Really More Advanced Member (except porsch) Group: Members Posts: 473 Member No.: 82 Joined: 31-July 07	When I click that link, I'm prompted to Open or Save the AVI file. My guess is that the default app you have set to open AVI's has a browser plug-in and is just streaming it in the browser (like QuickTime, which bundles with iTunes). If you change your default app for AVI files to null, it should prompt you to Save it. Or, choose an app that doesn't have a plug-in. Personally, I like VLC media player.

RULER!!! Group: Members Posts: 7,853 Member No.: 4 Joined: 12-February 06	That sounds about right. I prefer Media Player Classic (park of the Klite Codec Pack). You can go into firefox's addons bit and the plugins section and remove/disable the video stuff from there.

I use firefox.
I went in to add ons from tools, options, main, change your add ons, plug ins, and when I open it there's many video apps, how do I know which one to disable?
It's ok VLC player was doing it. Thanks for your help.

However it was still more opinion piece rather than stats and real-world driving stuff. Still, they killed another Morris Marina so its not all bad.
