Brief Bio »Maggie had what most people would call the perfect childhood. She was raised by two loving parents, had a ton of friends and did well in school. True, Maggie was always sort of awkward and she wasn’t really popular per say, more like popular by association. While her best childhood friends grew up to be cheerleaders, members of the student council or homecoming queens, Maggie grew up to join the math & chess teams like stereotypical nerd. Thankfully, Maggie had decent friends who accepted her for who she was, unlike the Hollywood portray of popular kids. Okay, there were a few who made snide comments or pulled the odd practical joke but those people weren’t the people Maggie grew up with.
The only truly awful experience from Maggie’s adolescence came in the form of her first boyfriend, Nick. When he first asked Maggie out, it came as a big surprise to her for Nick was also very popular but also very good looking. Not to mention one of the guys who liked to tease her but since he seemed so sincere, Maggie gave him a chance. The next couple months were the happiest Maggie had ever had and she truly believed herself to be love. One thing lead to another and Maggie slept with Nick for the first time. Then he dumped her ass like a hot potato, revealing that he had only dated her because he figured she would be desperate enough to put out.
Heartbroken, Maggie swore off boys and focused on her studies. Once she graduated from highschool, Maggie went on to study biology at the university of Toronto. Once she graduated Maggie started looking into getting her masters and while there were plenty of opportunities within Canada, Maggie was seeking something different. Something exciting. So she decided to continue her education at Imperial College London to study Plant Science and Biotechnology.
Adjusting to living in a different country took some time but by a stroke of luck Maggie met Leonie, another university student looking for a roommate. They quickly became friends and Maggie settled into life in London. Like in Canada, Maggie focused most of her efforts on studying and working, this time working at Angel's flowers on Isington in Central London. Things were great...usually. School could be stressful for both Leonie and Maggie which sometimes caused the girls to bicker but they always made up. Their worse fight was different as it was the first Maggie became aware of Leonie's special gift when in the midst of a fight, Leonie froze Maggie.
Leonie acted quickly and called an ambulance to get Maggie to the hospital. While she recovered Maggie soon became aware of her own power when she saw a professor of hers had come to visit her at the hospital. She was talking to him and having a grand chat when Leonie dropped into to visit and asked who Maggie was talking to. When Maggie explained, Leonie informed her that the professor in question was dead. Together the girls learned to deal with their gifts and Maggie was greatly indebted to Leonie for all her help.
Recently Leonie has moved away to further her musical career and with the recent intrusion of a Russian ghost, Maggie has found it harder to cope with her power.
