Superpower list, the main source of information the mods use for the superpower information, has been having issues with their site. Because of this, the mods have decided to create a directory of the powers from the taken/available list Here so that players and interested people can see what the power is about without having to leave the board. Most of the definitions have come from Superpower list with a little modification/editing by the mods.

This is just for information purposes and this is NOT the place to ask about powers or ask for holds. If you wish to ask about a power or for a hold, please comment on this post here. Any hold requests posted here will be deleted and ignored by the mods.

» A POWERS «


Ability Theft• The ability to temporarily steal the abilities of others.

DESCRIPTION
By merely touching a powered individual, a person with ability theft can temporarily steal and use the powers for their own ends. This also leaves the person they've stolen from temporarily powerless.

The good points:
User can obtain any power they try to steal.
User can obtain multiple abilities at the same time.
User can neutralize other metahumans by temporarily taking their power.

The bad points:
Other metahumans may distrust/fear you.
Powers will only last for about two hours before fading.
Control over absorbed powers is not automatic.

Accelerated Healing• The ability to heal rapidly from any injury.

DESCRIPTION
With this ability, if you get cut, injured, break a bone, etc., you will fully heal within minutes. You will still have to endure the pain and the more serious the wound, the longer it will take to heal but you will completely recover. This ability also slows your aging process.

The good points:
User can take a lot of damage and recover within minutes.
Power slows aging so user will stay younger for longer.
Body will also recover from damage from smoking, drinking and general unhealthy lifestyles.

The bad points:
User will still feel pain.
The worse the wound, the longer it takes to heal.
User is still aging and is still mortal.

Aerokinesis• The ability to manipulate air and other gases.

DESCRIPTION
A person with Aerokinesis has control over the air in their immediate area. They can generate 200 mph gusts and make 50 yard air-boosted leaps. Even air pressure is not outside their range. They can make it greater and crush things, or decrease it so they can do things with less air resistance (i.e. run fast).

The good points:
User can use the power in a variety of ways.
User is not easy to fight against since they control air which people need to breath. Usually.
May allows user to go to inaccessible places with practice.

The bad points:
User cannot fly.
User cannot create or destroy air/gases, can only work with what's available.
Takes significant time to master all applications of power.

Affliction• The ability to induce wounds and injuries on foes.

DESCRIPTION
This ability allows the user to inflict painful wounds upon foes with their minds. The user can only induce physical wounds such as bruises, cuts, and broken bones, they could not induce sickness at all or cause disease. They cannot induce wounds to the mind, only the body.


The good points:
User can beat another person without having to lift a finger.
User can kill with a thought if they cause a serve enough wound.
User cannot hurt themselves with their own thoughts.

The bad points:
The power is tied to the user's emotions and may activate accidentally.
It is difficult to control the severity which you wound someone.
Others may fear/distrust users with such a deadly power.

Age Shifting• The ability to alter one's age at will.

DESCRIPTION
This ability allows the user to shift from his current age to any age he desires at will. You could age or de-age your body with a thought. While age-shifted, you take on the characteristics of your assumed age group (energy of a kid, wisdom and patience of old age).

The good:
User can change multiple times throughout the day.
User can prolong their lives by regularly de-aging themselves.
User can disguise themselves very quickly.

The bad points:
Overuse can get the user stuck at an age temporarily. This could be deadly if stuck very young or very old.
Users are susceptible to Chronokinetics/Age-Manipulators can restore user to true age.
Power cannot protect or defend user from attack
User is not immortal.

Animal Control• The ability to fully control any animal (excluding humans).

DESCRIPTION
The person with this power can mentally and verbally control animals. Advanced development of this power will also allow the user to possess an animal for a short period of time. Your human self will be "asleep," but your conscious mind will be fully awake within the animal. This ability excludes controlling other humans.

The good points:
User can control animals within a thirty foot radius.
User can affect metahumans who transform into animals if they have player permission.
With time, can learn to enter an animal's mind.

The bad points
Metahumans with animal traits are more difficult to control.
User can sustain injuries if in the mind an animal who gets hurt.
Your human self goes to sleep when you control other animals mind, leaving you vulnerable.

Animal Morphing• The ability to morph into any animal. (excluding humans).

DESCRIPTION
With this ability, you can morph into any living animal excluding humans. Mammals are the easiest but the user can also transform into animals that are reptile, bird, arthropods, fish or amphibian. The user must see the animal either in life, on screen or in text before they can transform into that animal.

The good points:
User can turn into any animal in the animal kingdom.
User retains their human intelligence while in animal form.
User instinctively knows how to use the animal body's functions.

The bad points:
User must have seen the animal at some point prior to taking the form.
User is susceptible to the weaknesses of the animal's body (Ex: fish need water)
Injuries sustained in animal form will be there when user becomes human again.

Astral Projection• The ability to mentally have an out of body experience.

DESCRIPTION
Using this power allows you to go into a trance and travel outside of your body as a spirit. You can astrally appear & communicate to people or remain invisible. However, using this power longer than 24 hr. period will cause your body to fall into a catatonic state. Also while in trance, you are left defenseless.

The good:
While astral projecting, user can virtually go anywhere.
User can remain invisible or make their astral form visible if they want.
The user's astral body cannot be harmed.

