I never played it back in the day, but I always wanted to... There's a great LP for it, which I quite enjoyed, in which the LPer is at first blessed by the RNG, then brutally betrayed by it. For the RNG is a fickle god, indeed. Anyway, it's good fun.

Thanks for the link Kristof. However, the Random Number God definitely plays a huge factor in the game. True, you can strategize some of the stuff, but you can certainly spend an ungodly amount of time.

Heh, if it was a new game that just came out on the market, I definitely would have bypassed it...but as I said, I have some affection for it (for various reasons)

If you had to run it by a comity three times everytime you wanted to use a wheel.

(That being said, I still think Disgaea 1 has had the best story.)
((The best NIS story however is Phatom Brave.))

"Steam"? "Copy"? "Bundle"?

Sorry, but I'm a scientist and that was even over my head.

Clearly you're not a very good scientist if you aren't running your calculations through a Bastion. They're modular computers, and the commercial version are occasionally sold in large assorted packs (Or 'bundles'). A Steam Bastion is just one of the modules, but having two doesn't really do anything.

If you're still confused Google "Humble Bundle" (The bundle we just bought), "Steam (software)", "Bastion", and "I'm almost telling the truth."

Stop using big words. All this word nonsense is going over my head.

Hey, if you're still offering I'll take it! I've always meant to play Bastion but haven't gotten to it yet.

For those who may still care, the extended edition of Mass Effect 3 is now available for free (at least until sometime in 2014).

I heard the ending is better now (via webcomics). Still haven't played it though.

Webcomics are how i get my videogame related news.

*nods* It is better...and at least has some differences (honestly, there wasn't much difference before it). Of course, that isn't saying there aren't some other issues, hole, etc. but I promise not to waste any bandwidth on it here.

Yes. Aparantly the endings used to be a laser of varying color shooting and then you crash on a jungle planet. Now you LAND on a jungle planet (which makes more sense somehow) and there's other stuff that i don't know about because no one talks about them in their comics.
