Personality: Takao is arrogant and cold. His only concern in his Pokémon is of their power in battle. He strongly dislikes weak Pokémon and has a habit of releasing them if they do not meet his high expectations. He has a secret fear of Sharpedo, and has no preferences in music or food.
History:
Takao was born on Endeavor island, and was raised there by his father. He used to appreciate Pokemon's inner talents and hidden powers until his family's Buoysel failed to protect them from a Sharpedo in Charybdis strait. They were all badly injured while he sustained minor wounds. He ventured to Ichirou island to get his first Pokemon a year after the attack, and from there began his journey. He formed a rivalry with Shigeru, and they two battle at every opportunity they get.
