I can almost see it That dream I am dreaming But there's a voice inside my head saying "You'll never reach it"
Now you may be wondering why I'm quoting part of Miley Cyrus' Song, "The Climb". Well for the story that will take place, it's the foundation for the inspiration. And so, the story shall begin.
========================================================
For a moment, there was just emptiness in his heart as he stares back towards town. For the last 15 years, he spent wondering that town from inch to inch, just waiting for this moment. 15 years he spent talking pokemon with his siblings, his parents and his friends. 15 years he will never forget. As he stands on the slope leaving town, he felt a tear welling in his eye as the sun was raising behind him.
He felt a tug on his left pant leg. He hastily wiped away the tear as he picked up his Larvitar and hugged him.
"Well pal.. Looks like it's just you and me for now. What say you we start this off right?"
Larvitar nodded his head as Marvin started a small fire on the side of the road. Marvin was remembering how the day started, when he first got his pokemon. Random numbers was the game, in which he picked really good 3 numbers. He finally choose a Larvitar.
As they just sat there, watching the sunrise, Marvin made a silent pact with himself. He will do whatever it took to keep his dream alive.

"Kinda hard not to spy. I can see the light from your fire a league away," the youngster said grumpily. He didn't take kindly to being called rude. "Huh, all you have is one Pokemon?" he asked. "Figures. You must have just gotten that Pokemon too. I've already got three Pokemon," he said, bragging. "Fine, 1 on 1 it is. For my Pokemon, I choose you!" he called, throwing the Pokeball he'd been holding. A pretty tough looking Pokemon came out of the ball. Level 5The youngster smirked, confident that he would win.

Lavvy nodded and jumped into the midst of the battle, using a Sandstorm attack. It was a good attack to start off with, as it would also do additional damage to the Rattata for the next five turns. The Sandstorm also limited the Rattata's sight, but being a ground Pokemon, Lavvy had absolutely no problems with the Sandstorm.
"Good move, but we're better! Use Quick Attack Rattata!" called the other trainer. The Rattata, although it couldn't see very well, had picked up Lavvy's scent and followed it to the direction of Lavvy. Once it was close enough to see the little ground Pokemon, it performed a Quick Attack, doing a decent amount of damage on Lavvy. The little Rattata had a great attack and amazing speed, but Lavvy had more defense.
