Hermione was anything but asleep, and who could blame her? The answer was unknown which was a shocker in her opinion. She racked her brain constantly, searching the same old files, to try to find the reason for her lack of the ability to catch some Z's.

She was curious at this point; curious for many reasons actually. Not only could she not sleep, she was anxious to find new secrets of Hogwarts. In her first year she had been so cautious about getting into trouble, that it never occured to her that if she was careful, she wouldn't get caught...hopefully.

With the plan that she had in mind, she was partly grateful that she loosened up a little this year about having adventures. She wondered if it was because her house had won last year, no matter how many points they had lost by breaking various rules. However, she brushed this thought away from her mind when she rolled over. Actually, it was more like flying away from the thought and having it chase after her, because with a single roll, she managed to fall off her bed. "Ouch," she muttered into the silence while she stood up.

Deciding to wander a little, she snatched up her wand and left the common room. Before she knew it, she was on a roof of which she did not know of. It was flat and she wondered how she had managed to get up there without being followed or caught by a patrolling prefect or worse, Filch.

Lieing down on the roof, she positioned herself comfortably and gazed up at the stars that were twinkling above her, winking from all directions, the moon grinning secretly grinning at her.
