Project: Chimera

During the revolutionary war the new American government was low on troops. The scientists, who lived in a secret base in a forest on the west coast, had more technology than everyone could ever imagine. They created a type of half man half animal. They nicknamed these creatures Chimeras. The chimeras had the ability to shapeshift into their animal. The first three types were wolf, fox, and eagle. The chimeras were sent into the enemy territory in their animal forms. They would attack the enemy at its base.

After the war the scientists kept on testing to create new chimeras, but they went too far. They had created two dragon chimeras, a male and a female. The scientists did not know what they had just done but they would soon find out.

While testing the dragon chimeras, most of the scientists were injured or killed as the dragons escaped from their cages. The dragons were angry at the scientists for treating the chimeras like animals, they were part human. The dragons released the rest of the chimeras and flew away, never to be seen or heard from again, but never didn't last for long....

The other chimeras were eventualy captured by the government. They used special darts that held the chimeras in their human form. After rounding them all up the government created a small camp in a deep forest away from any humans. There the chimeras live for the rest of their lives. Some chimeras escaped into the woods and constantly have to fight for survival. When all hope seemed lost the wild chimeras were saved by the dragons and taken to a giant tree. They hollowed out the tree and live there to this day, helping the others to freedom from the humans.

• Dragon