The bad points:
User may only be 24 hr out of body before the body goes into a coma or catatonic state
Users body is left defenseless
Astral form can be sensed by others with mental abilities such as telepathy, empathy, etc.

Bear Mimicry• The ability to shapeshift into a bear.

DESCRIPTION
The user with this power has the ability to physically shapeshift into a bear and have the physical characteristics of a bear. This includes a bear's increased physical strength, endurance, claws, increased senses and ability to climb.

The good points:
Increased strength in bear form.
Heightened senses in bear form.
Can partially shift between bear and human, becoming a werebear.

The bad points:
People may mistake the user for a real bear and shoot them.
Still has all the weaknesses of a bear.
Limited intelligence in bear form as animal instincts that precedence.
User can be affected by players with animal control (w/player permission)

Black Blood• The ability to secrete your blood out of your pores, where it hardens into armor or claws.

DESCRIPTION
One can control the flow of one's blood (colored black), which one can mentally pour out of one's pores and shape into weapons or armor, hardening shortly after contact with air. If cut, the blood will harden over the wound, eliminating the need for bandages. Secreting large amounts of blood will weaken you as if you had lost that blood. Cannot be reabsorbed.

The good points:
User can make very hard blades or armor in a variety of shapes.
One can seal up any wound or hold any broken bone together.
Always have a weapon on hand.

The bad points:
Once the blood leaves the body, it cannot be reabsorbed and crumbles after a few hours.
Only works with the user's own blood.
Extensive use can lead to weakness or death from blood loss.
User is susceptible to metahumans with Hemokinesis.

Blessing• The ability to sense, increase, and decrease another's powers.

DESCRIPTION
Blessing allows the user to sense other metahumans and to affect their powers by increasing or deceasing them, depending on the will of the person with it. The power is passive and lends itself to being used subconsciously. Those being affected by the power will only notice the increase or decease when they use their own power.

The good points:
Can be used without the recipient knowing, thus the user can secretly help another person.
User can sense when they are in the presence of other metahumans.
Can help other metahumans increase their powers or decease if needed.

The bad points:
Acts upon the users will, so is hard to control and can be very easily used without meaning to.
It only affects other people's powers and not the user.
User cannot tell what exact power another possessed, only that they have one.

Bliss & Horror• The ability to induce either positive or negative sensations in other people.

DESCRIPTION
The user is able to make people feel extreme pleasure or discomfort. They can induced feelings of "bliss" or "horror" in other people. If used as a weapon, this power can incapacitate victims with weakness and nausea, making them feel so much fear or horror that they feel physically sick. On the opposite spectrum, the 'bliss' feeling can be addictive to others.

The good points:
User can make their friends feel great.
They can make their enemies feel horrible.
Can make opponents sick and weak.

The bad points:
Cannot make someone feel both bliss and horror at the same time.
Only works on people in the users presence.
Requires active concentration to wield properly

Bomb Generation• The ability to generate highly thermal energy spheres liable to detonating.

DESCRIPTION
This power allows the user to generate highly thermal energy spheres liable to detonating. The user’s body attracts ambient chemicals and thermal energy to produce fiery bombs that explode. The user concentrates to form the bombs around their palms. The explosions are usually small, however a powerful user may be able of creating a near nuclear blast.

The good points:
The bomb detonations are mentally controlled by the user.
User can generate bombs of a variety of sizes, depending on skill level.
Always have a weapon on hand.

The bad points:
User can hurt themselves with their own bombs.
Power can be used by accident is user is not careful.
Causing so much destruction can give you a bad rep.

» C POWERS «


Chameleon• The ability to camouflage & blend into to the surroundings.

DESCRIPTION
As a chameleon, you'll have a perfect camouflage. You'll be able to blend in a fade into your surroundings. Though its not quite true invisibility, but its close. Also have to concentrate to keep hidden, especially when moving at a fast pace.

The good points:
User has perfect camouflage and can take on elements of any environment.
This power is easy to use, almost instinctive.

The bad points:
Can still be sensed by metahumans with mental abilities or heightened senses.
User is not truly invisible and can be seen with enough attention.
Users can use power by accident and camouflage without meaning to.

Clairalience• The ability to psychically smell & track a person.

DESCRIPTION
This power makes the user become a "psychic bloodhound". By smelling objects that were close to or touched by a missing person & getting scent of their psychic impression, you can psychically track them down following the ESP scent. The downside of this power is getting a strong psychic scent of an object & how far the person is before losing their scent. Also you are just using your psychic scent of smell so you can't actually see where the person is, just the ESP scent.

The good points:
Can be used to track down anyone.
Can mentally recognize the scents of different people.

The bad points:
Have to have an object that was close to the person to get a good enough scent
Distance affects this power so people further away are harder to track.
Not useful in a fight.

Clairsentience• The ability to have visions of the past of an object by touching it.

DESCRIPTION
A user with this power can experience an object's past just by touching it, i.e. seeing the history of a gun or a suit, all its owners and what they did with them. With intensive practice, they can even tell what their past owners are doing now, and their state(dead, alive, etc.).

The good points:
User can learn secrets about other people.
With practice, one can use their power to track down other people.

The bad points:
Cannot see the future, only the past and present.
Involuntary, takes work to master
User may see things they wish not to see.

