Relationships: Freddie is Bowie's older brother by four years. While Bowie and Freddie were growing up, she considered him to be her best friend. They were pretty close as far as siblings were considered. They never went through the whole sibling rivalry. Both the Levine children were born and raised in Mariet, so Freddie has his share of friends in the town. One of these being August Wexler. They had been friends for years. But Freddie didn't tell anyone when he left. Not his family or his friends.

Personality:
Freddie is incredibly friendly and charming. He's never had problems making friends, no matter where he goes. He's slow to anger, quick to start a conversation, and he can be a bit persistent too when he wants to be. So whether you want him to or not, he's got a way or working himself into your heart, or at least into your brain.

Freddie wants desperately to do something important with his life. He thinks that he's meant to do something with his life. He refuses to just throw it away. That's why he ran away. At the time, just eighteen years old, he believed that his great something lived beyond Mariet. He just had to find it. Over the years he traveled and worked, he volunteered in hospitals, helped in shelters, while trying to keep part time jobs to support himself as well. He did a lot of good, but nothing felt like his great something, so after some time, he'd pick up and move again.

Although Fred wants to do something great, he is also very superstitious. When he was a child, his father had said something, that maybe he ought not to have said. He said, "Levine's die young." Which was true. Going a couple generations back the Levine's did in fact die rather young, from illnesses, or accidents, in fights, you name it. His father's death seemed to confirm this for Freddie. It was a family curse. As much as he wants to find the great something that defines his life, he also fears the great something will be the thing that kills him at an early age, or that he'll die before he finds his something. The older he gets, the more afraid he gets of death. He's only twenty five, but he wakes up some mornings convinced that it is the last day he'll spend on Earth. He panics.

In his time in shelters and hospitals Freddie has met all types of people. He's learned that people aren't always as they appear to be, and because of this he is very non judgmental. He was pretty accepting from the start, sure, but his trip out in the world broadened his horizons.

He's very caring of people, and he wants to help anyone who looks like they might be in need. When he sees someone who's in bad shape, or upset, he can't help himself. Despite any guy reaction telling him to leave it alone, he jumps in to help that person, no matter who it may be.

History; Freddie is the oldest child in the Levine home. Raised by his father, Nick, and mother, Harper. When he was four years old, his little sister Bowie came in to the picture. He adored Bowie. At eight the Levine house lost Nick. It was a lot to coupe with. Bowie was still very young, and didn't understand, but at eight Freddie was rather effected by the loss. It hurt him. It also reinforced what he was told. Levine's die young.

His teenaged years didn't involve too many hardships. Not more than the typical teenaged life. Ups and downs of course, but that was typical. The biggest struggle he had is the one he still has, and that is finding what he calls his great something. There is something out there that he believes will define his life, make it something, and not a waste of time.

At eighteen he left home... well... he ran away. He felt like if he told anyone what he was doing that they'd refuse, try to keep him here like a caged bird. And that wasn't Freddie. He had to be free. He had to go out and find his something. He traveled all through the states while he was gone. And once he left, he just kept running. He was afraid to call or write, afraid what they would say would make him come back, or feel guilty. Because of this, he doesn't yet know that his mother passed away.

Now at the age of twenty five, seven years after leaving Mariet, it is time to come home. He has been gone far too long. He misses his mother, his sister, his friends. Will they still remember him? Want to see him? He hopes so, because as he gets older, he becomes more afraid that the end is coming, and he needed his family, and the people he loves. The worst thing he could do to them is die without coming back and telling them he loves them at least one more time.
