 Welcome to Politics Sim: UK - a free online play-by-forum roleplaying game that seeks to simulate, as accurately but enjoyably as possible, the national parliamentary politics of the United Kingdom. At PolSim: UK, players create a fictional Member of Parliament belonging to one of Great Britain's three major political parties - the Conservative & Unionist Party, the Labour Party or the Liberal Democrats - and have the opportunity to play out the career of that character with other players and their personas. Whether your character spends the entirety of his or her career on the backbenches, in Government or even - if you should be so fortunate - in Downing Street, PolSim:UK offers an exciting, dramatic and accurate experience of national UK politics and government.
PolSim:UK simulates all major aspects of national politics in Britain - including the legislative process, the press, party leadership and organisation and general elections. The game is one of teamwork, requiring players to work together to try and ensure that their chosen party either wins or holds power at each in-game election. PolSim:UK is an entirely player-driven game, in which the decisions and actions of individual players and groups of players alike have a dramatic and noticeable effect on the direction the game takes, whilst at the same time a team of competent, experienced and dedicated moderators work to create a vibrant, living political world that provides an abundances of opportunities and challenges alike to the player-base.
