I'm having so much trouble!!!
tybalt13 - March 14, 2006 05:06 PM (GMT)
Okay...
I know how to indent. I am proud to say that. Though this far along in the game...excuse me, I meant the Mount Everest of games...I am embarrassed to be this stuck. I have copied the words to MS Word, and indented, I have changed the size of the font and still found nothing. Does anybody have any help they can give.
Riddler: I was on such a roll! ARGH! HELP! My brain tried to rest over the weekend...but NOPE! It was stuck on indenting and stuff. HELP!
Riddler of Riddlers - March 14, 2006 05:40 PM (GMT)
Indent does not mean 'tab' in this case.
tybalt13 - March 14, 2006 05:49 PM (GMT)
Okay...finally got it...though I was stuck tabbing...thank you mr. riddle
LUCHIS - March 30, 2006 04:54 AM (GMT)
So indenting is NOT tabbing?? Then what is it? What do you mean with [EDIT]?
LUCHIS - March 30, 2006 05:12 AM (GMT)
lek535 - March 30, 2006 05:16 AM (GMT)
i'm lost too- i don't understand how we should be getting a word by indenting
ok got it
dariusenka - April 16, 2006 02:12 PM (GMT)
its getting hard for us non-english speakers... have no idea what to do. tried sever sites about indenting, but dont know how to do that.
Riddler of Riddlers - April 16, 2006 02:28 PM (GMT)
You don't need any other site. Just increase your indents...
1 indent = 1 space

quoting mr. riddler
does it mean that i have to move it to MSword? tried but canot find indenting, if it is somewhere in tools or elswhere or maybe im, as you say, WAY OFF THE MARK. my msword is in slovak language, you know.
Riddler of Riddlers - April 16, 2006 03:57 PM (GMT)
You could use MSWord if you want to, but it's not required. I don't think there's an indenting key for MSword other than the Tab one but you don't need tab.
1 indent = 1 space
Add another space before each word for every new line.

Riddler of Riddlers - April 16, 2006 05:25 PM (GMT)
I can't really tell you what you're supposed to see in the forum but if you PM me then I'll be more than happy to tell you :)

riddler is my saviour (have i spelled it right?) :D
Icantype - April 28, 2006 04:24 PM (GMT)
For those of you still stuck -- ask someone who has used a typewriter what they used as an alternative to the Tab key when indenting.
The indenting is a little difficult with Word, which, unlike a typewriter, varies the width it assigns to each letter and space. If you can't access a typewriter (OK, so I'm showing my age here), trying using grid paper, one letter to a box.

Useing grid paper words really well! I was having trouble with MS word but grid paper did the trick. Just move the next word over one box and you should see something!
onto number 53 :]
wise_dude321 - July 23, 2006 04:15 PM (GMT)
Grid paper is also a good idea. but if you don't want to do it manually use, notpad/wordpad/the font courier new
ajrb1983 - December 2, 2006 05:02 PM (GMT)
I'm stuck.
Maybe I need to take a break from all these for awhile.
Hints anyone?
ruriko - December 3, 2006 06:08 AM (GMT)
