Changed the title of this section so I can talk about general website stuff instead of necessarily forum-related stuff.

Stuck all the D&D stuff into a subforum and gave Sildraug some powers there, since he's the one who's organizing the thing/DMing.

Minor note: on the section description for the General section, it's spelled pertain, not purtain.

Made the roleplaying sections visible to guests per special request.

The poll site I was using went all javascript on me so I've switched to a different one. Hopefully it won't cause problems.

The text is all white on the results page for now, but I'll be fixing that next update.

One thing about the site that displays the poll results
The text is white and so is the background color of the site, making it not visible at all without highlighting it.

This is very minor, so don't worry about it too much (or at all), lol

I'm thinking it may actually be time to set up my own polling system to avoid problems with the third party sites like the one that caused this.

As long as your webhost permits CGI scripts, it shouldn't be very hard.

I just need to work out how to do it. I only really know some basic html as far as coding goes.

Well, I'm sure there's bound to be numerous polling packages on the web you can just install. Surely at least one of them must have comprehensible documentation.

Of course I think that writing this kind of thing yourself is more fun, but I realize that's not for everyone :)

Anyway, so I didn't get around to figuring something out, so another third party site it is!

I cleaned up AE's design a bit. It should be easier for me now to add/change things. And it finally works in IE without ugly gaps in the 'window' frame. :rolleyes:

No offense to the new design, but I liked the old header more. It had a bit of a soft feeling to it, which felt nice. I can't say I'm really enjoying all the glare on this metallic~ish one.

I'm not saying I see AE as something really flowery, just the glare comes off too strong for me. Especially in the subtitle. =/



(Oh, and the tumblr link goes to my dashboard. =P Use this instead. Although those probably look pretty similar from your perspective.)


Off topic, but I'm enjoying your tumblr art. Maybe one of these day I'll stop being so lazy and start getting your stuff up on your DA.

To me, the new logo and the black site background (I don't remember what the old background color was, maybe also black, but it was less prominent with practically everything taken up by blue message boxes) look... hmm, harsh. Ominous. Like they'd be more suited for a more melodramatic work. Not a story about cute mages who think going on an adventure with your friends is fun.

Not that huge a deal though. I'm more concerned with losing the stylish link buttons, really.

I like what I'm seeing. This is the future, everything needs to be more sleek and metallic.

That should be fixed now... I honestly don't know how I missed that.

Don't worry too too hard about the DA stuff. If you feel like it, cool, if not, don't stress.

As for the logo, it'll change some time, but I like it this way for now. I think graphic design is cool and interesting, but it isn't my forte.

As for the links, image-links are a lot more annoying to manage and change than normal text. I might bring them back some time, but for now I prefer the simplicity of straight text.

I also might bring back info and character pages some time, but for now I'm enjoying not worrying that they aren't up-to-date.
