Is this a language... or a granma?
or is a granama using a language for fun?
Riddler of Riddlers - February 17, 2006 10:16 PM (GMT)
It's a language. Not a granma.
However, a granma in a language would be easy to piss you all off :D
LizzyB - February 17, 2006 10:23 PM (GMT)
Believe me my kids have done a good job already of doing that today.... I came to destress if thats possible when riddling...
I think I got part of a language
james - February 22, 2006 12:58 AM (GMT)
can someone give me the meaning to the second word? i translated it and i got back about 15 different meanings..
Riddler of Riddlers - February 22, 2006 01:01 AM (GMT)
By doing it your way, if you translate all the words separately then you can figure out what the other word is.
drusilla120 - March 4, 2006 03:26 PM (GMT)
I'm not sure on my translation - are we looking for a year, or a place? (No entry in Wikipedia for this one!! ARRGH!!)
LizzyB - March 4, 2006 03:34 PM (GMT)
Find the language... translate each word seperatly if they need it!
Then as with all translations the grammer isnt always correct so read it carefully it should ask you a question.
drusilla120 - March 5, 2006 06:35 PM (GMT)
Well I kinda get a question... but that question doesn't make any sense. I've tried guessing the first word, and inputting the answers, but none of them seem to be right.
deadparrot - March 5, 2006 07:06 PM (GMT)
The title might help you work out the literal translation problems.
Riddler of Riddlers - March 5, 2006 07:07 PM (GMT)
Obviously the translation wont make sense, but it should basically ask you a certain question. It's best to translate each word separately.
babyloulou21 - March 14, 2006 05:43 PM (GMT)
Can anyone suggest any good translation sites i am having no luck with any of the ones iv tried.
LizzyB - March 14, 2006 06:56 PM (GMT)
The one I used seems to have been overun, and not working... I wonder why :P maybe you can PM me with anything you have and I can pass on the translation I had... you still have to sort it out gramatically from there.
Tony - March 14, 2006 09:48 PM (GMT)
PMed you cos i cant find a good translator ^^
LONE.SC - March 16, 2006 06:06 PM (GMT)
I´m having trouble translating right.
A kick in the right direction would help.
weeleigh - March 20, 2006 09:19 PM (GMT)
Thanks LizzyB, that would have taken me forever... the translator I was using was sending me in the totally wrong direction. :(
Confuzzled - March 23, 2006 05:37 AM (GMT)
Since this word keeps popping up and has nothing to do with this riddle, what the heck is a "granma" or "granama" or whatever?
LizzyB - March 23, 2006 08:18 AM (GMT)
ah well A GRANAMA is a very useful person.. used alot in riddles to solve things.... she swaps the letters round... try it...shes well loved by riddle solvers.
Riddler of Riddlers - March 23, 2006 12:17 PM (GMT)

Confuzzled - March 24, 2006 12:58 AM (GMT)

Riddler of Riddlers - March 24, 2006 01:02 AM (GMT)
Internet? That has basically everything, reaching from rare fish that no one has ever heard of (*ahem*..3rd Riddle) to nudity..(*ahem*..99th Riddle..CHECK IT OUT!)
Confuzzled - March 24, 2006 01:09 AM (GMT)

Narla - April 4, 2006 10:14 PM (GMT)
I think I have found a good translator, but this still makes no sense to me. I'm having GREAT difficulty with the last two words. Any websites I find do not have them together. I think it is a name but...*sigh* I am soooo lost. Help please?
Granama was no help either. :(
Thanks in advance.
Riddler of Riddlers - April 4, 2006 11:26 PM (GMT)
Last two words is the last name of the person you're looking for and the keyword to find the answer, respectively.
Narla - April 5, 2006 12:56 PM (GMT)
Riddler your post really helped out. Still had to work for it though.
I got it before I went to bed last night. It took me close to an entire day.
I love your site!
It's like an internet scavenger hunt!
aruba - April 6, 2006 07:54 PM (GMT)
I've got the translation, or at least I think I do. I tried putting the last two words together as a last name, as stated above, but nothing comes up when I search it. Anything more anyone can tell me?

Can someone answer this please? :)
Riddler of Riddlers - April 14, 2006 01:49 PM (GMT)
If you translate it correctly, you can eliminate either YEAR or PLACE, depending on the question.
For example: Who are you?
You wouldn't answer where you are or when you are..right? :)
sleeptodream - April 15, 2006 01:51 AM (GMT)
Meh, I must not be translating correctly then. Or else I am, but I just can't find the right answer.
LizzyB - April 15, 2006 10:35 AM (GMT)
Its not the last two words that make up a name... but there is a name in there... also find out what you need to know by translating it.
nugs2515 - April 15, 2006 09:26 PM (GMT)
will someone pleas help me, I can't seem to get it i've translated it but i'm not sure if it's right I'm so lost.
cenedra - April 17, 2006 04:15 PM (GMT)
Can anyone give any help on this? Translation makes no sense at all!
dariusenka - April 22, 2006 11:25 AM (GMT)
glad to say that this "name" died in the town where i live... at least one bit easier riddle for me.
eowyn_shea - June 8, 2006 09:24 AM (GMT)
i'm still stuck on this one, i must be getting it wrong cause my question does ask for a place...a little bit of help would be much appreciated
Riddler of Riddlers - June 8, 2006 04:40 PM (GMT)
Maybe you should try a different translator.
spikerox2007 - June 11, 2006 12:43 AM (GMT)
can some one PM me and tell me what language this is because i have tried everything from greek to spanish and dutch....the most i get is two words....
spikerox2007 - June 15, 2006 06:45 PM (GMT)
im deff. missing something... i cant find anything about the answer to the translation....
mcbreja - July 8, 2006 01:41 AM (GMT)
I'm afraid that I'm just being a dunce. I have a translation. But I'm not sure it's right. If I could pm someone or some pm me. I am just not getting it.
Never mind.... sometimes I can be smart.
sirius - December 2, 2006 01:12 AM (GMT)
This riddle sucks *^%. The first word can be translated into multiple things so I don't know exactly what I'm looking for. I've been searching non stop for hours trying to find other translators, people with the name Lajos and/or Nagy. I've entered countless combinations of names of people, names of places, and nubers representing dates. This is not a riddle, this is a search for a needle in the internet haystack. The only reason I'm still trying to get the answer is because I want to get to the riddles that are actually fun.
Confuzzled - December 2, 2006 01:26 AM (GMT)
You have to use a translator for ALL the words, including Lajos and Nagy.
Keep in mind that online translators do their job...languages aren't meant to be translated word for word. But if you translate each word, you should be able to figure out the general gist of the sentence.
Then you can find the answer.
