One year that was the promise the guarantee. Marshal was to have one year with out having to deal with that insufferable Draco Malfoy who pretty much had everything the the world because his daddy bought it for him. At least there was no way his daddy could buy his way on to the quidditch team this year. The team was his and he wasn't going to let Draco on even if Luscious bought the team firebolts. If Draco wanted on the team he was going to have to earn it and he was was not going to be seeker. That was his as well.

It was the one thing that Marshal had power over. He didn't even have say over the common room. There was Draco making a fool of himself once again bragging about nonsense. Tickets to the World Cup? What a laugh his father's team was up for playing in the world cup which granted Marshal access to the owner's box. One step above the minister's box something Draco so happened to brag about a couple of years back.

The Common room was too crowded with that stupid ego of Draco's, thusly Marshal felt the need to talk a walk. How long was this year going to be? Marshal just stepped out of the common room and rubbed his temple letting out a low sigh of frustration.

Virgo was curious. She had never lived in a castle before; the Magic Academy back in Salem was more like a sprawling palace then a stone monstrosity. She had just left the Great Hall, deciding as she did so to let her feet take her where they would.

Now, here she was, wandering through the bowels of Hogwarts, stone all around her. Some people would be freaked out by the seeming endlessness of the passageways through which she was walking. Virgo, however, was just enjoying the fact that she had seemingly found one area of the whole castle where she wouldn’t be continually surrounded by other people. It wasn’t that Virgo didn’t like people, she merely appreciated the stillness that deserted places could afford her.

Virgo kept strolling down the long, winding corridors, hands clasped behind her back and a small smile on her face. Her nice quiet walk, however, was not destined to last for much longer. Without any notice whatsoever, the solid stone wall to her left suddenly melted away and there, emerging from the doorway that had been created in the doorway that had been created, was none other than the boy from the train. Coomings, he’d said; his first name started with an “m” she thought. Michael? Matthew? Melvin? No, those weren’t right...What was it? Oh well...They didn’t even go by fist names here. “Coomings” it would be then!

Marshal could sense that there was a presence next to him but didn't bother to look to see who it was and just spoke. "Just go on in, there's nothing to see here," his tone was snappish and cold giving more of a command than a request. What was there to see? He didn't want to be some minor spectacle for some first year.

Bringing his hand down from his temple he turned to see who it was that was standing near by in the first place. His eyes were intense, set with a glare, a minor sneer on his face. He would tell this person off if he had to.

When his eyes landed on who it actually was, some anger ebbed from him and a look of slight disgust encroached on his face. It was that American, the one he met on the train, with that Asian girl. "Oh you again," he remarked, "What brings you down here?" he demanded his eyes roving over the girl taking her in. She certainly was a different one unlike a lot of the other girls there at Hogwarts. You could practically tell just by looking at her that she was not British, even if her mum the professor was.
