I do these surveys online so I can get giftcards. And one of them didn't work so I complained about it, and I just got an e- mail saying they are re-issuing my giftcard... doesn't really make sense but if I'm getting another $25 gamestop giftcard then I am okay with that :D

yea you do have to do quite a few... they will e-mail you when you have one available, and sometimes you don't qualify for the surveys but you get a couple "points" for trying anyways. It takes about 300 points to get a $25 giftcard, and if you complete a survey you can get anywhere from 15 to about 50 points. But the other times you only get about 3 points. So yea, it can take awhile to get a giftcard but it's still free, so why not.

I think to become a member you have to be invited. I got mine through gamestop. It's called U.Talk.Back or something.

I just beat Morty's last two Pokemon (lv25 Gengar and lv23 Haunter) with my lv18/19 Togepi. I have no idea how.
