Agasaya? Feeling a little more suspicious with this coincedence, Opheria could help but wonder at the chances of the fate meeting being legitally chance. Despite these hunches she returned to Nayyun's question; "He wanted to know about...about...my arm." She slumped the bloodied shoulder a little as if to prove how much she despised it. "He said I should get a metal arm," she continued, feeling embarrased under the gaze of her new friend, "I don't know how." -- It suddenly occured to her that no one had ever really asked how she had felt before. Feeling gratified, she finished lamely;; "Thanks." This conversation was already testing her social limits. Not wanting it to feel one-sided, Opheria attempted to meet the girl's eye as they walked and said, "So, [hesitation], what was it like for you? In the lab, I mean."
---
Hakkuden glowered at "agasaya" -- no one had mentioned another rebel nor hunter on the mission. Was she a neutral? A deciever, sent by some unknown forces? The paranoia he too shared with his sister being stirring within him; unlike his sibling, it did not make him feel cold towards the person -- it made him feel angry. Most everything did. And what sickened him worse? A gentleman. Like his stepfather had been. he could not stand how some men turn to mush infront of a woman. If she was tough, Hakkuden would accept her, not try to woe her. Especially, since, as this was a mission; there wasn't any time for flirting

Nayyun heard Opheria's poised question and shook her head. "Horrible, as I suppose it was for you," she said plainly. It was obvious, of course. "Although since I was born there, I couldn't really tell the difference between this and that. They raised me that way. So I wouldn't think. I guess I just floated through life."
She paused. "Although I regret never meeting my parents. I've seen pictures of them before. Two Golbats. They were really young, actually, he said that they had been teenagers when they bred." She stopped abruptly, looking embarrassed at the word he.
"Of course, I believe they got executed. Or something. I passed the time talking to someone like you." Eliana. Satisfied, she slowed her pace a little to match Opheria's. She'd have to get a metal arm, like that... imbecile Aggron said.
"So, tell me about yourself."
--
"So, tell me about yourself."
Rellik caught Hakkuden's glare and gave him a confident smile; he was not only flirting, but getting information as well. Besides, he'd have to know sometime whether this angel was on his side or not. Agasaya? Whatever, the name didn't matter. They couldn't make any decisions with her in the way.
He eased a hand up her back and caressed her shoulder. When he was regular human, he was a lady's man. Those days were long gone, though, nothing but memories to recall. He would never quite reclaim that throne ever again. But he could try.
"Agasaya? My name's Rellik. And..." He stopped, looked up, smirked.
"Why don't we exchange stories in the bluff?" he said softly, and shouted to the others, "Hey... we're here!"
In front of the group of seven was a massive bluff. It climbed way over their heads. Near them crashed water over water; part of the lake that led into this precious place. A cave opening opened up. Several warning signs were posted all around, a yellow tape covering them with WARNING. WARNING.
WARNING.
Rellik stepped over the tape and gestured for the group to do so as well. "This place is very convenient. It has elevators, though they are rather small. It was a popular tourist location until one of the areas crashed down and it was deemed dangerous. It will, however, suit our needs until we need to go somewhere else."

