A Stranger, Mik/ ?

[Serene]

Serene mock-glared at him. "Very funny." She poked him in the chest. "You can win. For now." She commented, stepping away slightly. "But you'll get yours." She smirked. "Oh, you will."

[Mikhael]

"I wait with bated breath," the reply was thick with sarcasm as he maneuvered through the space between Serene and the doorframe. Scrubbing a hand over his face, Mik turned to look back at her once he was in the half-light of the hall.

"Then If I can be of no further service, I'm retiring for the evening. I trust you can see yourself out safely?" He was a bit stung that he wasn't being taken seriously, but that was nothing new at all. "Good day,Lady." Mikhael bent slightly at the waist, performing a ridiculous little mock bow before turning towards the stairwell.

[Serene]

Serene studied him for a moment in silence. Tilting her head slightly, she regarded him with a thoughtful look.
"My house. 10 PM tomorrow. Be there." She stated, before walking out.
"Oh, and stop the silly bowing thing." She rolled her eyes, before sweeping out of the building and into the night.

Mikhael chuckled at her more 'modern' way of replying...It's still a novelty to hear sometimes. He didn't bother to watch her go, or any of those other romantic notions; Serene wouldn't find them very endearing anyway.

He smiled to himself ,shaking his head as he continued downstairs to his room. The sun was coming up soon enough, and he a little planning to do before settling in for the day. But am I meeting with the Master of the City, or just Serene? The thought left him a bit unsettled.
