proofreader only checks the tl mistakes while the QC-er checks everything
from cleans to the typesetting, including the tl

Another thing to note. We're also willing to teach you how to clean. We've taken newbies before and taught them everything there is to know about cleaning.

Maybe. Do you have a lot of scanlation experience in cleaning, typesetting and can spot mistakes in the text (like spelling errors, etc...) ?

A QC combines cleaning, typesetting and proofreading all at the same time and if he/she misses something, it goes straight to release, hence the prerequisite for scanlation experience.