[THANKYOOOOOU]
He-? Was there...something she wasn't being told here? And, someone...like her? Shrugging off her lingering worries, Opheria slumped her shoulders further and began;;
"I really don't want to bore you, but - well, my dad died when I was pretty young from a form of bone cancer. I managed fine with my mom and my old -- older brother, until she decided to get married to this scientist...", - Opheria gulped, finding words difficult to conjure -, "...well, my older brother went missing after a while, presumed dead...I believed that, too."
-- she shot a furtive glance at the aggron in front, his metallic tail twisting and coiling, with what looked like frustration and irritation.
"And...something happened to make my stepdad go away. I can't remember what. But he w-went away just before...the scientists got here. I was sold to them by my stepdad. I guess...that's it, really. I was brought to that place and I was there for, around, six years. I don't know how old I am now."
The Cranidos-morph sighed in-avertedly, looking at the tree tops above her with an air of embarrassment, before noticing what the first three in front had discovered --
A large, rock-textured shape, cracked and eroded with age loomed ahead where the trees and the grass parted, a pool of sky-blue water rippling and splashing against the clifface. Strings and stripes of bright yellow paper was streaking around the muzzle of the stone beast, signs of the same colour plastered against the cave opening roaring ahead of the travellers.
WARNING.
Saved by their impressive, if not slightly ominous, destination from having to invent some other topic conversation, she filled with relief balancing against her gradually fading paranoia in the pits of her stomach.
Watching the lead-three, she saw Rellik getsured for them to catch up whith him; nodding at Nayyun she stepped quickly through the piles of dead leaves to join the other rebels.
What time of year was it now, anyway?
The Aggron sighed bitterly, glancing sideways at the Houndoom and his flirt as he explained briefly on the bluff itself.
...tourists, blah blah. Hakkuden knew about this anyway. He'd been to the bluff at least once before, though he could not remember who with. Maybe he'd been alone. After he had finished he watched as his sister began to stir again, her one remaining arm swining in the seasonal breeze.
Determined not to fail with his...ah...distractions of a sort, he made to move towards her and Nayyun. Once he had sided next to the girls, he smiled and said, "Nayyun, I believe I haven't spoken to you. Hakkuden. I was just...asking your friend on how her arm -- " - he shot a furtive glance at what clearly wasn't an arm, but rather a blank space in the forest air where there once was one - "-- should be fixed. I decided I should escort the two of you, you know? Making sure you're alright. The bluff can be a little rough."

Ah, finally, they were at the bluff. Well, near it, anyways. They still had to climb it.
When Doom and the others escaped the factory, he noticed that there was someone living there. Normal humans, most likely. And they probably wouldn't be too happy to see some pokemorphs just appear from nowhere and be like 'omg hi guyz'. They'd have to be careful... and prepare for a fight.
The sharpedo-shaped mountain was gleaming in the sunlight. Dark brown, with the yellow WARNING tapes on it. Parts of it had collapsed, perhaps by an explosion.
Doom then quickly turned around. He heard a faint rumbling noise. Couldn't have been thunder, the sky was completely cloudless. The groud started shaking. A huge, metallic snake came from under the ground, sending the pokemorphs flying.
It was a shiny Steelix. It was almost twice as large as a normal Steelix... and it looked really angry. There was also a purple, ominous fog around it.

The Steelix reared back and roared.
Rellik, caught off guard, stumbled backwards as it emerged fully from the ground. It sparkled dimly in the setting sun, dirt covering the shiny metal wound on its sides. Gold plated, silver mixed... its eyes a fiery dark purple. The dust cleared, but the fog still swirled around it.
What...?
Nayyun gave an audible gasp, her eyes wide with fear. Hadn't there been a file about this? Normal to the human eye, dark purple for the pokemon eye? Was it because she was born this way? The steelix was not gold, but purple to her. Rellik, however, saw nothing but a gold obstacle.
"Alright, he's probably the reason this cliff is dangerous!" Rellik shouted over the roar. "If we work together with triple and double techs, we can do this!" He motioned over to Hakkuden, Malicia and Agasaya. A tetra tech. He'd never done a foursome tech before, but it would work.
"Hakku, Focus Blast! Shadow Ball, Agasaya! Malicia, Vicegrip! I'll do Dark Pulse!" he shouted; the start of a tetra tech. He started to form his pulse and aimed it at the Steelix, where he directed others to do it.

Agasaya flinched as a Steelix erupted from the ground not far from her. It was no normal critter, either- it was far more enormous than an ordinary Steelix, and there was a strange purple fog writhing around it. Good Arceus, what? She had detected no sign of this monster during past visits to Sharpedo Bluff.
Rellik gestured her, Mawile, and Aggron over to him and promptly began issuing commands. "Hakku, Focus Blast! Shadow Ball, Agasaya! Malicia, Vicegrip! I'll do Dark Pulse!" (oh, so those were their names)
Agasaya was somewhat irritated at being told what to do by someone she perceived as her equal, but then realized she'd better get used to it if she was to work with these morphs. She held her hands out roughly a foot and a half, the palms facing each other. A small sphere of ghostly dark energy appeared between them and grew rapidly until it just barely touched her pale palms. She looked at the Steelix, and, grinning mockingly at it, launched the Shadow Ball at the beast.

