Realm of The Shen has a few rules that are
to be followed to the best of your ability.

About Levels
There are 13 levels that your character may gain. The higher ranks and bend the rules a bit until they are not implied to them at all! Here they are along with their post limits.

Newbie ~ 0-10
Your Race Type (Average) ~ 10-199
Known ~ 200-299
Renown ~ 300-399
Myth ~ 400-499
Famous ~ 500-599
Ruthless ~ 600-699
Infamous ~ 600-699
Kingly (Male Characters) ~ 800-899
Queenly (Female Characters) ~ 800-899
Historical ~ 900-999
Legendary ~ 1000-1999
Great Power ~ 2000+
The Crowning ~ Me-Ha!

Now, these level DO have their perks.

~A newbie is a newbie... But after time of posting and taking place in games and competitions, you'll be up there in to time.

~Your self race - Your well on your way to becoming of high power. Your strength is that of a mere mortal man (10) and your magic is weak (10). Just keep the posts up and join games and your destined to become a Legend.

~Known - Your just starting off, who hasn't? Your a bit quicker than most average beings, light on your feet and the strength of a small bear(15+), but hey, they are pretty strong. Your magic is begining to flicker (15+)

~Renown - Your name is spreading across the Realm, Lads and Ladies are giving you flurtatious looks as you pass by, Your magic skills are building stronger (30+)and so is your strength(30+).

~Myth - Like I said, Your name is spreading. Spreading so much, people arn't believing the stories told in your name! Your magic skills are a bit below average(45+) and your strength is that of a adolesant bear(45+), not to bad!

~Famous - Your a growing star throughout the land, you either bring fear or peace in what ever village or small town to tread through. Your magic skills are growing(60+)and your strength is great(60+). You now can recrute a gang.

~Ruthless - Your name is scattering through all towns, nearly everyone has heard of your quests. Your strength is that of a full grown bear (75+) and you are now considered a average mage (75+). You now have the permission to start your own guild.

~Kingly/Queenly - You are well known across the Realm. Your name has spread to nearly every corner of the world. Your strength is awe dropping(90+) and your magic is briliant(90+)! You are now able to build your very own kingdom!

~Infamous - Almost no one can't lable you 'the
greatest'. Your strength is nearly unmatchable(100+) and you are now considered a high mage(100+). You can now power play.

~Legendary - Your name has ventured everywhere! Only those who live under rocks and tree do not know of your name! Your strength is the greatest under the Powers(150+) and your magic the same(150+). You can now play god among men. (God moding allowed)

~Greater Powers - The most powerful of beings under The Crowning. These are for RPers who have fought to get ahead and wished to achieve greatness! The Powers are the first of every race created by Benki. You overpower the Legends and all other rankings below you. Your powers are pretty much limitless.

1. Godmoding is not permitted on RTS if you have not reached the level of 'Legendary' or higher.

Godmoding is the assumption of
another character's actions, thoughts, reactions,
emotions, or experiences without the role player's
permission.

Offenders of intentional acts of Godmoding
(without the 'Legendary' level, and without
apology) will be deleted. Sorry guys.

2. Powerplaying is not permitted on RTS if you have not reached the level of 'Infamous' or higher.

Powerplaying is when you
exceed your power or ability in any given situation.
Avoiding all attacks, illnesses, and unwanted situations
are examples of this.

Offenders of intentional acts of
Powerplaying (without level verification)
are be subject to two warnings before they are deleted.

ATTENTION! THE FOLLOWING IMPLIES TO ALL RANKS!


Please keep swearing to a minimum.

Swearing in what might be considered a 'medieval' way is
acceptable (and sometimes amusing); keep this to a
minimum as well. Excessive swearing can take away from
your post and has upset other role players in the past.

Offenders will be given several warnings, and if they do
not comply with the Admin's request, they may be deleted.

If there is a theme in your post that involves violent or
sexual themes, rate it appropriately.

Mature themes are
permissible on RTS, but the thread must be marked.
Excessive violence must have a '+16' or '+18' in the
thread name/title. Sexual themes must have anywhere from
'+16' for nudity to 'R' for sex scenes. This is to ensure
that younger or sensitive role players will not stumble
across material they would rather not wish to read.

The historical setting of RTS is fantasy/medieval.

Please respect this setting. Do not use modern terms or phrases
(such as 'Sup?') while role playing (in OOC is fine).
Do not use modern technology when role playing. The Realm
has no guns, no cars, no telephones, et cetera. It is
safe to assume that in some of the more sophisticated
dwellings - such as the Midnight City, the houses of
certain elves, and some places in the Wicked City - crude
forms of plumbing may be found.

Anyone found to blatantly be using modern technology will
receive a warning, and repeat offenders will be deleted.

Technologies that can be used within the Realm are:
- crossbows
- canons
- mechanical limbs
- crude water heaters
- crude medical devices (needles, slings, etc...)

When talking Out Of Character, aka 'OOC', on RTS:

a) for general chat, use the OOC board.

b) when talking OOC within a role play, place them in OOC
tags ((Like so.)) Please keep these to a minimum. Anyone
who is excessively talking OOC on the role playing boards
may receive a warning, and repeat offenders will have
their posts deleted without notification.

The Admin have veto power over the goings-on on RTS.

RTS is governed by a small team of people who give up there free
time to help make your role playing experiences worth
while. Please remember - they are not perfect; they don't
know everything that goes on and it's not their fault if
something breaks (blame Mick - it's usually his fault).

Don't be afraid to contact any of the admin
if something bothers you - even if it's one of the admin
themselves.

If at any time you need assistance, the Admin are
available via the PM system, the Questions board, in the OOC section, e-mail, and msn messenger.

If you send one of them a message they may
take a few days to respond. Not all problems can be fixed
instantaneously. Admin also hold the right to change the
rules if a situation or circumstance calls for it.
