Happy New Year!

What better a time to have another Join Up Drawing Event That's right folks, now's your chance to work me to the bone drawing all kinds of pictures for you!

How it works for those who missed the last one:
For the duration of this weekend (January 1st-3rd) with perhaps some spillover, readers will be able to request drawings from me (in either Aetheria Epics or Revenant Braves art styles) of any AE or CRB character in a costume and/or pose of their choice (work safe, of course). The only prerequisite is that you become a member on The Brave Combination Forums and post an introduction section with just a few words about yourself. Of course, existing members also each get a request.

There may also be some spillover into next week if I've been slow or if there is additional interest.

But wait, there's more! If new members stick around for two weeks, they get an additional sprite-based request from Sildraug: master of dungeons, purveyor of sprites, and all around cool guy! I figure I or he will make a seperate thread for that when the time comes. We'll see.

I'm going to post something very similar to this on the front pages of AE and CRB this afternoon, along with a note at the top of the page on AE.

So there we go! Feel free to get started, guys, but I'm not starting on anything until tomorrow some time, so if you post a request but change your mind before tomorrow, there will still be time to change it.

Hmm, I'm thinking Kei and Fio as Kyosuke and Excellen from SRW OG.

If that can't be done, I'll settle for Fio standing atop a building bench in an EPIC VICTORY POSE!!!

As for my own thread for this event--yeah, I guess I'll toss a new thread up here.

I should be able to swing that. It'll just take some searching for reference images... or you could post some just to be sure.

Of course, you are free to choose the poses that work best with each girl as well as their weapons of choice (as long as they're normal, non-magic stuff guns). As for outfits, I recommend CRB school uniforms for Fio and Celeste, Allete in a summoner's uniform (as seen on pages 52 and 59) and Iris and Lily in their usual outfits (sans head covers).


Edit: Hmm, Lord Shadow is at fault for my confusion. Then, how about Fio with a P90, ready to shoot?

The contest, unfortunately, calls for just one character. But feel free to convince someone else to combine with you (GATTAI!)

Also, you may want to put that image on an imagehost or other server. Seems ANN doesn't like people using their bandwidth.

Whoops! Forgot my own rules for a second.

Yeah, one characters per person. Again, feel free to combine (DOTOU GATTAI! can't help it ;p) to add more characters. Sorry, guys, the amount of time an image takes is directly proportional to how many characters are in it, so if I don't make this a rule I could be drawing forever.

Unless 4 other forum users wish to sacrifice their ideas for the epicness that is/would be The Brave Combination Gunslinger Girls, I'll have to stick with Fio-only epicness

Iris as a mermaid. Just something I got in my head at one point. I'm thinking a look similar to Ariel from the Little Mermaid, but in Aetheria Epics style.

Do existing members get a sprite request too? If so, I'm thinking Iris striking some kinda badass pose as she casts a fire or lightning spell.

Yes, existing members get a sprite request. I mentioned that in the Sprite Request thread.