Irritated and slightly startled by the roar of the great gold beast, Hakku made a split second analysis of the monster; a gigantanium gold-silver snake, filling the earthy cave. Ominous purple smoke poured out like a waterfall between the serated teeth, leaking out through cracks in the seemingly indestructable armor. Red eyes darted, confused with rage, backwards and forwards, following the rythm of the swivelling segments of the body. "What did I tell you?!" he yelled towards the two girls he was "protecting" -
"Hakku, Focus Blast! Shadow Ball, Agasaya! Malicia, Vicegrip! I'll do Dark Pulse!"
Obliging without hesitation, Hakku ran towards the other three, lifting his own silver arms above his head. A small beam of light pulsated between his claws, growing with his every heartbeat; specks of energy flittered around inside. His matallic head swerved to the side; there was Agasaya, a swirling ghostly aura glowing betwen her palms; Rellik, dark energy aimed at the monster, which roared and banged the giant tail on the ground --

Rellik licked his lips as the Steelix crumbled. What a waste. Would've made a good pet or so if they had kept it around. Gold, to boot. Whatever. It was necessary to make a point on the rebels.
He picked up a piece of smooth gold and fingered it. One side was damp and sticky. He rubbed his fingers. Blood? No, it was purple. He'd heard about these. Shadow Pokemon. Weren't they supposed to be extinct?
Hm. He raised his voice once more. "That was a tetra tech; four combined attacks to be precise. As you can see, they are very powerful." He smirked, put the gold piece in his pocket. It stuck out like jagged glass. "We'll teach you once we're up there."
Nayyun was led into the cave expecting something wonderful to have such a steelix guarding it. However, on the inside, the cave was nothing more than... a cave. She watched Rellik put his hand on a slide of rock on the cave wall.
Lights flickered on right to the side of her. In the darkness, she hadn't spotted it, but it was an elevator of huge proportions. She saw in her periphery Rellik giving another smirk. "As I said," he voiced, the sound bouncing off and giving echoes, "It will be a little crowded for a party of our size."
[almost there you guys!]

And so this obstacle vanished as quickly as it had appeared. Well... that was easy. Though, what could be expected, when the Steelix was bombarded with four strong attacks at once? Agasaya glimpsed Rellik picking up a rather nice remnant of the golden creature, and decided to follow suit, because, hey, it was shiny, ooh. She grasped the nearest piece, and, to her disgust, felt some sticky liquid on the side not facing her. Her hand whipped back, and she examined what little of the liquid had rubbed off on her hand. Oddly, it was purple. Huh. She dipped her hand in the lake to get the liquid off- no way she was going to wipe it on her kimono. Agasaya liked to keep it a pure, unblemished, ghostly white, because she thought it made her look more like a phantom.
Glancing at the others, Agasaya realized they were heading into the bluff (well, of course) and quickly followed them into a dark cave in which she had searched for runaways not too long ago. The cave's darkness, however, was soon broken by some old lights, revealing an elevator. She fondly remembered rocketing up its shaft, just for fun.
"As I said," came Rellik's voice, the echoing the cave produced making it louder than it was, "It will be a little crowded for a party of our size."
Indeed. Though, where, exactly, did Rellik plan on taking them?

[I STOPPED PROCASTINATING]
Hakku snarled -- yeah, like he wanted to ever even combine forces with these idiots. But the extra power...that was a nice little bonus for being stuck to a bunch of buffons. A consolation. Arceus, he thought as he swept past the gaggle of pokemorphs trailing from behind, letting his steel clad foot kick a piece of gold metal aside.
Ugh, runny purple stuff splattered over his ankle. He grimaced in displeasure as he wiped it off against the walls of the cragged, gloomy cave. A chill was picking up, he noted as he breathed in the musty air and the scent of damp earth. The light was growing stronger, too; was what Rellik had said about their approaching destination accurate?
// Opheria watched in silence as her older brother ran to catch up with Rellik. So, the two of them were in this together. Obviously they had been placed together, somehow, with that...Malicia thing and Agasaya. Maybe they were friends. She wouldn't know until Hakkuden actually told her of his disappearance, but whatever.
[ahaha I have to go]
