrooms if your lucky, but they are cosy and nice in winter.

ivanhoe pub.
the local pub where everyone goes after a hard days work on the farm. they sell a wide variety of beer and other booze. of course they have the pool table and dart board. the tv is always on for people who like to watch the footy or the horse racing. even karaoke is an option.

ivanhoe motel.
just above the pub, is the motel. its nothing to fancy, but it'll do for the night if your wasted or your just to lazy to walk back home. pretty cheap and warm indoors. the mini bar isnt to impressive, but you'll get by. the telly's reception isnt that great, but you can still watch the news if youre desperate. a double bed in each room, only.

maybell antiques.
a small antique shop on the corner. only very small. but this gets most of its antiques donated or bought from second hand shops. nothing in here is to expensive and its not a very popular shop, but a few people do have abit of a browse in here. oh, and it kinda smells funny. its run by an old lady after all.

bobs tucker.
one of the most populated cafes around. people love it because its such a friendy place. they just upgraded so its now bigger and it even has a pool table and a dart board. the local hang out for most teens, since the chips here are the best for miles. open by six in the morning and closing a midnight almost every night. they also give discounts on mass orders

mount blackheath lookout.
thats exactly what it is. a lookout of mount blackheath. not really known for much, but its pretty big and some of the best photo's are taken here. the sunsets are wonderful and you can see for miles over the mountains.
it has a huge base with benches and tables where people can eat their lunch. its a great little place.

everyone goes around wearing rm williams boots and shirts, not to mention the super cool hats and belts. everyones favorite shop in the blue mountains. the store here in blackheath is one of the biggest around. selling clothing and accessories for men, women and children, and great saddlery. it can be a little pricey. but most people get discounts because of the common country hospitality.

a few blocks down from the town is the showground. a very large showground where they hold horse shows, rodeos, carnivals and livestock sales.

blackheath grange.
these ones are older apartments, but still nice. these are located in just the right place. only a five minute walk to the village and a close drive down to megalong valley. these are pretty cheap, but very livable. a popular pub is on the lobby floor, open twenty-four hours, it features the usual pub stuff, you know, tv, pool table, dart board and all those goodies

megalong valley heritage farm.
down the mountain from blackheath is a huge farm, reaching over two thousand acres, surrounded by mountains. It gets abit chilly down here, in winter there is frost on the grass and the taps freeze up, causing no hot water. the place is lovely. tourists come here to see the wonderful scenery and to go on trail rides. the people are amazingly nice and there is so much to do down here.

the tea rooms.
just down the road from the farm, is a tiny little cafe. they sell all different kinda of australian tea and biscuits. of course you can have coffee and donuts if you so desire, but, they do make the best billy tea in all the land. the little place is surrounded by paddocks and mountains. it is in a valley after all.

old ford glen.
one of the picnic trails off the side of megalong road. this is one of the best picnic grounds, with the megalong creek next to the eating area. people camp here and have little get togethers here. the scenery is amazing and only a short drive down the heritage farm.

bronzwick inn.
a big inn. with two pools. one indoor, one outdoor. a few nice restaurants here and there and a day spa. one of the fanciest places up here in the mountains. this is on top of a cliff in katoomba and looks down into the megalong valley. a wonderful place for tourists.

st. mercy.
a brand new teaching hospital. very fancy with all the state of the art equipment and highly educated surgeons and doctors. it is located in quite a high profile spot, but still calm in that. ts an interesting place for a hospital but alot of accidents happen out here in the country.

the edge cinema.
one of the newest and biggest cinemas around. this place has the biggest screen in australia and shows more movies then most places around the country. it has only just finished being developed and is now open to the public. it is very popular and business is good. its just in the right place too.

melrose park.
just a park like any other. it has swings, a slide and a sand pit fr the little kiddies to play around in and also a few benches and tables to eat your lunch on. the park looks out over the mountains and has a little stream down the hill where ducks come and swim. there are a few other little creatures around too.

lurline street.
the main street of katoomba, with many cafes and restaurants along it. the town comes alive at night, lots of lights and music. this main street is also where festivals like the six foot track marathon and the winter magic festival are held each year.

katoomba high.
everyone from lithgow to kurrajong heights goes here and everyone knows everyone. its the only school within a distance that people would be willing to travel. there is only about two hundred and fifty kids who go here, getting smaller each year. the teachers are old and the school is falling apart, but people seem to like it for what it is.

rochester park.
these luxury townhouses have just been completed. out of the forty, only about seven are occupied. three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a study is the average house, but if you are really lucky then you may be able to get a four bedroom house with three bathrooms and a bigger living space. these are situated in a great place that is close to everything.

medlow showground.
a small place. the horse and cattle sales and a few small rodeos are held here. the horse sales go from eight in the morning until four, on saturdays. there is a small cafe selling hot chips and coffee, although the coffee here isn't the best. a small indoor area with a round yard, where the sales take place, another outside, in case its a nice day.

little cafe.
the popular teen hang out joint. its a cheap little place with very friendly staff. a few couches and tables, with a fireplace in the back. the owner is known by everyone, charlie his name is. he has made alot of friends and has won awards for hospitality, voted by the teens. it has framed picture up on the wall of the country life and other various things. very comfy.

general pants co.
this clothing store is a little pricey. its very popular as well. it sells all the in things that arnt so country looking, but you do get the occasional checkered shirt. some of the stuff is abit out there, but people tend to love it. the music is always blaring and the people are so friendly.

dustys icecream and grill.
one of the newest little cafes in medlow bath its very popular too. this place sells the best icecream and hot dogs in all the land. A few little tables sit in the corner and a television over head. The country music channel, racing or footy is always on. And they always have it up loud enough. the people here are very friendly and did i mention they have have over twenty flavors of the cream!

dusty range estate.
these are great little places to live, but because this is such a small town, not many people live here. this town is only populated with only one hundred or so people. these condo's have a great look out onto the jameson valley and the three sisters.
