Brief Bio » Born into a lower class family, Charlie Evans had an hard childhood as his father was an abusive cocksucker who smacked him & his brother around. When he was twelve his father got drunk and beat his mother to death, taking his own life after he realized what he had done. Charlie and Robert were put into a foster home which was an improvement over their childhood home but they already carried the scars of their childhood and would for the rest of their lives. Charlie did fairly well in school, not enough for university but better than his younger brother who eventually dropped out. Once he graduated, Charlie didn't have very many options. It was either work with at the local meat packing plant his father once worked at or enter the military. Ambitious, Charlie saw the military as the best option as would also provide money for a college education and he soon packed up and left home, never to return.
He served for eight years in active service while also earning a degree in Civil Engineering. Once he was honorably discharged, Charlie found work with the Canadian government and tried to readjust to civilian life. It was easier said than done Charlie soon found out. He hated his job, he was being drawn into his brother's problems and he missed the excitement of his old life. The biggest problem was his younger brother Bobby. After leaving the military, Bobby and Charlie managed to reconcile though their relationship always had tension thanks to Bobby's partner in crime and general pain in the ass, Jacque who along with resenting Charlie's return in Bobby's life, was trying to get Bobby involved in a risky heist. Once Charlie got wind of this, he tried to talk Bobby out of it and when that failed, Charlie offered to help in order to ensure Bobby's safety.
Unfortunately Jacque had been planning on double crossing the Evans brothers and ditched them at the scene of the crime while she got away with the goods. Charlie fled and tried to take Bobby with him but the brothers were seperated and Bobby was caught in the police. With the cops looking for Charlie, the man had no choice but to flee the country. Thankfully Charlie had kept in contact with old army friends who had moved on to the mercenary business and with their help Charlie managed to flee to Barcelona, Spain. In return, Charlie had to do a job for one of their contacts. As awful as it was, Charlie had found the job suited him far more than the old office job he had had or being a thief had suited. Over the next few years Charlie continued to work in the mercernary field, traveling around the world and earning surprisingly good money for his work. About a year ago Charlie first began experiencing his powers. It started slowly at first with little shocks and static cling but soon began to progress rapidly as Charlie began to shoot electricity from his body.
He was amazed and quickly sought to learn control over this new talent by practicng as much as he could. The physical and mental training Charlie had gone through in the past greatly helped and soon he gained control over his powers. Mostly. There were the occasional flare ups when Charlie lost his temper but for the most part Charlie had it under control. In November 2010 Charlie heard from a fellow mercenary that Jacque had surfaced in London and was living the high life so Charlie decided to move to London to pay the backstabber a visit.
Tracking down Jacque was harder than Charlie expected as word leaked out about Charlie trying to track him down. In the meanwhile Charlie has taken up residence in a London hotel while working a few jobs on the side. He knew there were other people out there with powers but has only recently encountered such people in his daily life. One was during a botched assassination job and the other turned out to be rooming next door to him.
