Igon & Rain's marriage status (Of not having one) is one of the more unusual-yet-mundane things I've written. They've spent several decades side-by-side, they've raised two late-teenage girls together from infancy, they work together and they live together...but they're not married and have no intention of getting married.
They say that being married is like spending every day with your best friend. For Igon & Rain, that's the exact truth, they do spend every day with their best friend.
