Come one, come all, to the very first second Song Contest! Do you have a song that you think should be shared with everybody on the boards? Are you looking for new music? Do you enjoy getting points? Well, all you need to do is enter!

How this works
1. Pick a song
2. Put your junk in that song
3. Make her listen to that song

How this really works
1. Pick a song. Generally you shouldn't be going to stuff people know. You're not whoring for points, it shouldn't come down to "Oh, do I like Stairway to Heaven or Hotel California more?". Something that you want to share, that you don't think others may have found without you.
2. Pick a famous person from history. This is for identity purposes, and in no way is your person required to relate to your song.
3. Get a link to your song. Youtube and Grooveshark are two big ones.
4. Get a representative picture of your artist. Preferably dimensions 400x400 to make this easier on me.
5. Send a PM to "Song Contest" with your artist, song title, link to the song, picture, and person you are entering as. Since this is the first time we're running through this, people will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, so have a couple of backups in mind, or send a few backups in your first PM.
6. Wait until Wednesday when the songs are released.
7. Listen to the songs.
8. Vote on your favorites. Voting is conducted as such:



Failure to vote will result in a 20 point penalty, so make sure to get those votes in! Remember that you cannot vote for yourself, and do not under any circumstances vote in song titles or artist names.

It is advised that you do not enter previously entered songs or artists.
