Intro~This game bring the same fun as the classic with a twist.

Characters-Like the last, the characters of this game varies.All the characters form the last game are included, but with a few new characters.Such as different colors for Yoshi, Baby Daisy, Baby Peach,Blooper,Wiggler, and characters from the DK series such as Funky Kong who debuted in the Mario series in Mario Kart Wii, Baby Dk, Kritter, King K.Rool, and Dixie Kongs sister, Tiny Kong.And Miis.

Teams-Each captain has there own team names.

Exhibition Mode:In this game you can play as 1-4 characters.Instead of 1-2.This is exactly like Super Mario Stadium Baseball.You pick captains and there team mates.But in this the fields have Day and Night modes.Giving different obstacles and different looks to the fields.You may pick from 1-9 inning.You also have a choice to have items on or off, have mercy on or off, and star powers on or off.


Graphics:The graphics on this game are a plus for me.A big step from Mario Superstar Baseball and way better then Mario Kart Wii and Mario Party 8.But not as good as a 1st party game.

Toy Field:

Players try to hit baseballs to point spaces all around the field. The other players try to catch the ball. If a player catches a ball, it is their turn to bat. At the end of the game, the player with the most points will win.

Practice:

Players new to the game learn to bat, pitch, fielding, special moves and base running.

Records:

Shows MVPs of exhibition games, star players in challenge mode and high scores of the minigames. When the game is completed, the records will show the ending movie.

Minigames:There are many minigames somewhat based on the ones from the past game.For example Blooper run on Daisys Cruiser similar to Chain Chomp Sprint.

Items:
* Green Shell - Shoot a player and daze them if hit.
* Banana Peel - Shoot 3-6 bananas to trip the player.
* Fire Ball - Some fireballs will bounce around to burn someone.
* Boos - Make the ball invisible.
* Bob-omb - Throw one and the player loses the ball and is hurt.
* POW-Ball - Similar to the Bob-omb. It will shake the ground instead of making
an explosion.






Challenge Mode:This games challenge mode is very different from the last.In this there are no preset teams and you must travel through baseball islands different sections to find characters.For example in Peach Ice garden you travel around to see everyone in distress because Peach is captured and Daisy was turned into a statue.Also to get characters to join you team you must find them then do a baseball challenge for them.Like catching,batting,fielding, ect.There are also obstacles to get to the baseball field in the section.Where you will do a three inning baseball game against Bowser Jr. You also run into Bowser Jr.s minions and must do challenges to beat them.In the end you collect every character and must first beat Bowser Jr in a baseball game then Bowser.

Cut Scenes:In this game there are Four cut scenes. The first is the intro showing you Baseball Island.The second is showing you how Bowser Jr takes over the Island.The third shows you the victory scene.And the last shows you the Final Festivities.


Gameplay:The game play in this games allows you to feel like you playing baseball.By swinging the Wii remote to bat or pitch or throw.But using the nun chuck to move around.

Swinging the wii remote isn't a hassle at all.



Chemistry:This is exactly like the other game.Players have chemistry with other characters.If you place them next to each other in batting lineup,or in the field, they will throw better or bat better.There is no bad chemistry this time around.


Overall-Overall I would give this game a 8-9/10.This game wasn't planned to be great with no Wifi connection.But with the new characters,new gameplay,new fields,and new challenge mode its one of my favorite games for the wii so far.But the gameplay was very similar to the last.Wifi would have made it a big hit.
