Voldermort is kinda bulletproof. He’s got his soul in seven objects and you gotta destroy them all before Voldermort can get axed. Thing is Dumbledoor knew this the whole time but only told one person years after he figured it out, and even then he didn’t actually tell Harry, he sort of made Harry figure it out himself over the course of a year!

Also, wizards can make “Anti-technology” force fields. Of course, at the end of the last book Voldermort’s army gets routed by centaurs armed with bows so they can’t be that hardcore. How guns, light bulbs, ballpoint pens, loose leaf paper and computers count as technology but not houses, bows, record players and toilets I know not.

I guess Voldemort forgot to prepare Protection From Arrows that day.

Modern Paper actually has small quantities of Titanium in the paper for the titanium's white pigment.

A lot of fantasy stories would be over in seconds if the protagonist was equipped with a loaded gun.
Doesn't make for a good revenge story (and training montage!) however.


On another note, I'm curious to know Pello's motives for traveling with Allete's mother.

Perhaps he simply enjoys following and assisting young females.. :\