Conduit• The ability to temporarily channel energies or powers directed at you.

DESCRIPTION
When energies of other superpowers are directed at you, your body becomes a conduit for these powers. They pass through you and out again in your chosen direction. As certain powers pass through you, they may energize you. Users with high willpower are able to keep the power contained in themselves for a short period of time instead of having to release them immediately. (note: you do not keep the power only redirect it)

The good points:
Deflect energy blasts, elemental attacks and other powers back at their users.
Channeling offers a certain amount of immunity to physical/energy based powers.
Temporarily get to try different physical energy based powers.

The bad points:
It does not work on mental abilities such as telepathy, memory control, etc.
It is very temporary as the energy/power will be released once used.
Stronger metahumans or too much power at once can overwell the user.

Controlled Adrenaline• The ability to activate your adrenal glands.

DESCRIPTION
This power will allow the user to activate their adrenal glands and give themselves a boost of adrenaline for an extended period of time. During this boost they will be able to react fasted, have increased strength and be able to run faster, like a physically fit human would while experience an adrenaline rush.

The good points:
Allows the user to move and react faster.
Gives the user a boost in strength while activated..
User is able to switch it on and off.

The bad points:
User isn't superhuman strong, just at their optimal strength.
User is not superhuman fast.
Overuse will tax and drain the user, causing them to crash or need rest.

Corruption• The ability to release someone's inhibitions by touch.

DESCRIPTION
A Corruptor can set free a person's darker instincts. Through physical contact they can suppress the inhibition center of the brain and make the victim act without inhibitions. This includes the inhibition to disobey others, the inhibition against violence, and the inhibition against hurting themselves. If the target is not given direction, they will go on a mad rampage. The effects wear off in 4 hours.

The good points:
Can be used on multiple people at a time.
User can cause mass hysteria and rampage.
With practice, can instruct the victim to do what the user wants.

The bad points:
Requires physical contact.
Only works with victims worst/negative instincts and urges at first.
Can only affect a person for up to four hours.

Cryokinesis• The ability to generate cold.

DESCRIPTION
Cryokinesis is the power to decrease heat and generate cold, giving the user abilities like freezing objects, making ice walls out of water vapor, and lowering the temperature to -200 Celsius.

The good points:
User is immune to own power and external cold.
User can freeze their surroundings.
User can create shapes out of ice.

The bad points:
Heat is a big weakness and fire can affect this power.
Mastering it requires a lot of concentration.
Can be used involuntarily if user is not careful.

Cryptokinesis• The ability to render objects unseen.

DESCRIPTION
This power allows the user to bend light around a target to it invisible. It only works on other objects and the user cannot use it upon themselves. Not the most powerful ability, it can be useful if you want to hide something and can be used on small & large objects.

The good points:
Useful for magicians and thieves.
Can be used on a large and small scale (ex. Make a penny disappear, make a car disappear)
Fairly easy to master and can be used on others.

The bad points:
Using the power to hide something longer than 4 hours can exhaust user.
Can't make yourself invisible.
Can make things hard to find if you've forgotten about using your power.

» D POWERS «


Darkness Manipulation• The ability to manipulate darkness and shadows.

DESCRIPTION
A user of this superpower can do the exact opposite of someone with Photo-Kinesis; they can decrease the amount of light and create 'flashes' of total darkness. They can also cloak themselves to hide during the night and can become completely invisible when in shadows.

The good points:
User can avoid detection by manipulating shadows.
User can play upon human's natural fear of the dark.

The bad points:
Power can be affected by light generation & manipulation.
More advanced use require a large amount of mental strength.
Extreme use could lead to madness and insanity. (ex. constantly in darkness)

Density Control • The ability to become intangible or indestructible.

DESCRIPTION
The user can manipulate their own density to any range. From incredibly dense, indestructible body to ghostly intangibility. For example, you can get hit by a car and not get hurt or let the car pass through you.

The good points:
User can decrease density to walk through objects/walls.
User can increase density to point where they can smash through walls.

The bad points:
Still susceptible to mental powers.
If used accidentally, could lead to user getting hurt, struck or hurting others.
User can only affect their own body.

Dream manipulation• The ability to enter and manipulate the dreams of others.

DESCRIPTION
The user of this power can control, suppress, create, sense, and observe dreams in another person. While sleeping or near others who are sleeping, they can enter the dreams of other people.

The good points:
User can create good dreams for friends, bad dreams for enemies.
User can access memories and information if the person is dreaming of them.
User can use dreams to plant ideas and notions in the minds of others.

The bad points:
The user can only affect sleeping subjects.
The user cannot harm a person physically through dreams, you're not Freddy Krueger.
Others may resent the invasion of privacy.

Duplication• The ability to create physical duplicates of yourself.

DESCRIPTION
The user can multiply into many copies of themselves. You will ultimately have control over them, but they can help you get things done, fill up a party, mow the lawn, the sky's the limit! You can reabsorb the duplicates and learn what they've learned/seen/done while away from you.

The good points:
Always have an extra pair of hands.
Use your duplicates to gather information.
You can mentally control your duplicates. Usually.

The bad points:
A duplicate being killed won't kill you but you'll feel the same pain.
Duplicates may get you in trouble if they act on their own free will.
Creating too many duplicates in a short amount of time will knock you out.

