HAs anyone seen the protests at heathrow about plane carbon emissions? It looks great. Just in time for festival season too so I reckon people who couldn't get tickets for the V festival or reading will head over. You'll end up with thousands of people who don't care about global warming but just want a good laugh in a tent.

The whole concept of Global Warming is very deceptive. You have to remember, if the goverment want you to believe something, they will make the masses do so.

IMHO it's probably true we are affecting our planet, but to what extent is a hard question. I've heard many scientists use thier calculations taken from the soil about climate temprature ect, and some how they can measure CO2 levels throughout the ages, and apparently levels that are here today, are about 10 times less than the CO2 in our atmosphere at a relativley close point too today, like a thousand years or something. Anywho, just remember that if the Global Warming bubble poped alot of people would be out of a job. I personally think that the fact America showed reluctance to believe it, showed how they wanted to asses how it would affect thier economy. And trust me, if America thought it would make it worse, Global warming would not be today such a hot topic.

And yes I do believe that in our world today, there have been so many cover ups ect, that its hard to tell fact from fiction. The utter fact that any scientist who says Global Warming is fake, is disowned by the science community, is proof of how free and open opinions are no longer allowed in this world of shrinking civil rights.

Well thats just my uninformed ramblings peace out. Feel free to add me and give me your point of view. Add me on myspace - www.myspace.com/chris_sm

global warming is both a political and scientific issue. that's what makes it so difficult. It's true, scientists who claim it is fake are shunned not just by other scientists, but society as a whole due to the public and political attenton the issue has received. however, the arguement that mankind does not have the power the alter the atmosphere is crap. We have already damaged nature enough in terms of scarring the ozone layer, polluting waters, destroying forests and causing the extinction of countless animals and plants, climate change is probably very much withing our range

There is an argument that no matter what we do to the planet, short of imploding it, it will always regenerate, even if it's long after the humans are gone!
