The clouds subsided as everyone looked at arena stage. James was there, clasping his knees, panting. He opened his eyes weakly, and raised a fist in the air. The people next to Spirit muttered things like, “That was over quickly...”. He ignored them and leant back again to look at the now-visible sun. As he shut his eyes the world swirled around him...he fell into his own space, his own world. Sounds around seemed to be blurred, but he could make out noises like, “...Dhoom and Sheranai...” and “Let the battle begin...” Through the isle walked another contestant. But he caught the eye of everyone around. For a start, he wore a paper bag on his head. Two glowing eyes could be seen underneath it. He was quite tall, and covered with crinkling paper bag. --- Oh god, I see a joke opportunity here... What do you call a man with a paper bag on his head? Russell! -gets tomatoes chucked at self- --- Sheran, on the other hand, looked ordinary. Ordinary. It was whern you saw through the pale blue skin, the white hair and the huge red-and-black cloak that you knew he was the Vampire Patrician, They both walked into the arena, face-to-face. The crowd rustled with the apprehension of - this will be interesting, but not as interesting as the last. Before the judge could speak, a brown light engulfed Dhoom and, without warning, in his place was a bear-sized dragon of cardboard. “Uh...kay...” said the judge, “Let the fight start properly now...” Without warning the two charged... ...and that’s all I can manage to write without dropping down dead from tiredness. I need more sleep. Warui, warui, sorry it’s short, I’ll do more next time I promise.