Enhanced Marksmanship• The ability to achieve complete and utter accuracy on distant targets.

DESCRIPTION
The users capacity for aim, accuracy and precision is drastically improved. The user's needs only to aim for an instant before they can precisely hit a target with a weapon or a blow. Can even allow one to judge extremely long and great distances amazingly accurately, so one can gauge the strength needed to launch a projectile, in order to hit a target accurately.

The good points:
Be able to hit any target.
Easy power to hide.

The bad points:
Difficult power to recognize, user may not realize it's a power.
Use of ability can be hampered by emotional distress.
Without a weapon, it is useless.

Currently possessed by:

Elastic Anatomy• The ability to stretch and distend your body.

DESCRIPTION
A person with Elastic Anatomy can distend their body as though it was rubber, allowing them to stretch over 1 football field in length and remold themselves into any number of shapes. They also have an extreme resistance to injury---explosives, corrosives, and even bullets cannot penetrate their rubbery form. They have weaknesses to extreme heat (uncontrollable stretching) and cold (a total inability to stretch).

The good points:
User has extreme resistance to injury
User can reshape their flesh to a variety of forms.
Power can be used offensively and defensively.

The bad points:
Extreme heat makes stretching uncontrollable.
Extreme cold makes it impossible to stretch.
It is possible to "overstretch", causing great pain.

Electrical Mimicry• The ability to turn your body into electricity.

DESCRIPTION
Electrical Mimicry allows the user to transform into a human-shaped lightning bolt that can travel through electrical wires, fly, emit bright light, and electrocute things. User can only control the electricity that their body turns into.

The good points:
User will be able to go many places they normally couldn't.
Harder to damage in your electricity form.
User can project lightening bolts.

The bad points:
Users are susceptible to the limitations of lightening.
Unable to safely touch people in lightning form .
Users can be affected by metahumans with electrokinesis.

Electrokinesis• The ability to generate/manipulate Electricity.

DESCRIPTION
This ability allows the user to manipulate and create electricity from their body as well as manipulate electricity from outside sources. Generating causes more strain and requires more effort than simple manipulation.

The good points:
This ability is great for offensive attacks.
Tap into outside electrical sources from power lines to natural lightening.
User has some immunity to their own power.

The bad points:
Excessive use can draw the person.
Takes time to master.
Excessive amounts of electricity can harm the user.

Empathy• The ability to sense and control the emotions of others.

DESCRIPTION
Empathy is the ability to sense the emotions of those around you and influence those emotions. This power can be used to instill confidence, fear, anger or any other emotion in anyone you choose. Empathy can also be used to channel the emotions of a victim into the mind of their attacker and force them to relive what their victim felt until they fell guilt for what they did.

The good points:
Empaths are difficult to lie to as they can sense emotions.
Users can manipulate emotions in order to manipulate others.
User can overwhelm opponents with fear or other distressful emotions.

The bad points:
Takes time to master.
If surrounded by too many people or in a stressful situation emotions can be overwhelming.
Can be counteracted by other mental powers like telepathy.
Use of this power may be involuntary at times.

Energy Blasts• The ability to expel various forms of energy from the body.

DESCRIPTION
Energy Blasts power allows the user to create energy, blast energy, and create weapons with energy. For example, the user could form the energy they produce into a projectile blast or with practice they could form it into the shape of a sword. This power does take time to master and can leave the user drained.

The good points:
Energy blasts make a great weapon and can be used to make weapons.
Can also be used defensively to create shields and barriers.

The bad points:
Requires a lot of practice to master.
As user produces energy from their own body, they are physically drained after excessive use
Power can be deadly and devastating if used accidentally.

Fear manipulation• The power to see and create someone's worst fears.

DESCRIPTION
With a single touch, the user of this power can see what someone's greatest fear or fears are. They can also create an illusion based upon this greatest fear for the person to see.

The good points:
User can know what their enemies are afraid of.
User can scare their enemy with the illusion of this fear.
Depending on the fear, power can be used to drive another mad or kill them.

The bad points:
Only works on humans, does not work on animals.
Can be used involuntarily by accident.
User can be affected by their own power if not careful.

Flight• The ability to fly.

DESCRIPTION
Users of this power have the ability to lift themselves in the air and able to propel, levitate and glide with sheer force of will. With touch, they can also share this ability, allowing anyone who is touching them to fly as well. Until they let go.

The good points:
Traveling just became a whole lot easier.
User can share this power and make others fly while touching.
Power has little drain on your energy so user will not fall while in the midst of flying.

The bad points:
User can only fly where there is oxygen. Go too high and user can die.
Power only works on others when touching. If user lets go, the other person will fall.
Power isn't great for a fight.

Florakinesis• The ability to control & grow plant life.

DESCRIPTION
This ability allows the user to use plants around them as an extension of their own body. User can promote plant life and make plants grow at a quicker rate and to large proportions. However, user must have plant life nearby or on hand as they cannot create plants.

The good points:
User can make plants grow faster.
User can mentally control plants.
With time, user can become in tune to plants nearby.

The bad points:
User must have a plant source such as seeds or an existing plant to work with.
Plants can get out of control and take on a life of their own.
Requires practice and time to master.

Geokinesis• The ability to manipulate rocks, soil, and earth.

