The Town - Remember Forums Edition, Yay or nay?

For those of you who don't know, the Town is located in the Giantitp forums, and is a place where one can roleplay characters without the confines of a DM or any rules. There are some rules, like no controlling other characters and such, but as far as what you can make your character, the sky's the limit. For example, some of my characters on the main board include a halfling druid, a fallen angel, and an animated statue of Anubis.

Anyone interested in something like this? If so, I'll make a thread that is essentially common ground, like a tavern or inn.

Anyway, important speak:

IC- In character, what your character does and says.
OOC- Out of character, other stuff that your character doesn't say or do.
Deadtime- Going offline, stop roleplaying.
Undeadtime- Going back online, presumably after you deadtime.

Heck knows I have no objections to anything that brings more traffic here.

I'll assume some of the God-mod rules from ABR apply as well?

The rules are:

You cannot simply say " I cut off his head", or even "I hit him in the shin". You must say "I attempt to behead him".

Same goes for non-combat. "I attempt to pickpocket him" is okay. Even "I heal his wound" is god-modding, maybe the injury doesn't heal? Or their character refuses healing?

Also, one should speak in a colour to differentiate speech, such as I'm ready when you are.

OOC chat is shown as either:

OOC: I'm speaking out of character.

or

((Hey Look, an example!))

How does this work ? Can I simply join a thread, or do I have to make some character sheets or something ?

Yeah, you just join.
Characters are as simple as:
Name
Physical characteristics.
Relative Power Level.

We'll eventually need a character thread for these though.

I think your system work different than you think (maybe the rate of postin has something to do with it)

Btu I think, that if we already have characters, we should be able to use those instead of make new ones.
I also think that a sub-board for the town should be used (kinda like on GiantITP) to seporate the TOWN from other PbP games.

Speaking of rules, I think there should be a rule against organisations too.
We have that on GiantITP, I don't think we need it here too.
Perhaps groups within the TOWN itself, but not like on GiantiITP.

First says that Abi was previously stronger. Then it goes on to clarify that she was human when she was stronger. Hence me and Ruyine's confusion.
