Hi
I stuck looking for Pea's.....wondered if you could help looking for information on John Pea born abot 1813 in Indiana Married Matilda Thorn 1854 in KnoxCo. Indiana Had 7 children Minerva born abt 1856 marr C. Taylor Andrew born 1858 marr Sarah E. Ruth born 1861 Letty Ann born 1864 marr Leslie Bishop William born 1867 Jackson born 1870 Phillip Emory born 01 Dec. 1873 in Knox Co. Indiana marr Zora Cross children of Phillip and Zora Pea Otto G born abt 1892 died 12 July 1911 Mabel Ann born 23 Aug 1895 marr Chester Highsmith died 18 Jan 1977 Andrew J. Born 24 Sept 1896 marr Emma Evans Clara Matilda born 13 Aug 1899 William born 30 May 1905 died 06 Apr 1993 Ruth B born 08 Sept 1907 marr Clifford Smith Lester Robert born 25 Sept 1909 They were all born in Knox Co. Indiana am at a brick wall appreicate any help you can give thank you |

John Pea, born ca. 1811-1817 in Knox Co, IN, was son of Abraham Pea (b. 1778 Lancaster Co, PA, s/o Jacob Pie/Rachel Maquinet) and Susanna Selby.
John Pea married Matilda F. Conn, born ca 1835 in Indiana. Matilda was previously married to Jacob Thorn (on 9-17-1850 in Knox Co, IN), hence the Matilda Thorn everyone keeps posting. =) We only have documents about the Pea/Pie family back to the 1760's in Lancaster Co, PA... so John's line would be: Jacob Pie (b.1740), Abraham Pea (b.1778), John Pea (b.1811-1817).