DESCRIPTION
A user of this ability can turn the ground they stand on into a weapon. They can mentally cause rocks to levitate, cause minor earthquakes, and manipulate the rock & soil. The user can even become so in tune with the earth that with some time they will know where the fault lines in an area are.

The good points:
Cause an earthquake with a thought.
Use the rocks and soil around them as a weapon.
With time, use the power to mentally connect with the ground around them to seek out fault lines and geological formations.

The bad points:
The power is useless against metals.
Power is tied to emotions and can be triggered with stress.
Processed rock & soil is harder to manipulate/control.

Geo Mimicry• The ability to turn into a humanoid rock creature.

DESCRIPTION
With this power, the user's body will take on the property of rocks. You'll have an increase in size, superhuman strength, endurance, a super tough & thick hide that makes you almost invulnerable. User can transform back to human at will. Usually. Bad thing is that the users speed & agility will be slow, they'll sink to the bottom in bodies of water & strong winds will cause erosion.

DESCRIPTION
This is not the power to freeze; the user actually psychically transmutes matter into ice. One with this ability may do it by touch, look or just mental power (depending on the user's skill and development). It affects the subject in the same way one is affected by the power Petrifaction, but, instead of stone, the subject turns into ice. In addition, if a subject is turned into ice, they can be returned to normal at will, as long as the ice hasn't melted or been shattered.

The good points:
User can freeze their enemies.
User has a high resistance to cold and immunity to their own power.
User can turn living and non-living matter into ice.

The bad points:
If a living creature turned to ice shatters or melts, they're dead.
It can also be triggered subconsciously and used accidentally.

The bad points:
Useless in a fight unless used to plead in multiple languages.
If languages aren't used regularly, they are forgotten.

DESCRIPTION
With this ability, the user can heal almost any illness or wound. The person will be brought back to 100% health--all the user needs to do is touch them to heal them. The user of this power can also heal themselves. There is some limitation as to what can be healed and the ability to heal more serious diseases requires practice and multiple attempts. Healing is also physically draining. The user cannot heal people who are dead, only those still living.

The good points:
User will have less need to go to the doctor.
User can heal their friends, families and themselves.
Handy in a life or death situation.

The bad points:
Healing too many people can be exhausting.
User cannot completely every disease out there.

Heat vision• The ability to generate thick , thin, or narrow beams of pure heat energy from the eyes.

DESCRIPTION
Heat Vision allows the user to produce varying amounts heat from their eyes. Users must be capable of concentrating on a specific object, his/her eyes generate intense heat. This effect will either cause objects to melt, cut, or fused together due to the reaction. Heat vision may be seen as a beam of visible heat or as infrared radiation, or may have no visible beam at all. The power's strength and function may affected by the user's emotional state.

The good points:
Reheat anything with the power of your eyes.

Cut through walls with your eyes.

The bad points:
Limited to your eyes only. Any damage to your eyes and the power is useless.

DESCRIPTION
The user of this power can detect and manipulate anything in his/her circulatory system. The user can also absorb and metabolize blood like a leech through physical contact with another human.

The good points:
User can create clots to cripple or kill with a thought.
User can sense the presence of other people through their heartbeat & blood.
User can make their wounds or the wounds of others bleed more or less if they want.

The bad points:
Use of this power can be affected by emotions. If used unintentionally it could cause accidental death.
Takes time to master as blood control is tricky.

Hyalokinesis• The ability to mentally manipulate glass.

DESCRIPTION
A person with Hyalokinesis can manipulate glass in any shape, color, or density. They can repair, reshape, or recolor it without heating it up. Naturally, it can also be used as an offensive weapon (slicing or stabbing) or as a defensive tool (super-dense body armor or a levitating shield). However, they cannot create glass. In addition, they are not immune to the damaging effects of glass--i.e. cuts and blood loss.

The good points:
Glass is a weapon that is available almost anywhere.
This is an effective offensive power for a fight as can slice & stab enemies.
User can also defend themselves with shields and armor created with glass.

The bad points:
User needs glass nearby, they cannot create glass out of thin air.
User is not immune to affects of glass and can easily cut themselves.
Mastery of this power takes significant time & concentration.

Hydrokinesis• The ability to mentally manipulate liquids.

DESCRIPTION
This power allows the user to mentally manipulate liquids and essentially anything with water in it. They can use any water surrounding them as on offensive weapon in the form of geysers, jets of water, ice projectiles and scalding steam. With extended practice user can use and alter liquid in its various states (ex: ice, steam, fog).

The good points:
Water can be found almost anywhere. (ex: bodies of water, in plants, in the human body)
User can manipulate the various states of water.
User can control body fluids to a certain extent.

The bad points:
User cannot create water, it has to come from somewhere.
Learning to use various forms takes a lot of practice & time.
User can only control a certain amount of water at time. (ex: could not control an entire ocean, lake or pond).

Hypnotism• The ability to put people into a trance of extreme suggestibility.

DESCRIPTION
The user can put a target into a trance by staring into their eyes. This state also leaves the target highly susceptible to suggestions, like "Kill your boss", "You are now a Democrat", or "Every time you hear James Brown's music, you will start to sing along at the top of your lungs." Eye contact is essential and the more people the user tries to hypnotize at the same time, the harder it is control them all.

