$20 PSN card. Bought more RB songs.

Iron Maidens "Maiden Epics" (even though I only vaguely know one song from the pack, my other 9 IM songs got a ton of play time.)
- "Infinite Dreams
- Phantom of the Opera
- Rime of the Ancient Mariner
- Seventh son of a Seventh Son
- Prisoner
- Flight of Icarus
Edens Curse ft. James Labraei - No Holy Man
Alice Cooper - Schools Out (Live)
Neil Peart - The Hockey Theme (not really a guitar song, but Neil is a fantastic drummer, and at only $1, why not?)

Saved $6 for two B4MV songs and two $1 RBN songs coming Tuesday. Will post here again when I get them. After those four, I will have 707 songs with one of the Iron Maiden songs being #700.

Bought a bottle of Jim Beam Honey. It's not bad, not as good as the Wild Turkey one though.

Four more RB songs.

B4MV - Tears Don't Fall (I think Ducksfan showed me this song.)
B4MV - Scream Aim Fire
Chaotrope - The Fall of Psilanthropy
Giraffes? Giraffes! - I am S/H(im)e[r] as You am S/H(im)e[r] as You are Me and We am I and I are All Our Together

I only wanted the last one for the long song title. But I've seen the beginning of the chart and it looks pretty crazy. I guess I'll find out for sure after the download. First indie song I've actually paid for.

I previewed all 34 (36 but I have the 2 free ones so I won't do those) HMX songs labeled as Indie Rock.

Songs that I might actually consider getting: Jerk It Out, This Charming Man
2/34.

And since PS3s RBN only has 46 Indie songs, let me do the same: I Know What I Am + S/H(im)e[r]
2/46 RBN

4/80 total with one of them being a GH-WoR repeat. Not a great genre for me.

Let's not use Harmonix's genre labels. Science has proven that they don't know what the fuck they're talking about a good amount of the time.

That and "indie" is probably the most ambiguous and inclusive term in music nowadays.

I'd say the genres are 95% accurate. It's the difficulty tiers that are messed up. Same with a few of the charts. Speaking of which, has anyone seen the solo for Scream Aim Fire? The one part is pretty much Afterlife solo D, but faster. Don't see that one getting FCd soon.

I would classify indie rock as a very soft form of (mainstream) rock music. The instruments are usually there, but Vocals usually stand out much more often. Something like Pumped Up Kicks, one of the very few indie songs I would easily pay for. Thankfully it's in Blitz anyways.

Am I the only one that finds this part strange?
