Changes to the Forum

Hello! For the first time since the forum's inception, SPV3 is undergoing an overhaul to its appearance and systems.

I'll list all the changes here. There's no defined date for these changes, but it'll be done... soon.

Likes
The Like system is being changed. Now, when someone likes your post, you are given a PM to alert you of this. Tired of making a post and not knowing if someone loves you? Well, this change fixes it!

In addition, there's now a dislike button! Tired of making a post and not knowing if someone hates you? Well, this change fixes it! It had been requested for quite some time, so here it is.


Quotes
If someone quotes your post, you get a PM.


Entertainment Discussion
Entertainment Discussion is being split into separate forums. We're going to have "TV Discussion", "Movie Discussion", "Video Game Discussion" and "Music Discussion". Within these, there's "Anime Discussion", "Cartoon Discussion" and "Live Action Discussion" for TV Discussion, "Comedy", "Fantasy", "Other Genres No One Cares About" for Movie Discussion, "Xbox 360", "PS3" and "CASUAL" for Video Game Discussion, and "Metal" and "No one cares" for Music Discussion.

Also, Song Contests are being changed. Or rather, the forum is being changed to accommodate them! As soon as the songs are put up, if you visit the forum, it'll play the songs for you in a row. There are a few problems in that it still does if you didn't enter, you can't mute them, and it resets to the first song if you change to a different thread or forum, but we think these are okay.


Announcements
Only Admins can post threads and replies in Announcements. When someone posts, it will alert everyone with a popup.


High Definition... and 3D!
This is the big one! Imagine viewing the forum in 3D! Watch Romanticide's pink pop out at you, Saiyan's illogical ramblings be in the same room as you (actually that's not attractive) and, of course, PARTY HARD IN 3D!

If you can't run 3D, or are scared of looking like a twat with the glasses, there's still High Definition! Everything looks so real! You can read between the lines in Werewolf... and speaking of Werewolf...


Werewolf Games
We've come up with a version of Werewolf which requires only three people and you can post once a year. We're unveiling it soon. In addition, the forum supports it. Every time you post on the forum, you gain one more vote in the lynch that day. Also, there are no nights, and everyone is a Werewolf.


Chat
The Chatango is going, being replaced with a music player that opens a new window when you use it.


New Title
And, of course, the forum will now be called TSSPV4. The Super Secret Project Version 4! Tell all your friends!

Dun like the idea of getting PMs for being liked and quoted. Unless you can turn it off.

Why do we need a music player on here? It won't get used.

Liking the new changes.
As for the music player, sure why not. I don't mind it, although I don't see why we can't just keep chatango.

And I also hope you can choose to turn on/off the like and quote PMs.

That feature becomes available a week after the PM system goes up, so you can see if you like it or not.

It's pink after the 3D, cuz the glasses don't work right.

I love the 3D addition! Probably the best idea anybody has come up on here! I like the music player too, so I can spam my favorite artists: Justin Bieber, Lana Del Rey, Nicki Minaj, Lil' Wayne, Tyler the Creator, Lil' B, and Soulja Boy! So happy with this change. Thank you so much Marill.
