The times of fun and play are slowly changing as a dark wizard makes his rise in the wizarding world. Recruits from all over have already been made, and many more are on their way. Both wizards and muggles are dying left and right. The country of Britain is on high alert as Voldemort grows stronger. But unbeknown to him, Dumbledore has started up a secret society whose sole purpose is to take him down. What will be later known as the First Great War has started, and it doesn't look good.

Meanwhile, inside Hogwarts the students have convinced themselves that they are safe. After all it is commonly known that Dumbledore is the only one that Voldemort has ever feared. But are they really as safe as they think? Tension between the houses arise despite the Sorting Hat's warning. Gryffindors and Slytherins are constantly at each other's throats. With all the rage and hate something is bound to happen, right?

Friendships are falling apart. Long lasting loves leave one another. But one friendship seems to be able to make it through. One friendship looks like it just might make it. What no one else sees is that that one friendship is the key to bringing this world back. But in order for that to happen, that one friendship has to fall. The Marauders must be broken for this world to be fixed.
