As Sektor escaped from Monster, the portal teleported him to the Netherealm.

Sektor: What? This isn't Earthrealm? This is... the Netherealm? But how?

As soon as he said that, a horde of Oni approached Sektor. They sniffed Sektor and looked surprised that he was not eatable. Suddenly Moloch appeared.

Moloch You are not one of us and you cannot be eaten. We are hungry and teasing us like that makes me ANGRY.

I don't care. Where is your leader?

The being you are looking for lives over there.

Moloch points to Shinnok's Spire...

sektor opens fire on Moloch turning him into dust.

sektor then heads off towards shinnok's spire....
