I was in a group owned sandbox today, actually I am a member of the group that owes that particular sandbox. Without warning myself and most of the people there were teleported against our wishes to multiple places around SL. Winding up in the Cornfields. The only defence to this is to log out of SL and go to another sim, do not re-log to the last sim you were teleported to. Change the viewer setting upon re-log to "home" if you have one set or another sim. You can't teleport away from this or use landmarks when this happens. Come to find out this is a exploit being used by griefers with the new experience tools. This new tool function llTeleportGlobalCoords(http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlTeleportAgentGlobalCoords) is suppose to ask for llRequestPermissions from the avatars to be transported. It seems it's borked and doesn't need that permission in certain simulators. There by making it a effective griefing tool when made into a hud. LL is in the process now of restarting the affected sims to stop this from happening.
QUOTE
To solve a security issue with the Experience Tools that were deployed to Magnum last week we are doing an emergency simulator rolling restart deploy. This has already begun.
There is a JIRA https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-28743? And posts about this on the SL forums ( http://community.secondlife.com/t5/General...g/td-p/1559079) and SLU( http://www.sluniverse.com/php/vb/general-s...tml#post1568417 ). It happened to me twice today. I thought I'd post this for people that had this happen to them and wondering what was going on. LL released experience tools without checking them first to make sure it was working properly. I don't have a lot of confidence in them to fix it in a proper fashion. Avatars of SL beware !
