Brief Bio »Maggie had what most people would call the perfect childhood. She was raised by two loving parents, had a ton of friends and did well in school. True, Maggie was always sort of awkward and she wasn’t really popular per say, more like popular by association. While her best childhood friends grew up to be cheerleaders, members of the student council or homecoming queens, Maggie grew up to join the math & chess teams like stereotypical nerd. Thankfully, Maggie had decent friends who accepted her for who she was, unlike the Hollywood portray of popular kids. Okay, there were a few who made snide comments or pulled the odd practical joke but those people weren’t the people Maggie grew up with.

The only truly awful experience from Maggie’s adolescence came in the form of her first boyfriend, Nick. When he first asked Maggie out, it came as a big surprise to her for Nick was also very popular but also very good looking. Not to mention one of the guys who liked to tease her but since he seemed so sincere, Maggie gave him a chance. The next couple months were the happiest Maggie had ever had and she truly believed herself to be love. One thing lead to another and Maggie slept with Nick for the first time. Then he dumped her ass like a hot potato, revealing that he had only dated her because he figured she would be desperate enough to put out.

Heartbroken, Maggie swore off boys and focused on her studies. Once she graduated from highschool, Maggie went on to study biology at the university of Toronto. Once she graduated Maggie started looking into getting her masters and while there were plenty of opportunities within Canada, Maggie was seeking something different. Something exciting. So she decided to continue her education at Imperial College London to study Plant Science and Biotechnology.

Adjusting to living in a different country took some time but by a stroke of luck Maggie met Leonie, another university student looking for a roommate. They quickly became friends and Maggie settled into life in London. Like in Canada, Maggie focused most of her efforts on studying and working, this time working at Angel's flowers on Isington in Central London. Things were great...usually. School could be stressful for both Leonie and Maggie which sometimes caused the girls to bicker but they always made up. Their worse fight was different as it was the first Maggie became aware of Leonie's special gift when in the midst of a fight, Leonie froze Maggie.

Leonie acted quickly and called an ambulance to get Maggie to the hospital. While she recovered Maggie soon became aware of her own power when she saw a professor of hers had come to visit her at the hospital. She was talking to him and having a grand chat when Leonie dropped into to visit and asked who Maggie was talking to. When Maggie explained, Leonie informed her that the professor in question was dead. Together the girls learned to deal with their gifts and Maggie was greatly indebted to Leonie for all her help.

Recently Leonie has moved away to further her musical career and with the recent intrusion of a Russian ghost, Maggie has found it harder to cope with her power.

QUOTE
It wasn't like Maggie meant to get drunk after work, it was more like she just didn't realize how much she had drank until most of the bottle was gone. It all started a  couple of months ago when Maggie had begun to take the odd drink to help her relax. Which she needed, thanks to her power that allowed her to see and speak with the dead.  However, she had discovered that alcohol made it harder for the dead to bother her. Or maybe she just didn't care as much if they did it when she was drinking. Either way, the discovery had lead to Maggie developing a bit of a problem. It wasn't to the point where her friends or anyone at school or work would notice but she was getting drunk on a more frequent basis and most often by herself.

Maggie blamed Boris for this. Well, she didn't know his real name but the redhead had taken to calling the ghost Boris. Maggie had started to see dead people back around the beginning of November but it was in December that she had gotten herself stuck with Boris. Maggie knew three things about this ghost: One, he only spoke Russian. Two, he was somehow related to Tadeas and three, he wouldn't leave her the hell alone. Maggie had tried talking to him but he kept calling her 'Shlyuha' which Maggie later learned was Russian for whore  . So then  she tried ignoring him which had worked for a little while until Maggie found herself alone in the apartment when  Leonie, her former roommate, had moved out. He had never pestered her when others were around but now that Maggie was alone Boris wouldn't go away.

Even as Maggie sat on the couch in her pajama's reading an old text book, Boris was there staring at her. The redhead ignored him and reached for her glass, taking a mouthful of vodka when her cell started  ringing. "Shit!" Nearly dropping the glass out of fright, Maggie stumbled onto her feet, dropping the textbook on the floor. Where was her phone? It had to be in her school bag so Maggie put down the glass and then promptly tripped over her own feet. Boris was smirking at her when she got up again, a smirk that looked an awful lot like the smirk Tadeas had given her when--" You're not helping!" Maggie yelled at the ghost, suddenly flustered as she groped for the school bag.

"Hello? Who's this?" Maggie finally had the phone in her hand. "Sofia? Is that you?" the redhead slurred. "'Kay, 'kay. I'll let ya in, hold your horses". It was a rough trip through the hallway to the door with Maggie tripping up again and hitting the wall. "If you're laughing at me Boris..." she muttered before opening the door.

"You are drunk!"

"Noo! I'm not drunk, I just had a little accident", Maggie assured Sofia but she let the blond lead her to the couch. "You came by to keep me company?" Maggie repeated as Sofia sat her down again. "That's so sweet. I miss hanging out. I miss Leonie. I miss you", she said as she leaned back into the cushions. "Coffee? It's a little late for coffee, isn't it? Oh! What did you bring?"
