I wouldn't go see that either.

But then again, I'm probably overreacting....
It's probably a great movie...but I'd rather stay home and watch Pan's Labyrinth or something.

silver in no way is cloverfield over hyped. it deserves everything its getting. its amazing, the best movie ive ever seen.

now my apologies, but im about to get angry. lol

in NO WAY is cloverfield godzilla. its NOTHING in comparison. it is NOT a documentary. its just a camcorder. the whole movie is a camcorder. and its not just the monster. godzilla was focused all around the monster.

cloverfield is more circulated around the characters in the experience. essentially, cloverfield is a love story in the midst of an apocalypse. and the style of this movie is amazing.

it brings you down to the level of the characters, forces you to get to know them, and it makes you want to be there with them ,even though you know you'll die, lol.

its just...cloverfield is incredible. you have to be inhuman, ignorant, or its just not youre thing, to NOT love this movie

cloverfield was ok a tad over hyped. and nothing was explained in the movie. that was basically the whoe plot T.T no way some0one gets up and runs after having a large metal rod stuck in their chest. hellz to the no. it was a decent movie though like blarewitch. the camera shaking was so F****** annoying gall. "omgz flaming hobos"

and dont diss cloverfield if youre gonna exaggerate, lmao.

they didnt want you to know anything about the monster, as i said before, there were more important things to focus on than killing than finding out where it came from and killing the monster. we finally got a monster movie that is purely from the perspective of the characters in peril. lol.

and as far as exaggeration goes, it was not a "large metal rod in her chest"

beth had a not very large thin metal rod through her shoulder, that cuased enough pain to stop her from trying to get up.

rob and everyone pretty much pulled her up off of that.

as far as running after that, you would honestly tell me youd stop and whine about a bandaged hole in your shoulder when your being chased by a 25 story thing? lol.

id break out into a flat out run no matter what the injury. ADRENALINE BABY!!!

I had some computer problems but I am back. Not much has changed here but It's good to see that we have a new member. Here's a random image:

yeah ive been having computer problems too. i couldnt log on to almost any site for awhile. so things have been real slow.

however i still have plans. im gonna start my series Erik soon while preparing for the grand launch of the main site in Summer 08 which will hopefully be accompanied with the launch of Unknown if i stay on schedule. im also at work getting some new members, and in the new future i hope i can welcome new personalities to the site.

as for the rest, Dud is busy learning php, most everyone else is busy with school and whatnot, so its been painfully slow. hopefully i can break the site out of it.

this site is in a stasis until summer, perhaps.

the future of this site hinges on whether or not i land the comic job in the paper.

i would then have suffiecient reason to continue Renegade Comics.

so check back in August. lol. i log in once and a while just to make sure invisionfree doesnt shut it down, cause i want to keep this place in a hibernation of sorts till the proper time comes.