The good points:
Can be used against the person's enemies, with serious or silly consequences.
User can suggest the target do anything (w/player permission).
Easy to use, all it requires is looking in someone's eyes.

The bad points:
The more people the user tried to hypnotize at one time, the harder it is to control all of them.
Easy to use by accident.

Illumination• The ability to generate photons of light from one’s body.

DESCRIPTION
The user of this power has the ability to generate photons of light from one’s body and it's a variation of light manipulation. The difference is that unlike regular manipulation, this comes from the body and the user control light coming from their body. They cannot control light from outside sources.

The good points:
Power can range from a glow to a blinding flash.
With practice, user can project it from just their hands, eyes or specific body part.
Can be used to repeal both natural and power generated darkness.
If used in a concentrated form, it can be a weapon similar to energy blasts.

The bad points:
Light can projected from any and all parts of the body until control is learned.
It takes a long time to learn how to use it as a weapon.
Generating too much light at one time will exhaust you.
User can only control the light they make.

Illusion Manipulation• The ability to alter the perceptions of another.

DESCRIPTION
This power allows users to create illusions that affect a specific form of sensory distortion. Unlike a hallucination, which is a distortion in the absence of a stimulus, an illusion describes a misinterpretation of a true sensation.

The good points:
User can make people believe what they want them to believe
Can affect any of the senses; ie. Sight, sound, touch, taste, or smell.
Can be used on groups of people at a time.

The bad points:
User can only do this while within seeing distance of the person/group.
Power requires a large amount of concentration from the user and will leave them physically drained.
It doesn't work on people the user can't see.

Imperceptibility• The ability to evade all of the five senses.

DESCRIPTION
Also called Incorporeality, this prevents the user from being detected by any of the five conventional senses; the user is rendered invisible, intangible, inaudible, insipid and inodorous. However, fortunately, he can also decide whether they wants to be just imperceptible to one sense or entirely imperceptible.

The good points:
The user can turn invisible.
User can also turn intangible.
Can control it to evade all senses or only one or two at a time.

The bad points:
Video cameras and electronics will still pick up your presence.
Those with mental abilities can still pick up the users' mind or thoughts.
Power can be used involuntarily without the users knowledge.

Induced Paralysis• The ability to hinder all the muscular functions of the body.

DESCRIPTION
With induced paralysis the user can stop anyone from moving or talking. This power only applies to movement and in no way effects organs or the blood stream. Though it usually wears off in an hour, with extreme concentration, the user can leave someone permanently paralyzed.

The good points:
Stop your foes with a thought.
Extremely useful if you need to escape anyone.
Will work on groups of people

The bad points:
Only works on people. Not animals and if humans are operating machinery when used, the machine will still keep coming.
Cannot kill anyone directly. For ex: You can't kill them by simply stopping them but you could stop them in traffic and kill them.
It's hard to limit to certain people. You many freeze someone you didn't mean to freeze

Induced Phobia• The ability to cause someone to be irrationally afraid of anything you want.

DESCRIPTION
To use this power the user must speak to the target and tell the target what the user wants them to fear. It will not work without a verbal command. Once the power is used the victim will feel a visceral panic and anxiety whenever they think about or are exposed to anything related to the object of fear, and they will usually act irrationally. For instance, a phobic of water can stop drinking and go crazy when they are wet; a phobic of germs can wash themselves until bleeding.

The good points:
The fear can stay with the victim for an extended period. With player permission.
Giving someone a phobia can incapacitate them if severe enough.
All the user has to do is say it and the victim fears it.

The bad points:
User can only give one phobia per person. You cannot give them two phobias.
Over time the victim can overcome or become desensitized to the phobia.
Overuse of this power can backfire on the user, giving them the phobia instead of the intended victim.

Insomniac Strength• The ability to become stronger and tougher by staying awake.

DESCRIPTION
The longer the user stay awake, the more their strength and invulnerability increase. When the user is asleep or has just woken up, they are baseline human, but two hours after waking up they will be impervious to small arms fire, and able to throw people around one-handed. The user will become tired as fast as normal people, but stimulants can help keep themselves awake but only for so long.

The good points:
Users strength continues to increase through out the day.
User can take stimulants such as caffeine to stay awake longer to increase their strength.
The user also becomes increasingly invulnerable the longer they stay awake.

The bad points:
User could be beaten/killed while asleep or shortly after waking up.
User cannot stay awake forever and tires like any normal person.
User is still susceptible to mental powers and sleep powers.

Invisibility• The ability to become invisible to the naked eye.

DESCRIPTION
The user of this power can become transparent so that people see right through them. This includes any inanimate object in contact with them, including clothes or anything they are carrying but does not include other people or animals. People can still run into the user and getting covered in flour, dust, paint, etc gives them away. Using this for an extended period of time will tire the user out.

The good points:
Travel in places unnoticed.
Spy on people with ease.
Can hide objects by holding them while invisible.

The bad points:
Extended use will exhaust the user.
Cannot turn other people or animals invisible.

Invulnerability• The ability to be immune to all forms of physical harm.

DESCRIPTION
The body of the user with this power is impervious to harm. They cannot be stabbed, burned, shot or killed easily. They are able to survive extreme heat, cold, weather conditions, and large drops. Essentially, they do not feel physical pain They are not immortal however and can die due to old age, lack of oxygen, stravation.

