Officers were called to Beck road in Hackney on the evening of June 14th when local residents reported a disturbance from the home of Robert Hussey. According to eye witness accounts there were blinding flashes of light coming from the windows of the home in the evening. "It was like a high powered strobe light", neighbor Eric Jones described to reporters. "It had been happening a lot recently".
Upon entering the dwelling the police discovered the body of thirty two year old Robert Hussey.

The body was found severely lacerated in what police are describing as a home invasion. The murder investigation continues as the police turn to the public for information. " We encourage anyone with information on this crime to contact police or Crimestoppers", Constable Rory Higgins told reporters. When asked if there was any truth to the rumours that Robert Hussey was a mutant, Police declined to comment.
