Title: Wolfie's Zelda Run
Description: Because Zelda II doesn't count

ugxwolf - March 6, 2012 05:21 PM (GMT)
Short version: I want to be able to say I've beaten all of the Zelda games, so I'll make a thread to keep track. (And then probably almost never update it. It's my curse, isn't it?) So let's start with THE LIST!

The Legend of Zelda (Just finished Level 3)
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (At the end of the Swamp Palace)
Link to the Past (I plan to do a challenge for this. I'll look some up, though, cause I couldn't possibly get through a 3HR on this game.)
Link's Awakening
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
Oracle of Seasons (Linked from Ages; heading for the third dungeon)
Oracle of Ages
Windwaker
Four Swords (I will probably do this again, anyway.)
Four Swords Adventures
Minish Cap
Twilight Princess
Phantom Hourglass
Spirit Tracks
Skyward Sword

Green = complete
Yellow = over halfway (position noted next to the specific game)
Orange = under halfway (position noted next to the specific game)
Red = just started
Black = haven't even played it
Purple = in a challenge (Challenge noted in parentheses)

Red may also refer to games I started long ago and haven't touched again, yet, but have to start over, anyway.

Due to Saiyan and Ro/Volt's note, I will eventually do actual challenges and CD-i games, but I will only note them when they come up (for CD-i) or will have special notation for challenges.

By beaten, do you mean just beaten, or 100% completion?

MementoVivere - March 7, 2012 01:14 AM (GMT)
Needs moar CD-i games.

Damn. I knew I forgot to add something.

Also, this is the primary challenge, so I mean beaten. Not 100%. (C'mon, Zelda II's gonna be hard enough, as is!)

As for the CD-i games, they can go fuck themselves, but I'll probably pick them up for a laugh sooner or later.

The title to this thread was so misleading... and here I thought you were going to do the 3-heart challenge or something (a thread akin to Marill's Nuzlocke).

ugxwolf - March 9, 2012 05:12 AM (GMT)
Actually, Saiyan raises an extremely legitimate point...

Saiyan... legitimate point...

Nope. Can't figure that one out.

Anyways, he's right. This isn't a challenge. I'm not even going for 100% or making the game harder than it needs to be. I'm just going. "I'll just beat the games and it'll all be cool.

So I oblige. Games I've already beaten, there is a legitimate chance I will go for 100% or a 3HR challenge or something else. Until I start that, though, I'll rename this thread the Zelda RUN. Not challenge.

Although, Zelda II >w>

Tonight, I'm playing Zelda, the original. I'll be keeping an update when I beat each level and I will keep in this post what I have.

6 hearts
3 triforce pieces
Boomerang L-2
Bombs
Bow (no arrows)
Raft

I went back and got some bombs. Also got full health. Energy blades FTW.