The good points:
User can survive things that would kill normal human beings.
User can survive harsh environments.
The user doesn't have to learn how to use it, it just works naturally.

The bad points:
User can still get diseases & viruses.
Power only works on users own body, not on anyone or anything else..

Iron Skin• The ability to morph your skin into an iron coating.

DESCRIPTION
The user's skin assumes a hard protective iron coating while still maintaining biological significance. It will still flex and bend with their body movements. This ability is noticeable as it changes the user's skin to same colour of iron. The user may be able to revert back at will. It is similar to metal mimcry except these users only turn to iron.

The good points:
Great protection from bullets.
User becomes stronger in their iron form
User still retains their mobility and flexibility in this form.

The bad points:
Very susceptible to mutants with metal or magnetic powers.
Still susceptible to mutants with mental powers.

DESCRIPTION
A user of this power can increase an object's kinetic energy by touch. The next time the object touches another, it will explode. This makes everything and anything a dangerous weapon. The user must touch the object to make it charged.

The user can make anything a weapon.
User can charge an object but also take away the charge.
Can charge multiple objects at the same time.

The bad points:
Users can accidentally charge objects.
The larger the charge, the more exhausting it is for the user.

Levitation• The ability to make yourself and other objects float.

DESCRIPTION
Levitation enables the user to make objects as much as half a ton lighter than air, thus making them float. The objects can then be lifted as easily as balloons. They can also make themselves float. However, there is no direction or projection that comes with this; the objects will drift aimlessly unless acted on by an outside force. The power is floating, not flying. Also, prolonged usage causes intense migraines.

The good points:
Can levitate up to 1000 pounds.
Move normally heavy objects with ease by floating them.
Use the power to float away from a threat or danger.

The bad points:
Objects levitated will drift unless pushed in a direction.
Lifting large and/or heavy objects requires a lot of focus.
Prolonged usage causes intense migraines .

Life force drain• The ability to suck the ability and life out of a person. **Mod may enforce restrictions.

DESCRIPTION
A user of this power can absorb the vitality of a person just by touching them. This prolongs their lifespan, but weakens and can kill the person. As if this were not enough, the user also temporarily absorb the person's special ability (Flight, Superhuman Speed, etc.).

The good points:
Potentially live forever if user uses power regularly .
User can temporarily try different powers.
Handy in a fight and an easy way to kill people.

Light Manipulation• The ability to manipulate or generate light.

DESCRIPTION
With this ability, the user can take control of the light surrounding them, or even in dark places, emit light from your hands or body. When surrounded with light, user can even bend it around themselves, rendering you with limited invisibility. User can also bend other forms of light such as lasers that would trigger alarms etc. With more practice, they can make their ability offensive, either by creating laser beams from their hands or creating solidified objects of light

The good points:
Natural abundance of light, so theres alot to manipulate.
Can become a light source when in need of one.
Can achieve limited invisibility by bending light.

The bad points:
Offensive abilities can be uncontrollable and dangerous.
Extremely draining. Use it too much and the user will pass out.

Lycanthropy• The ability to shape-shift into a wolf-like form.

DESCRIPTION
This ability is similar to the classic werewolf myth but isn't so extreme. The user merely becomes a bipedal humanoid with a muzzle, fur coat, claws, and enhanced physical attributes. They are twice as strong, twice as fast, heal at an accelerated rate and their hearing and smell are 10 times as acute. They are not affected by the moon, silver or other traditional werewolf mythology.

The good points:
Heightened senses makes it easier to track people.
Can retain heightened abilities in human form.
Great for fighting.

The bad points:
Heightened sense can lead to being overwhelmed by intense stimuli.
Activates under extreme duress.

Magnokinesis• The ability to manipulate or even create and control magnetic waves and eventually, metal.

DESCRIPTION
With their hands or even their thoughts, users can create and control metal, magnets, and magnetic waves. This is a very simple ability and can be very useful. The user can even learn how disrupt computers, screw with compasses etc. Controlling metal is a learning process thought and the user must work towards it. This ability doesn't come to the user when then first have this power.

The good points:
User can control and mold metal at their will.
User can use magnetic waves to disrupt machinery.
User can detect the presence of metal.

The bad points:
Can be hard to control.
Takes time to learn how to manipulate metal.
Not very useful if there's no metal around.

Mark and track• The ability to mark anyone or anything and keep track of their position.

DESCRIPTION
The user is able to touch the object or the person they want to mark and track. From the moment of touch and until they release the mark, the user will sense exactly where the target is at any time. The user can mark & track multiple objects and people though too many marks may overwhelm them. Also, the closer the marked things are to the user, the stronger they will attract the user's attention. As such, if they are in the user's visual field, the user can clearly pinpoint their location.

The good points:
User can easily tail anyone. You just need to mark them or one of their possessions.
User can mark & track multiple targets at a time.
If one of them gets too close to you, you will know it immediately.

The bad points:
You need to touch the person or the object you want to mark.
If you marked someone's possession, they can still leave it, lose it or give it to someone else.
If you mark too many things, you may be overwhelmed by the huge quantity of marks.

Matter Absorption• the ability to absorb the structure of different materials.

