SPV3 Awards - Ceremony Time!

So, today, SPV3 is a year old. Can you believe it? Back then, a few of you weren't even here. One year ago today, it was announced GH had been shelved. Olinea was still around, we were in the middle of WWXI. If you think about it, SPV3 has come a LONG way. From that awful red skin I left on it overnight on the 9th to the ThunderCurls incident, SPV3's been battered through just about everything.

Naturally, I wanted to celebrate this, and I was lost for ideas for quite a while. I was considering doing a parody "update" post, with announcements like "Likes" on posts giving you PMs and such, but that didn't seem to honour the forum. So Snow, being the amazing person he is, came up with the idea for the SPV3 awards!

The rules are simple. Copy the list of categories into a PM to me, then I'll count them up and post the results next week. Sounds easy, no? For some of the more "vague" ones, I'll count two votes indicating the same thing as the same thing, if that makes sense. If you don't have an answer for some, just do "----" or something. Remember, the votes are only from THIS forum, from February 9th to February 9th!

Define 'of the year'. Like, from February this time last year to now, or from 2011-now, or what?

Marill specified in the chat that he means all of 2011, none of 2012.

Can we vote for our own threads? I'm guessing no, but he didn't specify.

And this should definitely be an annual thing, on the anniversary of the forum.

I thought I had specified OP, sorry; from February 9th 2011 to February 9th 2012.

I suprisingly struggled with Game Of The Year. I wasn't aware I have bought so few games this year. The games I still play on a daily basis are RB3 and GT5, both of which came out in 2010. This year will be different, I plan on getting Twisted Metal when that lowers in price, GTA-V on day one (rumored for an October release), and what ever GH and RB bring out this year.

I haven't played Skyrim, but even if I did I probably wouldn't vote for it. Oblivion was a great game, but it didn't pull me in that great, especially not the main story. Portal 2 and Uncharted 3 imo were more entertaining than Oblivion and I'm sure Oblivion is on par with Skyrim in the things that matter the most.