DESCRIPTION
With this ability, the user is able to absorb the physical structure of any material at will. If they touch flame, they become living and burning flame. If they touch metal, they can become dense, organic metal. Their cells absorb the structure of matter but remain connected, so if they absorb water, their cells won't drift apart.

The good points:
Can use ability to survive the elements, such as fire.
Makes for a good offensive power
Turning into air provides transportation

The bad points:
You could cause damage as certain substances ie. Fire, acid, etc.
Your are susceptiable to powers that manipulate other forms. Ex: turn to fire, be affected by pyrokinesis.

Memory Control• The ability to manipulate, steal and erase other people's memories.

DESCRIPTION
The user can view, manipulate and erase other people's memories. With practice, the user can also recall any memory perfectly and never misremember. It works to a range of 20 foot away. An advanced user can manipulate another person's memories to the point to creating new memories. They can steal others' memories to get whatever information others have and review their memories instantly. With easing, they can remove the full memory or just parts of the memory.

The good points:
The user can make people forget ever seeing them or anyone.
The user can view the memories of anyone within a twenty foot radius.
With practice, the user can learn to plant false memories.

The bad points:
May be counteracted by other mental abilities like telepathy.
User may see memories they do not wish to see.

Metal Mimicry• The ability to transform into metal.

DESCRIPTION
At will, anyone with this ability can become any metal they choose. Gold, silver, bronze, platinum, steel, tin, copper, mercury or any other metal. Not only this, the user has metallic reshaping powers. So, when in the middle of a fight, they change their hand into a hammer, sword, wrecking-ball or any other metal based weapon.

The good points:
You can transform into any metal
You can reshape yourself into anything
Different metals give the user different strengths.

The bad points:
Choosing the wrong metal could put you at a disadvantage.
User is susceptible to metal control powers like magnokinesis.
Weight increases in metal form meaning you'll sink faster and be harder to lift if needed.

Metamorph• The ability to alter your own molecular structure at will.

DESCRIPTION
A metamorph can manipulate their own molecular structure. This allows the user to become anyone or anything. Metamorphing into a human form is the easiest while metamorphing into animals or other objects is far more challenging. Taking a shape larger than the user's nature form is difficult and harder to maintain than a form close to or smaller than the users natural form. Some metamorphs become immortal by morphing into a younger version of themselves. The more they morph they harder it becomes to return to their true form.

The good points:
User can take on any shape and disguise themselves completely.
User can prolong life by shapeshifting into younger forms.
User can pretend to be other people.

The bad points:
The more you morph the harder it is to return to your true form.
User can get stuck in other forms.
Requires a level of concentration to maintain form.

DESCRIPTION
The user can link any two minds together to have them think exactly the same, hear each other's thoughts or alter a chain of thoughts the other person thinks. It is similar to telepathy except it only works on one mind at a time.

User can communicate with another person through thought.
User can alter the thoughts of the person they meld with.
User can read the thoughts of their target.

The bad points:
The target can hear the users thoughts so they will be aware of the user.
Emotional transference is a side effect. I.E. user & target will feel each others emotions.
User can find it hard to concentrate on melding and outside senses such as hearing noises around them.

Muscle mimicry• the ability to replicate any physical action after seeing it performed once.

DESCRIPTION
The user can copy any human movement after seeing it performed. Can achieve acrobatics, martial arts, and physical stunts. With these skills they can become masters and incredible at what they do, by combining what several forms and movements in rythmic motions instead of using the same thing over. Can copy how a person aims, giving themselves incredible marksmanship, though if he or she wanted to use certain weapons they would have to watch a person fire that weapon to be able to copy it. Such as how to fire a rifle as opposed to how to fire a bow, or how to throw knives or darts.

The good points:
Learn any physical action just by watching it.
Users muscles automatically adapt to allow for the mimicry.
Very handy in a fight as user can mimic opponent.

The bad points:
User must see the action first.
User must practice the learned movement or else they'll forget it after a while.

Necromancy• The ability to see the spirit of a deceased person, either as an apparition or ghost, or to raise them bodily.

DESCRIPTION
Necromancy is the art of raising the dead. With this ability the user can animate corpses and skeletons, see and talk to ghosts, and use their power over death in many ways. All corpses and skeletons they animate are under their control. And while they do have their own will, ghosts can be forced to follow a necromancer's orders with practice. Extremely skilled necromancers can learn to sense another person's life force but this requires lots of practice.

The good points:
Can see, hear and talk to the deceased.
User can re-animate and control the dead.
With practice, can learn how to control ghosts.

The bad points:
Can lead to being harassed by the dead.
User can be overwhelmed if in the presence of too many ghosts or dead bodies, i.e-at cemeteries or morgues.
Power is difficult to shut off, so seeing the dead can be constant.

Allows the user to manipulate their own nervous system and the nervous system of other people. Can be used to cause pain, decrease pain or cause pleasure through nerves. The user does have a limited range and can only use their power on people within their presence or field of vision.

The good points:
The ability to enhance pleasure can be as simple as enhancing the nerve receptors on the tongue.
One can nullify another's nerves so they do not transmit, immobilizing the other party.
Anyone within the users range can be affected.

The bad points:
Power is not viable against non-organic material.
Can accidentally hurt another person.
Drugs that effect the nervous sytem can hamper the user's ability to control their power.
